This place has absolutely delicious buns! The pork and scallion buns and the braised pork buns are especially tasty. The portions are also very generous. Highly recommend! Also the price is very reasonable.

I tried two baos and they were just ok in my opinion... the shrimp and pork and the pork belly ones... The bread was very light and fluffy but the filling did not taste very love-filled, I can't explain (I can only attribute my opinion to 'ancestral knowledge'). Some of the other folks seemed to like the other flavors though so maybe I'll try a different one next time.I went during the day on a workday and there was no line at all. Relatively cheap and quick ordering process, and super convenient if you just need a snack after grocery shopping! Prompt and efficient service.

I give 2 stars for the presentation. I bought vegetable buns, pork & shrimp buns and chive pancakes.The vegetable, there're some eggs, clear noodle and some cabbages.. I did expect to have only vegetables...The pork & shrimp, dark sauce.. salty..The steamed bun are not soft ... aThe chive pancake , hardly see the chive.... And I guess they may use the same bun..Sorry to say that they are not tasty... but presentations are really good...

Good food, a bit salty though. The service was a bit slow But I loved the decorations and the seats.

These have to be the best dumplings(bao) in the area. Their Shen Jin bao is phenomenal and should be enjoyed fresh! This scallion pancake which is actually a scallion focaccia is amazing twist on the original. Buy them by the dozens and enjoy!

LOVE this place!!! So glad they opened at such a convenient location inside the 99 Ranch in Fairfax. Their Baos are soooo juicy and flavorful!! They have a good variety of fillings to choose from and each bun is very affordable. The people are super nice as well!

This corner food stand found inside the 99 Ranch Market sells steaming hot Chinese meat buns. Their best dish is the scallion pancake. It's huge and delicious. The workers in the front speak Mandarin and the workers in the back speak Spanish. Check them out!

This is a small shop onsite the 99 Ranch food court. There is always a long line on weekend. They have a good mix of steamed and pan fried buns. All of them are good but I especially like their pan fried pork buns that come in a pack of 6 and the chives and egg pan fried pockets. They place these item next to each other so you can't miss them. Quality and flavor on par with NYC Shanghai style restaurants.

The pork buns were ok, but the oil used was terrible. Very oily, salty and strange oily flavor. Pricey buns too. Vegetable buns were just as bad that I ended up throwing it away.
