Everything about this place is terrible. The food and the service. I live in Georgetown and have always try to give this place a try over and over again but it fails every time. This place is definitely a front with all the people randomly coming in and out Going to the bar and the "servers" disappearing for 10 mins at a time. The food is soaking with salt and the severs repeatedly ask you what your order is and take 10 minutes to come backAnd tell you they don't have whatever you ordered or they can't remember!! OMG! I was blown this time - do NotCome here if you want a dining experience!! Even a mediocre one!!!

We stumbled upon Los Cuates while walking around Georgetown in Washington, and as lovers of Mexican food, we decided to give it a try. I started with a Mangorita, which was amazing--delicious and with plenty of liquor. I ordered the pastor and asada tacos, which were tasty but quite small in portion. I also tried the mixed ceviche, which didn't include any fish and came in a small portion, though it tasted good.Overall, the food had good flavor, but I found it too expensive for the small portions they serve.

I had been meaning to try this place for a while but was incredibly disappointed. Honestly had a hard time getting through the entire meal here. Every single thing my group of 4 ordered for both drinks and for food came back incorrect. It was kinda crazy. The servers were not really listening to us and pushed back really hard when we asked for things to be adjusted. They also only checked on us only 2x in an entire hour when we were only one of two tables.... Food was okay once corrected but not good enough to come back with this service.

The vibe of this place is so cool. You have bar, indoor, outdoor sitting and big groups setup is available at the back of the restaurant. The service was okay. The food looks good but tastes okay as well. I was expecting for more with the taste but didn't satisfy our taste buds.

Im from San Diego. I'm sorry that I have to make this post. This was maybe some of the most mid Mexican food I've had in my entire life. Staff was friendly but ordered a michelada and pretty sure it was devoid of beer, which was sad because perhaps the brief wince of inebriation would've saved my soul from the abysmal depths I was taken too after eating tacos from this place. Do yourself a favor and make your own dinner tonight.

The steak street tacos were medium cooked, tender, and the proper level of amazing favor. Leila is a great conversationalist. Please say hi to her, she will hook you up when she can have a nice conversation with you. The restaurant had an authentic Mexican environment with the music, the rustic furniture, and the artwork.

I have visited numerous times but will not be going back. The service is pretty good and the street tacos were tasty but this place leaves a lot to be desired. I paid $27 for an undrinkable spicy skinny margarita ($6 upcharge for that combo) --that tasted entirely like triple sec. It was terrible! Coronas were $9 which seemed a little pricey since it's not South Beach. The fried ice cream was completely freezer burned. Seemed like it was store bought and forgotten about for a few years before serving. It's walkable from my house and every once in a while I give it another chance. But I think this was the nail in the coffin and I won't be going back.

This is a great small town feel Mexican restaurant in the heart of Georgetown. I really enjoyed the margaritas and the chicken fajitas.

Oh my gosh I'm so excited that someone mentioned about the food when I first went in I felt very isolated the Waitress really did not I've much welcoming hospitality I was served the plate of nachos where it looked like some of the nachos were reused because i saw food drippings Once some of the nachos before I even applied the sauce to it. I even had the extra waitress for some water which she did not supply Yes everyone else that spoke the language had everything they needed at the table. Of course I didn't want to make it seem like I was in trying to lie to everything however that's how it made me feel
