Had a power lunch here with my employees, and as always, Lebanese Taverna delivered on flavor and service. I opted for my go-to, the Taverna Platter with beef and lamb, and it did not disappoint. The meat was cooked perfectly--tender, flavorful, and juicy.Service was excellent, and our food came out quickly, which is always appreciated during a work lunch. The fresh, warm bread paired with their creamy hummus was just chef's kiss--belissimo!The only reason I'm docking a star is because they no longer put pomegranate in their salads! I used to love that touch, and it really added a unique flavor. I hope they bring it back!Other than that, this place is still a solid choice for delicious Lebanese food, and I'll definitely be back.

Food was very good. Service was amateur hour. They brought the entrees before the apps, they served food to the wrong people, they mixed up the checks (only 2), and they grabbed the paidbill before we left. I seldom leave less than 20% but did here. At least they weren't rude. I would give 3.5 stars

Disappointing service. Great food great ambience but service was disappointing. Our server seemed new and wasn't familiar with the menu and was rather rude in misinforming us about menu availability. I understand you're new but if you're not sure, ask someone. Server also never came back to ask us how the food was or refill drinks (although I could see him standing by the service hall on his phone.).Management needs to retrain servers or corporate needs to retrain management.

Came here with a large group (15) for a work dinner. When I read the other reviews I was not excited, but they definitely exceeded my expectations! The restaurant has a good ambiance. Nice decor and doesn't feel like it's in the mall. The server was friendly and made recommendations, answered all questions with ease and kept our drinks full all evening! The Lebanese white wine was thoroughly enjoyed!!The food was great. I have actually never had Lebanese food before and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is Mediterranean fare and we had it served family style and everything was so fresh! The appetizers/small pates were so good! My favorite was the M'saka. Be prepared, it is cold, but I want more just thinking about it now! Falafel was not dry, hummus and dips were quite good. I personally was not a huge fan of the kibbeh, but I think that's just personal taste/texture preference. I would've preferred a bit more bulgur in the Tabouleh. Main course was just meat and onions and dip. The best dip turned out to be straight up pressed garlic. I've never seen/had garlic that texture so had asked what it was, imagine my shock when the dip turned out to be just garlic! The meat was cooked well, in that there was pink in the beef and chicken was cooked through. For dessert we ordered a few orders of donuts and Knafe, along with some baklava. It was all very good. The Knafe was super interesting in that it wasn't very sweet but I kept going back to it. The sesame "roll" with it gave it a nice depth. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal (maybe the wine influenced that? I kid, I kid). I will definitely eat Lebanese again because of this. Give it a try!

We came back to this restaurant in Tysons 2 after a trip to Tyson's 1. After a little bit of haggling, they gave us a booth rather than a small table in the middle for a party of four. The food we ordered was tasty although the service was not great For example, the bread came 10 minutes before the hummus came, then it took another 30 minutes for the meals to be delivered and then further it took them 20 extra minutes to get us our check after we had finished eating. Not a bad experience, but they really need to keep an eye on the tables, especially for the folks that have finished eating and are waiting on their checks.

We stopped by Lebanese Taverna after Church and were pleasantly surprised. This place is tucked inside Tysons Galleria, with a pretty spacious area to dine. The service was very pleasant, however extremely slow. It was decently busy, but it took about 45 minutes after being sat to get anything at all. That was really our only qualm. The food however was delicious! We tried the appetizer sampler, which had 9 different small dishes to sample. A few different flavors of hommus, salads, falafel and many others. Each were individually yummy! The entire platter was quite filling! We also tried the kafta sandwich and that was great as well! Overall nice place to try if you're in the area and have the time! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys middle eastern food!

I have been to the two Lebanese Tavernas in Rockville and they both are not this fancy! Both Rockville locations have the order-at-the-counter type of establishment so this was not what I was expecting. Here we have a sit down with nice dishes and silverware type of place. Service was a little slow for an early dinner around 5:00 p.m. Not too many guests at that time on a Saturday evening. We ordered appetizers and still waited some time for our main meals to be brought. I got french fries as the appetizer and I love the garlic dipping sauce that comes with it. My main dish was the lamb kabob entree with included several chunks of lamb, roasted vegetables, and rice pilaf. Definitely a filling meal. Everything was well prepared. The lamb was a little chewy and I would have liked just a little more pink in them. Otherwise, it was a lovely meal.

Came here for a private anniversary party with 15 people- the space was really chic and comfortable, and the food was good! The appetizers in particular were really delicious- cauliflower arbaneet and a vegetarian samosa in particular! They have a good mix of vegan, vegetarian, and meat appetizers for a big crowd. It would be nice if they had more vegetarian entrees- the zucchini meshi was so-so.

We moved from MI in 2023 (a place with an absolute abundance of fabulous middle eastern food) but have not had luck finding comparable food until we went to Lebanese Taverna. We thought our dinners were delicious and reasonably priced. Great choice at Tysons!

Nice looking restaurant with good quality food. I always enjoy the mezza platter and the kibbeh. I know that they had some quality issues in the past, but it seems like they have successfully addressed them at this point.
