First couple times I visited, it was great. Last couple times, prices have gone up, service isn't great, food taste/quality has gone down. Hope they can claw back the flavor and service back to what it used to be.

Nope. Never again. Walk in and the establishment is nice. Ordering system is on the table.Ordered Sam Sun Gan Jja jang, Jjam Bbong and tang su yook.Server was friendly no issues, lots of potential and maybe a new spot. Jja jang myun comes out first , absolutely fantastic. On the spot about to start texting people to say this spot is legit.Next jjambbong. Nope. Mussels aren't even opened. There were 3 and they were all still closed. Although this is a seafood noodle dish the broth and taste was off. Something went bad. Couldn't eat it so left it on the table.Tangsooyook was unique. Crispiness was different from what I was used to. Slight pork smell but whatever.Anyways we told the server something is wrong with the jjambbong and he took the info. He brought us the check, didn't take it off the check , said he's sorry about the jjambbong and he said yea we ended up throwing away all the muscles since they are bad.Wait what? So they were bad and we ate some that had gone bad? AND you leave it on the check? Two tables next to us so I didn't make a scene or anything. Paid and left.....But as the day went on it irritated me and I regretted not telling them to take it off the check. This is basically common sense.Wife called back and basically the server who IS a nice guy but he said he did say he was sorry didn't he? He also said we should have told him to take it off of the check. We asked for the manager/owner to call. The server delivered the message and said the owner would call. No one called back.DONT serve rotten or spoiled food as I actually had the runs for a day.TEACH your staff that when they even confirm something was bad and the customer barely ate the food take it off of the check. I'm not trying to get a freebie, I don't want to pay for uneaten spoiled food.VERY VERY disappointed in this place and won't ever go back. 이거는 아니지.

My family and I came to Lee Hwa after the airport. The restaurant was very empty on a Sunday dinner and we were seated very quickly. We got the tang su yuk and jajang myun. The deep fried pork was very chewy (in a good way) and the noodles were very saucy. The servers were very attentive and very talkative. They came by the table often and offered a lot of small talk and explanation of the dishes. I felt that it was a little much but I think some people may enjoy it.

The gahn jjajangmyun (fried bean paste) here is absolutely amazing! The noodles are cooked and prepared to perfection. There is plenty of shrimp and octopus in the seafood version (samsun)...We loved the shrimp toast as an appetizer... the sauce and cheese is well balanced and sweet. You have to get the pork ttangsooyook and the I wasn't too big of a fan of the spicy shrimp kkangpoonghi. It was missing the slight sweetness and felt a little more peppery. I'd stick with the trangaooyook. Come check it out! One of the best Korean Chinese places in the area.

I went here for lunch on Sunday for Mother's Day (and we did not get the special course meal for that). I love the interior! It has cool lighting and also the waitresses were really kind and we didn't have to wait to be seated for a group of 4. I ordered the Korean Style Spicy Seafood Champon (jjampong / 짬뽕) and I thought it was really unique and not what I'm used to. The noodles were on the thinner side than I'm used to and really soft. I really loved the squid in the soup though. Also I thought that my mom's seafood and black bean paste noodle (삼선 간짜장) was so much yummier and my new favorite in Northern VA!! It's definitely on the pricier side as well but the portions are quite big.

The vibe of the restaurant was nice. We order three dishes: the noodle with seafood and black soybean sauce, the crispy yurin chicken with lemon soy sauce, and the lee hwa fried rice. Thought the food was overall underwhelming. The noodle with seafood and black soybean sauce was on the saltier side. It had the firey taste and a lot of seafood portions. Out of the three dishes, this was the best, but not good enough to return to this restaurant. The crispy yurin chicken with lemon soy sauce was pretty bland. The chicken was nicely crispy and cooked well but the sauce was lacking. I did not really taste the lemon. I wish it were a little more sweet and sour. The peppers were a nice kick but not enough. Lastly, the fried rice was the worst dish out of the three. The chicken, shrimp and beef pieces had no flavor. It tasted like it was just cooked with no seasoning at all. The overall fried rice also lacked flavor too. We needed to take some of the soybean sauce from the other dish to help balance out the flavors. The fried rice seemed like there was no garlic even. Just oil, rice, egg, meat, and maybe a small pinch of salt. I was very disappointed in this dish since it is not a cheap price!! The service was pretty friendly and the server knew both Korean and English fluently. It took a bit of time to get the check, but not too bad! I don't know if I will be returning to this restaurant. Didn't really wow me and the food was quite pricey.

Like their scorched rice stew, and their sweet and sour pork (tang so yook). Definitely on the pricier side for smaller quantity .. I guess hence the "tapas"

I just visited for the first time to eat Korean Jambong with my family. Its taste was mediocre and not much contents in a bowl, and its price was $19. That is way too High. If its price is expensive, then its food should be worth it--but it is NOT. Its service was also below average. Not impressive...I would not go back to this restaurant. There are other restaurants that give more contents of its food and its price is reasonable. Ambiance was not vibe,
