Just read some of the reviews post on here about this restaurant, if you can call it a restaurant. I wish I would've read them before ordering my food. Got a steak and cheese and it was the worst I've ever tasted!!! Bread was soaking in oil, it has horribly salty, the cheese wasn't even cheese, it was some weird looking thing. Took 3 bites and threw it all in the trash. I went to get a pastry hoping that it will be a bit tastier than the steak and cheese. As I approached the pastry counter saw the lady handling the pastries with her bare hands, NO GLOVES! Really... really!!!!! that's straight nasty. I think the best part of my visit was the Gatorade I drank. Hahaha!Take a look at the picture I have attached, the bread is soaking wet, the meat all burnt and hard.

The second that you walk thru the door, you know that this place is geared towards serving the Hispanic community. 3 televisions mounted to the ceilings with a soccer game in Spanish was the clear indication. In addition to breads and wonderful cakes, they also provide breakfast and lunch options. Their menu us very basic, which not much description. I wasn't sure how the. Chicken was served so I went ahead with a safer bet, the steak and cheese with French fries for about $10. It took them just a few minutes to prepare this and bring it to the counter. The lady working behind the counter was friendly and helpful and the transaction went smoothly. The steak and cheese sandwich was delicious and cooked just right! I don't head down this way very often so I'm not sure if and when I would be able to return

So I looked up this bakery/restaurant because it's been a while since I was last here and I was so baffled by the poor reviews. So let me tell you me experience after going back today 11/11/18. This place has been an authentic/hole in the wall/mom and pop place, went back today and it hasn't changed a bit. And I like that! Because they're true to what they are. My friend and I got two sopa de res, 4 pupusas de queso, 4 pupusas revueltas, and like two bags of fresh pan dulce. Absolutely zero complaints! Cashiers were nice and quick to attend, took about 10ish minutes to get our food. The sopa was so good, had more meat than vegetables, the meat was savory and tender. Our pupusas were bigger than other restaurants and we felt like we ordered too much. So much good food! This place isn't fancy, it's a quick eat, in and out type of restaurant. There's no waiter service so don't expect that. There's plenty of room to sit and eat there if you so desire. Their menu isn't large but it's got some really good salvadorean staples. This is not a white washed experience, it's the real deal. I travel far to come here, about 45 minutes to be exact. And I'm always pleased. It remind me of my moms cooking. So glad I brought home pan dulce to have with my coffee in the mornings!

The health inspector needs to make a visit to place. I still question why I went through with my entire order then consumed a good majority of my meal before finding remanence of hair in it. A long black strand of hair in my dipping salsa. No one knew English behind the counter. A woman who had placed a previous order before me graciously offered to translate my order to the cashier. I usually prefer only a cup of water vs buying a bottled water. The cashier made it known that they did not offer cups of water. I opted to try one of their fountain drinks. It was explained to me that the drink was a native fruit drink to Mexico. I don't remember what it was called. Anyway when she gave me a sample of the fruit drink in a small cup, it had what looked like a small gnat floating around in it. I showed it to the lady who has been translating for me, then I showed it to the cashier. I just decided to get the bottled water. I ordered two cheese pupusas. All is fine until I found the black hair. By this point I was almost done with my meal. I ended up showing it to the cashier, and she just looked at me like 'what do you want me to do?' I turn back around and through the rest of my meal away.I went to the restroom which was seemingly clean until I went over to wash my hands. The soap dispenser was broken. As a replacement, they put a bowl of dishwashing liquid. You would reach your hand into the bowl to retrieve some soap and wash your hands that way. This seems incredibly unsanitary to me. Not to mention I also thought that was an extremely cheap way of saving money. Could you really not go to the CVS across the street and get a hand soap dispenser for a dollar? I'll never be making my way into here ever again. I don't think I really need to elaborate any further.

'Panaderia,' as we all know, means 'panda bear viewing' in Spanish. But they also have lots of baked goods. I'm a huge bakery fan, so when I wandered by La Panaderia de Paris I had to wander around and check it out, then eventually went back two days later to buy some things. The items they had in stock fluctuated pretty significantly between my visits - not sure if they sold out or just have rotating stock. Even with that they had a pretty good variety of Mexican pastries and breads...which I'm not all that familiar with in the first place. I got a few basic galletas and guayabas and they were delicious. And a good price at about ~$0.50 a piece. Not sure why it's called "...de Paris" - I didn't see any croissants, baguettes, or any "French" bread other than bolillos which is a pretty standard Mexican staple.

Wish I could give them zero stars.. the employees were extremely rude while my husband and I asked them questions about the food options and they stared at us like we were idiots. And it wasn't a matter of language barrier, my husband and I both speak fluent Spanish. After we ordered I saw one of the women gossiping about us to another employee and they were both laughing. Extremely rude and the food wasn't even good. Save your time and money, do NOT go there.

Sorry, wish I could give this place more but it wasn't all that I expected with a name like that. It was your typical Latin American bakery with baked bread and mediocre desserts.

I like visiting pastry places and when I saw this one I wanted to check it out. It is pretty spacious, a lot of chairs, but it doesn't seem that popular, it was empty when I went there. The name of the restaurant means "the bakery of Paris" but it has nothing close to french style. It's a typical, not well maintained, latin place. I've definetly seen way better latin places that offer baked good and food. They have a lot of baking goods and cakes, they all look pretty good, and the ones I bought, a few breads, they tasted good. The prices are fair. The environment though, it didn't feel clean, even though it wasn't messy. Would I eat here? Mmhh not really, but definetly a place to get something quick like an horchata, the horchata was great! I didn't taste the food, just went for the baked goods, but the place itself doesn't encourage to try more, maybe if they have a more friendly staff? My experience was ok.

I normally don't complain about anything but, during this time is mandatory to wear a face masks and not even employees are using them. I understand that customers need to remove them while eating but employees either don't wear them at all or have under their chin. I was able to see how an older man that was working there was literally cleaning his nose and his face mask under his chin and didn't even bother to wash his hands.
