Found this restaurant in an unexpected place. It's located just outside of old town Alexandria and a street or 2 before before Del ray. The restaurants is nestled in between a gas station and a 711! Now to the rating...the food was good well seasoned. I had the ropa vieje. It was well seasoned in spite of a few pieces of beef a were over cooked , dry, and a bit chirpy.... but over all rating is 4/5. My friend had the vegan parmesan pasta- 10 out of 10, I would recommend. I also had the peach sangria!! Amazing!!

First, we walk in and we are told the establishment is sold out by the manager and they didn't even check for us telling us that they couldn't seat us. We walk outside and we made a reservation immediately within 30 minutes via the open table app. Second, when we got seated they told us we couldn't order from a regular menu after we confirmed in the front what the menu options were. Third, and the most frustrating one. I order wine and it was obvious the wine bottle had been opened for longer than a day and I requested a newer bottle - the waitress mentioned "they never do that , and that they have to use the older opened bottles" - I suggested they revisit that ridiculous policy. Place would be better if you could smoke cigars outside.

Went to Lena's for a post holiday date night. It was our second time visiting because we loved the vibes, experience and food so much during our first experience. This trip was also very enjoyable, though there were a few things that could have gone better. No notes on the vibes. The decor and ambiance is always 10/10!We started with two dirty martinis, which may have been some of the best we've had. They were extra cold and the ratio of vodka to olive juice was perfect.We ordered crab dip and wings as apps. Both were delicious! Crab dip was hot and packed with crab while the wings were wonderfully seasoned and perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Not to mention the dipping sauce the wings came with. YUMM! The only disappointing part is that we were told there were 6 wings per order but only received 5. Once our apps arrived, our server asked if we wanted to place our entree order. We don't typically do this in order to slowly enjoy our apps and take our time, but our waiter ensured us he would course it out and give us plenty of time so we obliged and ordered. We split the chop chop salad (we LOVE this salad) and split a large pizza; half Diavola, half Sausage and Pepper. We love the option to split a large pizza into two different pizzas! A great option for splitting. I loved the Diavola! The fried kale and hot honey were a delicious, and unique touch.That said, despite being promised our entrees would be coursed out, we received our pizza 10 minutes after order and our salad 5 minutes after that. We were even half done with our apps. This was disappointing because I love my food hot, so when I finally got to my pizza, it was room temp, if that.All in all, we love Lena's and will definitely return! I would just suggest ordering at the pace you plan to eat!

The ambiance is spectacular. I've been 3 times and each time in everyone I bring is impressed. The mozzarella sticks and chicken are both great. The drinks are decent and the service amazing. Free parking outside behind the building and you take the elevator to the main floor for Lena's. The only draw back is the main menu of food is hit or miss. You get large portions but the food is just okay. My breakfast pork belly lacked flavor but plated beautifully. I will definitely return for appetizers and drinks.

Their Diablo's pizza is absolutely delicious and different (not something I've had anywhere else). If you come here, get this. The crunch of the kale and the sweetness of the hot honey is a lovely combination! And no you cannot taste the kale at all. Aside from this dish, I think their pastas and spaghettis are standard. Service is good and if you reservations for the upstairs (themed) it is very cool.

The Cuban menu seemed limited but what we ordered was delicious. We had Cuban sandwich, pizza, and ropa vieja and calamari. The ambiance was amazing and we loved it. It would be a great birthday dinner spot or ladies night out spot. It is beautifully decorated unfortunately the frozen drink machine was not working so was not able to try the frose frozen drink.

Third time at this restaurant and the food was delicious yet again. One note: ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and it turns out it was more than just calamari. Not exactly sure what else was breaded, but some type of pepper and other things. This was not mentioned on the menu, and when the other person in my party raised it to the server, Daniela, to tell the chef, I'm not sure the point was received. It is indeed a lack of truth in advertising, and could result in serious issues if someone is allergic to any of the items included. For reference, visited another restaurant a couple of days later and they accurately listed all of the things that were included with their calamari appetizer dish.My only other comment is that the previous visits I sat at a bar height table. This visit was at a regular height table and it was so wide! Between the huge table, the music, and the other person's low voice, it was difficult to carry on a conversation.But it's still a beautifully decorated venue and I am sure I'll be back.

We ordered a bunch of pizzas, the meatball appetizer, and the tomato mozzarella sandwich. Everything was truly delicious. The pizzas were cooked perfectly with that wood fired flavor, and each pizza had a delicious flavor different from the next. The meatball was also spectacular, and I'm not really a meatball person. The sandwich was also great, it hit the spot with the tomato mozzarella and pesto. Our food arrived quickly and everything was served hot and on time. We went for a late lunch which was perfect because it wasn't packed and we were seated promptly. Can't wait to go back and try some other pizzas but I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in Alexandria.

Reservation at Havana 151, above the actual restaurant. Beautiful interior and great vibes of Havana. The di carne pizza was perfectly cooked- thin but sturdy, chewy inside and crispy outside crust. 16" was good for 2 people, plus calamari as the app. Not too much calamari itself which was disappointing- had a lot of fried jalapeños that blended in with the rest. You must go for the pizza. One of the best I've had in the area

The food was pretty good and the portion sizes were big. The place was also very pretty. However, the service wasn't great. We got sat about 10 minutes after our reservation, which was understandable (to set up), but the waiter didn't come to take our order for 35 minutes. And when he did come, he was quite standoffish. One person in our party asked if she could sub the meat for chicken and all he said was no (in a rude manner) and nothing else. We were all silent until he finally said she could add chicken. Another person was vegan, so she asked if she could get her pasta without meat, not knowing that the sauce already had meat in it. He said okay and stayed silent while just staring and then finally said the sauce had meat. She asked then asked for a plain spaghetti/marinara sauce and he started staring again until he finally said okay. Overall, his demeanor was very weird and seemed like he didn't want to take our orders. Also, he disappeared for a long time after giving us some to-go boxes and just kept walking past us while we were waiting for our check. We waited longer for that check than we didn't for our appetizers. He would look at us, make eye contact, and then quickly walk away while he gave every other table their checks. The place was pretty though.
