Flavorful fried rice, but pricey...but GOOD!$28 for vegetable fried rice with one extra egg add ($2 extra) and 1 order of crab wontons (6 huge wontons).Veg fried rices was very flavorful - 5 starsCrab wontons were mostly cream cheese and bits of crab here and there. - 2.5 starsVery friendly staff!

Honestly not sure how this place is still in business. Their sushi menu is big BUT the quality of sushi is so bad. If you are someone who eats subsoil regularly, you will immediately notice difference. We ordered the rainbow, spicy tuna, spicy salmon, yellowtail and one other premium roll. It was all filler with very small amount of fish.Please dine elsewhere if you want quality sushi. The service was mediocre but the food was disappointing that we didn't end up finishing our food despite being hungry.

Came to Kisso on a Sunday night and was seated immediately since it was pretty empty when we arrived. The place filled up shortly after. It's a cute restaurant with trendy music, creating a nice vibe.Our waitress was attentive and helpful in answering our questions. I ordered hot sake and two rolls: the Angry Dragon and the Sassy Roll. I realized too late that I'm not a big fan of hot sake, so that was on me, but my friend enjoyed it!The rolls were delicious, especially the Sassy Roll--it really stood out. While the prices were a bit steep, the overall experience was worth it. I'd definitely come back!

Food was sooooo good and the service was fast. Our waiter took good care of us. The only thing I didn't care so much was the fact that the restaurant was kinda small so you are seated close to the people next to you. Other than that it was super good and I will be going back again.

Came by for lunch when we were staying at a hotel in Old town, and it was super close! We tried a bunch of different rolls, and some calamari which were fresh and delicious. I also tried their thai tea which was not very sweet, but still good. Overall id say their service for a busy Saturday lunch time was not bad. It was casual and we were seated fast. Id say price wise you can expect what you would typically for an area like this part of Alexandria; not cheap unless you want very easy or quick eats. Best rolls to try hands down- Godzilla with an honorable mention to the dragon roll which was super fresh.

Pretty solid experience with couple of flaws. If Yelp would allow to give half stars,this would be definitely 3.5. Place is nice,was really busy for Monday night.Despite that service was prompt and professional. Comfortable chairs and not loud for busy night. Size of rolls were generous, with subtle amount of rice and a nice amount of fish. Fish was fresh,rolls were not very creative,but I love Tricolor roll and king crab roll were favorites. Rice was not properly seasoned,even texture was right and temperature was perfect, but rice seasoning is very important part of sushi experience . Also,I think they use only spicy mayo as a sauce, which makes them similar.

This is a great walkable and accessible casual Asian restaurant. The sushi is always great and they have a few different entrées and appetizers to choose from as well. The service is no frills and put straight to the point, but we're always pleased once we visit. Specials as well!

Surprisingly, good food. Really fresh and delicious food and an extensive menu. Usually, that would worry me, but this restaurant pulled it off.Sandy made the night so special. I got the Sashimi deluxe and every was so fresh the sushi just melts in your mouth. The best sushi restaurant I've ever been to in the dmv. The food came out fast and the presentation was everything

Let me start by saying I order from rather frequently and everything always goes smoothly. Today was the first time anything has gone wrong. When you order online you get a text saying that your food will be ready within 25 minutes and then a follow up text when its ready for pickup (usually 20 mins). Today I got the first text but never received the 2nd one even after an hour so decided to go check. My food was ready but the "Come get your food text was just never sent. Food was unfortunately cold...Besides the above this place is great and I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for various low priced Asian dishes.
