Italian restaurant in Olive Garden-esk digs.I came here for their ~$35 weekend breakfast buffet with my GF and her sister. The buffet had a solid spread and the food was all very fresh and delicious. The buffet spread included ample breakfast and lunch foods, a desert bar, an omelet station, and a pasta station. There was one guy who was manning all of these stations + making pancakes & waffles (which were only made on request as opposed to being pre-made), but this was fine because there weren't too many people when we went as it was Super Bowl Sunday. This being said, I could foresee a staffing shortage here leading to longer wait timesA mimosa or OJ is also included. I got an OJ and it was expectantly straight from a bottle, but I was still bummed it wasn't more freshOur waitress was nice, but kind of socially awkward

La Fiamma Italian Kitchen can go straight to hell for ruining our anniversary dinner. I would have loved to have pictures of delicious food, wonderful compliments on the service, and other nice things to share, but we didn't get the opportunity to even sit down. On Thursday, we made a dinner reservation at 7pm for 2 on Friday. We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes early. We checked in with the clusterf*ck host, waited to be seated until 7:18pm and then we left. Apparently there were NO AVAILABLE TABLES FOR PEOPLE WITH RESERVATIONS. Why even have a reservation system if you can't keep reservations? This was supposed to be our anniversary dinner followed by a movie at 8:10pm. We were ignored after check in by your braindead hosts and then we get a note that they cancelled our reservation. Thanks for nothing, GO TO HELL.A message to all those considering dining here: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME-- SEEK DINNER ELSEWHERE!!! Total garbage.

My family of three and another family of two dined last night (on a Thursday) for dinner. It was all of our first time at the restaurant, as we came on a recommendation of my neighbor who raved about it and its kids area. It took a few minutes to be seated and then 10-15 minutes went by and no server came to the table so I went up and asked for assistance. They do have a dedicated kids room with a large screen tv in it, kid sized tables and chairs, some crayons and paper, and tinted glass so you can see from the dining room into the kids room. There is a woman that comes in from time to time to help the kids but her tone was defensive when she asked the kids for their drink order and I told her we had ordered them at our table with our waiter. She said "Well, I could have gotten drinks for them sooner but, whelp, you already ordered with your server." Okay, we had no idea. No one was in the room when the kids entered. Then, later, she stopped in the room and my friend was working to change the movie on the tv because it was scary to my son. Granted it was Moana but he doesn't like it and there weren't any other kids in the room but his friend. The woman tried to argue with my friend that Moana isn't scary. Seriously, lady? My kid is scared, so let's change it since no one else is in the room but his friend. The bread rolls brought to the table were yummy with the olive oil parmesan dip. Our food finally arrived, the kids first, thankfully. We ordered two side Casear salads without croutons and they both came with croutons we had to pick off. My friend and I both ordered the Tour of Italy. She thought it was good and I thought it was fine. She had ordered a red wine but it was never delivered to the table. My husband ordered the salmon and he said the sauce was so salty he wouldn't eat it - he ate the salmon alone. The service was super slow, as I've read in other reviews. The woman in the kid's room gave the kids ice cream without asking the parents - which was nice and all but she should check with the parents. The final kicker was when she decided to pack up my son's chicken tenders and fries using her bare hands to transfer them piece by piece to the take out container. That is unsanitary. Please use a fork or other clean utensil to do it or let the parents do it. We ended up leaving the leftovers on the table and I hate to waste food. She then brought the leftovers to the wrong table and they had to tell her it wasn't theirs. For our family of three, with 2 adult entrees @ $26 each, 2 side Caesar salads @ $6 each, one kid's meal, 20% tip, and tax, it came to $93. Quite pricey for what it is. Great concept for the kids room but overall it just isn't for us. We won't be returning.

I never knew this place existed, but it's definitely a hidden gem worth visiting! With a menu featuring a wide variety of Italian dishes, there's something for everyone. Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick to accommodate our requests. And while it might seem like a small detail, the complimentary bread and olive oil were absolutely delicious--such a delightful start to the meal.We began with a shared plate of fried calamari, which was perfectly crispy and paired wonderfully with the marinara sauce. As someone who can be a bit indecisive, I appreciated the "Tour of Italy" option--it's a sampler that includes Chicken Parmesan, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Lasagna. While it wasn't the absolute best I've ever had, it was hearty and satisfying. My only critique would be the presentation of the lasagna; it was served in a small dish that made it tricky to cut and eat comfortably.Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is quite spacious. It's ideal for large parties or families, with private rooms available for special gatherings. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some Italian comfort food, this is a great place to check out!

What a great find! While visiting a friend in the area, we found this spot online. We weren't disappointed! They have ample parking outside, and the establishment was nice, spacious, and clean. They had a lot of great dishes on the menu, and what we ordered was delicious! It came out in no time. Our server and the rest of the wait staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure everything was ok. And the food was also reasonably priced for the amount we ordered. A great place to dine in or even order from that I recommend to others!

We were in town visiting my mother in law and she wanted to take us out for italian! We had a little hiccup with our reservation but it wasn't an issue because they were able to make up for it and find a seat for us that worked great! Saturdays are apparently their parents night out and have a play room with a nanny so it was a little crazy. We sat in the bar room which worked out just fine for us. We ordered calamari and mozzarella sticks for appetizer. They were very good! Our table ordered the fettuccini alfredo, ravioli do carne, chicken parmigiana, a la fiamma pizza, and pasta pescattore. Everything was very good! The fresh fettuccini was awesome! I would recommend getting fresh every time!

A bunch of family was in Alexandria to celebrate our niece's one-year old birthday. . Anyway upon looking at different Italian dinner places we decided to go here. There were over 10 of us. We ordered family style dishes as we are from Hawaii and love our food. Anyway our service was extremely smooth and the woman had a smile on her face the entire time. Food was excellent and there was even a side room where our children went to eat their ice cream, etc. The lady in there was also so sweet! Most pleasant experience ever! If I go back to Alexandria, I will definitely go there again! Plus I know my niece and her family will make it one of their favorite places! Thank you everyone!

I wanted to like this place. I read all the good and bad reviews. Pizza kitchen service was very slow. The dining room was not full at all on this Friday evening. We didn't order an appetizer - just a pizza and calzone. After half an hour of waiting, my child received their pizza first and 15 minutes later my order shows up but it wasn't what I ordered at all. The server apologized for her mistake. When she came back with the calzone I ordered, I cut into it and it was cold. Not room temperature cold, but refrigerator cold - like the ingredients came straight out of the fridge and stuffed in the crust to bake for less than 5 minutes in the oven. I refused to eat it or order anything else. They offered free dessert to make up for our experience but by that time, we were ready to leave. I will not be returning.
