I saw this spot on my timeline, looked at their food, & pulled up!! It's that simple. Being Family owned, & operated...made me GET HERE quicker than usual!! Their Blueberry Mule Mocktail ($4 with maple syrup, blueberries, lemon juice, & bubbles). Refreshing, & tasty!!STAMP!! Their Rosemary Paloma Cocktail ($9 with tequila, grapefruit, lime, & rosemary). Mildly sweet, & strong!!STAMP!! Their Crispy Fish Nuggets($8 six cod fried nuggets with a togarashi aioli). You cannot deny these!! Crispy, with a creamy savory aioli!!STAMP!! Their Pork Belly Bao Buns ($8 with a togarashi aioli). A crispy bread, meaty pork belly, & well seasoned!!STAMP!! Their LT Wings ($10 with a house made buffalo sauce, & bleu cheese). I visited Logan Tavern this weekend for a friend's birthday and had a great experience overall. Logan Tavern is a modern American restaurant.We started with the Ginger Calamari, which was hand-breaded and flavored with ginger and soy sauce. The dish was good, sweet and definitely inspired by Asian flavors. For my salad, I tried the Grilled Caesar, which featured whole grilled romaine hearts, shaved parmesan, and breadcrumb Caesar dressing. It was an interesting and unique presentation, but not my favorite. The dressing didn't distribute well across the romaine, which is understandable given the shape of the whole hearts.My favorite dish of the evening was the Pork Belly Bao Buns, served with Togarashi aioli and house pickles. The bao bun itself wasn't traditional, it reminded me more of a pancake. Although, it was soft, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the tender pork belly and toppings.The restaurant's ambiance was a standout. It had dark, sensual vibes paired with an amazing R&B playlist that elevated the experience.

I went to this restaurant on New Year's Day 2025 for brunch, I was excited to go here after reading previous reviews.Upon arriving I had a 12pm reservation for 2, the front door was jam packed with other people waiting for tables it was a bit confusing. After finally being able to identify myself for my reservation after waiting about 12 min. I was able to be seated.I ordered traditional bacon,eggs home fries with toast. My friend ordered smothered biscuits it came with turkey meat and he ordered a side of ham. I had to take my bacon back because it was not crispy at all you can see fat on the bacon and I personally prefer it cooked longer. The smothered gravy biscuits were actually English muffins after we asked about it, we were told afterwards they ran out of biscuits.The manager Ms. Kay came over and explained to us it should have been biscuits and she spoke to the chef and discovered they ran out of biscuits, she did accommodate us by removing the charge and we were pleased with that. Other than that the place itself is nice, very cozy and pleasant staff.I did order the bottomless mimosas and they actually bring out your own bottle and not a pre-made pitcher which is a plus. I would definitely return to try out other menu options.

Hands down the best french toast sticks I've ever had. It came with a delicious pecan maple syrup that was to die for. I didnt try my friends order because i was too infatuated with mine lol... It was a nice quaint place with plenty of booths which i like. The serve was a lil slow, but all in all it was a good experience.

Old school neighborhood bar vibes! Love that their happy hour is daily and it's a great deal with a vast array of small bites! Really liked the fried pickle chips (such a big serving for $4), the ginger calamari & the burger sliders! The pork belly bao buns were also super delicious and buns were so soft. The steak kabob was also cooked perfectly! The Aperol spritz was v solid and love that they serve right proper on draft. Wasn't super busy when we were there so service was fast and all the food came out very quickly from ordering!

Really enjoyed the vibe of this neighborhood bar! Would love to go back to try their breakfast! The HH is everyday and has cheap and yummy bites ranging from $4-$12, $9 cocktails and $7 beer/wine! The fried pickles chips are a MUST and a huge portion for $4. The ginger calamari was also super flavorful! We also enjoyed both the burger sliders and the pork bell bao buns! The steak kabob was also juicy and cooked perfectly - although for $12 there are better apps at more discounted prices! I enjoyed my Rosemary Paloma and the Right Proper Big Tomorrow beer!

About five years ago, this place used to be hopping. on my most recent visit from out of town I found it to be a shadow of its former self. They were not too many people there and the service was OK in the morning for breakfast but kind of indifferent for dinner. The food also seemed to be down a notch or two from when I last visited years ago. It's a nice looking space and I like the low lighting, but wade staff needs to be more energized and attentive.

As a southerner, it often feels impossible to find good food AND good service in DC. Eva proved this notion false, with a warm and welcoming personality- prompt and delicious service, an over all 10/10 experience. To the managers at Logan Tavern- give Eva a raise before such a talent is robbed for a better opportunity!
