Came here for a quick run for bone marrows for a recipe. The interior was quiet and clean. The workers didn't notice me upon walking in, but I'm wondering if they were just busy. The lady who helped me was super friendly in helping me find what I need. I got the last of the last bone marrows in the freezer. What I thought was strange was that they didn't have the price listed for bone marrow, so I felt a hint of sticker shock upon paying. Additionally, they have a 3% credit card surcharge which is something I'm not quite used to in the area.Overall, great butcher if you're looking for something specific for a recipe. Certain things can be better like listing prices and encouraging cash at the register. Additionally, price was quite high. What they do great? Sourcing pasture-raised and grass-fed meats from trusted suppliers. I believe that's why the price is on the higher end.

Friendly, family owned Del Ray mainstay that will cause you never to order a steak in a restaurant again because it won't measure up to the Let's Meat you cook at home. All the land-based proteins, all local, including eggs and milk, epic bacon, frequently interesting sausage, and some seafood, plus charcoal and cooking goodies. Order ahead for your special event and holiday treats. Often a chef onsite with cooking wisdom.

A lot of selection of meat so if you're looking for a specific cut or exotic meat then this is the place for it. But dang the price is not cheap for sure... so compare to what you can get at Costco or local supermarket I'm not sure if it's worth paying this much. Maybe if you're just into something different once in awhile. They also carry local farm eggs and milk. Eggs are 6.50 a dozen and milk is $5 per half gallon + $3 in bottle deposit. ( just to give you some idea ) lots of locals that's live in the area walks to this store to grab their poultry :)

Quick takeaways from my experience today;1. I asked a question about the spiciness level of the Oaxacan sausage, got a "It's Oxacan, what do you expect?" Might be a weird sense of humor but came off as condescending. No stars off, but c'mon!2. I asked for flank steak, but the piece they had was not cut how I wanted, and they wouldn't cut it for me. I'll see how cutting it on my own goes. What butcher doesn't cut it for you? C'mon! Definitely 1 star off.3. $19.99 a lb for said flank steak is pretty steep. Haven't cooked it yet, so we'll see if it's worth it. In the meantime, 1 star off! Will revise later.4. I asked for picahna, and they showed me one sad piece. Granted, they did have more in the back, but c'mon! Bought it, but the jury is still out on taste and quality. If the meat is out of this world when I cook it, then I might come back. Otherwise, there is nothing that draws me back.

wey friendly atmosphere. Went in there not knowing what i wanted and came out with some great cuts recommended to me by the butchers there and the SPG seasoning went great with the Picanha and Sirloin they gave me. Wanted wagyu patties but they were sold out so i will be back to try them.

This butcher shop is honestly one of the best I've been to! Not only are the staff knowledgeable and kind, but the quality of the meat is fantastic! You can call them ahead of time and find out what they have in house, place a special order, or order pickup. They offer a wide selection of meats and cuts, and selection can change week to week. I must admit, I've been to this phenomenal spot only twice, but they have both been great experiences! My last visit there was to purchase a tomahawk steak and man oh man was this thing GLORIOUS (see for yourself in the pic!), and I can also confirm that it tasted delicious too! What impressed me most about my last visit was how well they enforced safety rules (distancing, masks, etc). They had ample sinage outside of the shop on where to stand if you were picking up an order, or if you were a walk-in. The shop is quite tiny, so they enforce only one customer at a time inside. They even go as far as encouraging you to push the door open with your elbow when entering (more sinage) and they provide butcher paper for you to open the door when you leave, so you're not actually touching the doorknob. They really go the extra mile to be safe and responsible, and for that I commend them! I'll definitely continue to support this awesome local business!

I feel like I need to update my review for LMOTA (even though *woo* my last review had a Review of the Day) But since my first review written two years ago, I've since frequented almost on a regular/weekly basis.Their specialty sausages get released on their website every Wednesday. Look. There are Tuesday nights where I think YES I get to check their website tomorrow to see what's new. They have since become the best thing about Wednesdays. And I'd say about 85% of the time they come out with a new flavor I'd like to try. I do work nearby on the weekends, but I've learned not to wait until the weekend because they are likely to sell out by then, so I'll go on a Thursday or Friday now (and sometimes even then they are so popular there will be things that sell out even that fast!)Enough about me going on about the sausages tho because they do have every other meat that populates the planet, including the hard to find ones. I made lamb osso buco for the holidays (because lamb is way superior to veal, IMO) which finding that cut of meat would be impossible for any other place. I put an order in and they called me when it was ready to pick up.For real - I'm grateful they are around and love giving my money to a community business

The lady and I just moved in around the way and we are so happy to have found them. We eat steaks 1 to 2 times a month. And when we do, it just has to be the best quality we can find. Far cheaper than even a low quality cut at a proper steakhouse. We had the brevet and the picanha. I would have like a little bit more fat on top of the picanha. They had redfish too which was decent. Will be back.

Food - superb quality, great selection. You will find some of the best cuts of meat. Not the standard factory prepared beef or porkService - excellent personal service, called in and reserved my selection to avoid missing out. Family owned. You can talk to people who buy and prepare the meat. Validated parking in back of storeAmbience - very traditional butcher shop ambience with refrigerator displays of fresh meats. Friendly and helpful staff. If you are a foodie or a meat eater, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Also, recommend ordering ahead to avoid out of stock issues
