We did the Option A all you can eat for $33 per person and had a great experience. I hadn't been here in 5+ years and my experience made me miss eating here! The meats were all great quality, our favorites being the miso pork belly and spicy bulgolgi. It comes with unlimited meats, unlimited sauce, rice and veggies. The sauces were very good and one was unique and lemony. My memory had always been that you need a reservation, and this time we went for lunch right when they opened on a Sunday and we were fine without one. It started filling up around 2pm.

I enjoy Kogiya. The space is large, and the food is generally consistent. However, there have been times when the fatty brisket has been either leaner or fattier depending on the day. My favorite dishes are probably the spicy bulgogi and the kkot sal (if I want to splurge and get a fancier steak). They have a lot of servers running around, but on busy days you may need to keep an eye on the grill and cook the meat yourself to prevent it from burning since the staff can be spread a bit thin.Overall it is a solid Korean BBQ spot. It is exponentially better than Honey Pig in my opinion, but it does not quite match the quality and consistency of Meokja Meokja. That said, Kogiya is better for larger parties and late-night dining.

Came here with a big group since they offered reservations and I hadn't been here in a few years. Staff was attentive and food was good. Took a bit of time to get things started but once they did... everything happened so fast! Everyone who ordered cocktails enjoyed them and aside from AYCE there were a la carte options like ttukbokki that was super delicious and my friend even said the best he ever had! I probably should have sat in the middle of the table to help my friends that were more inexperienced with Korean bbq know what to do. But I ordered sides like the egg soufflé and some lettuce for wraps that seemed to help. Some of the meat was a bit fatty. But the marinated ones had good flavor and the chicken seemed to be everyone's favorite. Except me. I'm a brisket girl. The chairs were interesting that you could put your jacket and purse in it which was nice because it was a cold night and it kept everything organized and away from smelling like grilled meat. Would definitely go again!

Service is great. Quality of food is good. The banchan is yummy. My clothes smell like KBBQ even tho I stowed it away in the seat. The soybean soup and egg souffele were the unexpected stars of the show. We opted for brisket, soy garlic brisket and soy garlic pork. Brisket was a blank canvas to dip into sauces or pair with banchan. The soy garlic brisket was flavorful as was the fattier pork. We didnt order anything else. We should have replaced the rice with lettuce but my son loves rice. The potato salad is evil (it was delicious). $33 per person AYCE with option A.... not bad. Not good if you can't eat a lot.

The BEST all you can eat (AYCE) Korean barbecue in Northern VA. Best vale at $33 for Option A lunch (this was a weekday). My go to:1. Brisket. Thinly sliced. No marinade. Moist. Deeeeelish!!2. Pork Belly. Thick. No marinade. Yummmmy. 3. Egg soup (pardon for not knowing the name)Other meats - like chicken - are available already marinaded. Calling all Carnivores. Lol. Staff cooks right in front of you on the grill that's on the table. Awesome customer service. They kept the meats coming quickly. Complimentary unlimted sides: rice, veg, egg soup. Visit this small business. We'll be back.

Over ordered but worth it. We opted to not do AYCA to have higher quality meat and we're not disappointed. We added a corn cheese side which we finished and a bibimbop bowl - not needed, took to go. Solid rec from a KBBQ lover!

Great food quality (my favorites are the miso pork belly and the dakkalbi), but the fact that they don't have vents above the grill means you could have smoke blowing into your face during your meal, irritating your eyes and making your clothes smell. Because of this, I'm not sure if I'd go back.

We went here for a work Thanksgiving lunch and had a blast! The all you can eat is the perfect option to have with a big group without worrying about splitting everything up at the end. The banchan was perfect and each cut of meat hit the spot. I personally loved the soy garlic ribeye, the miso pork belly, and the spicy sliced pork.

Yes! Great meat and they cook it for you if you ask! The 3 of us were wondering if getting the 2-3 group meal would be enough if we were hungry. YES. We had leftovers. And the servers were friendly, the sides were plentiful and I loved the cuts of meat we chose ! Family friendly ambience and clean space! Would def return! Also well priced for the quality

Perfect place to come with a big group of people to truly chow down. Servers were fast and consistent with the banchan which i deeply appreciate. We got the baseline all you can eat, which provided plenty of meat options!! Would highly recommend this place and am sure i'll be back!
