King Pollo

Came to pick up an order, no wet floor signs!!!! I fell and had a nasty fall. All they did was ask if I was ok, doesn't even proceed to mop the area or place a sign after the fall

Stopped by with a friend after seeing that they were open despite the fact that it was Christmas Day. I ordered 1/2 chicken dark meat, yucca, & rice and beans so I'd have plenty to eat then and leftovers for later. the guy didn't seem particularly happy to be there but I've been coming here for years and he never does so... lolbut the food is good and it's cheaper then expensive ass Sardi's lol

I swear I've been here before forgot about it and had deja vu a la Teena Marie....In a shopping center in New Carrollton, can't say that it is easily seen from the road. Kinda off to the end of the strip.Parking is good for the area.Once inside, nothing to write home about. I take it that this is the kind of place that you come and get take out, not sit down.Various options from papusas, quesadillas amd the like. Pretty decent offerings and a slew of sides to choose from. On this date, I got the family deal; this consists of a whole blame chicken, two large sides, and four canned sodas. This is all for the price of 19.95 folks. I thought this was a pretty dope deal. Here in lies my problem....most of the sides looked as though they had been forgotten about. The yucca fries were looking lonely under that lamp as were those thick 'ol plantain slices. The mixed veggies were gone and the yams looked as though they had seen better days. The sides that I decided upon: rice/beans which by the by counted as TWO sides. Um, where they do that at? Who eats rice without thee black bean......anywho, I digress and I got the greens. The chicken was good, but was a little dry IMHO. But the addition of the green sauce, pico, and those yummo pickled (I think) onions helped it out immensly. The greens were a bit underseasoned for my liking and even with the green spice needed more hot sauce to pep them up.How can one mess up thee black rice and bean? Regardless, you get a crap ton of food for a nice price. Pick your sides wisely and make sure you get the sauce (pico and onions) to pep up your plate!

Just ate there with my hubby . My chicken was under cooked. They were nice enough to switch it out for another piece. That one was also inedible . My husband tried to prove it was good and took a bite out of it only to rush to the bathroom 10 minutes later and throw it all up.Steamed vegetables straight from a freezer bag. Overly salted rice. Not great.

Food was not good, even side items like the rice and beans were cold when I just got them. The beans had no flavor and were undercooked, the rice had no flavor and was clumpy and cold. This is not what Peruvian chicken is suppose to taste like, it shouldn't be overcooked and dry. Seasoning on the chicken was terribl. The green sauce had some kind of weird aftertaste like it had gone bad and the yellow sauce tasted mostly like mayo. The quesadilla was the worst of all, just looking at it in the box you wouldn't even want to give that to your dog. My boyfriend tried a bite and said the meat tasted like it had gone rancid. This was a complete waste of my time and money. Ordered online and when I got there they had no idea an order had been done, I can forgive that because I am not sure how good their system of notifying them about orders is but the food is unforgivable and I can't believe a place is able to serve the trash that we received. I felt disgusted after trying to eat some of this. Maybe they didn't care because it was close to the end of the night but if you can't have good quality then close then don't serve and close the store.

This restaurant has become the worst it has ever been. I've visited through multiple ownership changes, and it has never been as bad as it is now. Since turning into a bar/restaurant, the quality of the food has plummeted. It used to be a family-friendly place, but now it's not. I even saw a family get thrown out in the middle of the day, which is unbelievable. If you want a good meal and a pleasant experience, go elsewhere.

Beware of this place! King Pollo in New Carrollton gives customers weeks old meat. The government should shut this place down. Disgusting. I just got my food and it's spoiled meat. I am filing a food safety report with Consumer Affairs in Maryland.

Worst type of customer service you will ever find, I came in waited 15 minutes to see anyone show up even after I called out to see if there was someone working, when 2 workers finally came out they completely ignored me. There are many times I've come here before but the workers are always rude and unhelpful, the food is amazing but the service is terrible. I hope they get this fixed.

If there is a zero point to give this place, I will be happy. The worst rotisserie chicken place ever. Please fire your whole staff, but most importantly the chef. The food is bland, cold, and yuca is undercooked. I have been here before and hated the food, but since it was snowing today I was looking for the closet Rotisserie chicken place and when king Pollo showed up, I did everything to find another place but they were close, and by default I settled for this place thinking things has changed. What a disappointment, this place should close.

I got some rotisserie chicken last night from them and not only was the chicken pink but the Mac and cheese was terrible, the only thing that was actually edible was the rice and beans. I tried calling the store 4 times this morning and no answer. I've been sick all night! Never eating here again!! If I could, I would give this place negative 5 stars!!
