10/10.This place is so amazing.The employees and owner are very friendly and respectful. Was a pleasure to get to meet the owner "Mr Larry"Received excellent customer service from Larry & Brett.Perfect little cozy spot to have a relaxing evening. And they are pet friendly. Will surely be revisiting very soon .

Larry's is a vibe! Great location, great daily specials AND card games?? You won't be disappointed coming here. Sarah is great and she will take good care of you, whether you're seated at the bar, a table or you're outside on the patio.

I have been searching for my dive bar in the area. Since moving to the area I haven't had much chance to go out and discover after hours. When I was living back where I moved from, I would be out multiple times a week to my favorite spot and just chill. This place hit a lot of those marks and reminded of that place.If you don't like steep steps use the entrance that is a gradual ramp to the door. Those steps at the other entrance were treacherous. Inside, like many have said, it is small. When the weather is nicer, I am sure that this is more spacious. But if you visit during the colder months, it's a bit off.Drinks were decently priced. Bartenders were accommodating to drink specification. Their margaritas are decent. The crowd can be entertaining and welcoming. This was my first time here and when I went up to the bar to grab another drink I was offered some pizza that one of the patrons had ordered. Of course I declined, but it was nice of him.Got to meet the owner of the place and some other characters during this visit. They had us laughing and involved in the place. Definitely a spot I would return to.

Larry's always a good time!!! All week long drink specials on different type of vodkas! You can't go wrong with that! Also a Rum Punch that actually punch you lol. There are also board games and cards available to play. I'm usually here every other week looking for my fix of good energy and drinks, along side amazing service.

This bar is amazing, cheap drinks, great bartenders, and friendly people in the bar, met so many cool new friends here. Don't expect Hilton, Conrad level service here, it's a dive bar... when it comes to closing time please remember this bartenders have been there since 5pm, they are tired and dealt with too many drunk people. Jason, Amy and others are still very sweet but when it's closing time they just want to go home. The owner was amazing and so caring and my best friend Darling is so adorable and kind to everyone who steps into this dive bar! I only wish to find another bar like this in my new state of Texas, but I will always remember this dive bar in my heart !!

We came here for the whiskey walk! The people were VERY nice and the service was good. We didn't try any food but the whiskey was tasty here and they gave me a mixer to chase it with. Upon walking in there was a SUPER (cigarette) Smokey smell- which were not into. So we sat outside. The outside was nice and seems like it gets lively at night. If you're a Smoker/or don't mind the smoke smell and you like a fun crowd of people- you might want to check them out!

What's most fascinating about this wonderful neighborhood bar is that the number one priority is the absolute happiness of the bartenders. The service is just above abysmal when it's moderately busy. And, if you signal to them in any way that triggers their childhood horrors, then you need to sit down and and bow your head because your bill isn't coming until you have served your sentence. This is clearly not the whole staff, but those who fit this description know who they are, as does all the regulars at Larry's at the 30+ year institution. Location is magnificent which probably explains why it doesn't try harder. Sadly, it doesn't have. Always interesting. GRADE: C+

It's been years maybe three since I was at Larry's lounge in my travels. I just want to let you know that everywhere I go if I meet people who are going to the area I always tell them to go there

The lady bartender is so incredibly rude and customer unfriendly - because of her I will never return to this place. It wasn't the first time I have directly witnessed and encountered her out of the blue heinous attitude toward a customer. Won't recommend this establishment to anyone unless they get rid of her. Won't care if this place goes out of business

The bartender on shift denied us (a group of Spanish-speaking people) a drink after listening to us speaking Spanish. We DID NOT stay. Don't go there if you're Hispanic and queer.
