A good bar for dancing and drag shows. The outdoor decks allow for a nice place to relax and socialize when the weather is nice. Drinks are nothing special but it is more of a club so my hopes were not high. Recently they have partnered with events organizer Alphabet Soup for a few events and I appreciate that they are trying to draw in a more diverse crowd.

I'll be forth right I come here for trivia so this is not really for a night club vibe. Trivia is great and will keep coming here. Prices I'm not sure about the first night having two double vodkas and soda and a happy hour pitcher came out to 90 bucks and the next week ordered like 7 drinks and a pitcher with a larger group and the bill was 60.... Thus taking a star off. Other than that have liked coming here and service has been good.

My Kiki experience was pretty short because I visited at the end of the night that involved plenty of cocktailing prior to arriving at Kiki. Overall, I liked what I saw and definitely will return to gain a better perspective. For the most part, the staff was pretty friendly and warm. Also, the clientele was pretty diverse in terms of race, ethnicity, sexutal orientation and gender. The bar has multiple levels with different flair on each floor. For me, the bar (or is it more of a club?) noise levels were fine. Yes, the music was loud, but it was not so loud that you had scream speak to talk with you companions. Since I've lived in NYC for some time, I thought the drinks were decently priced. Even if the drinks might be overpriced for some, the cocktails (in my case, gin soda with a splash of cranberry) were quite strong.

I personally LOVE Kiki! The bartender, Keith, he's absolutely amazing and super cute! He made the best drinks that were affordable and not weak! Why? Because we are not weak bitches at the Kiki! Okurrr? Anyway, the dance floor was super cute and I danced with a group of lesbians so this place is super inclusive to to the LGBTQIAPK community! And yes those are the letters including the + symbol. Moral of the story, I'm from Baltimore and I traveled down here to party and try a new location and I didn't want to pay $20 to get into nellies and this cute bar was right across the street and I'm thankful I stumbled across it. I will definitely be back! Let the games begin!*I was not drunk while writing this review, I was just really happy

a favorite gay bar of mine in dc! it's kind of maze inside, there's lots of levels and 'sections', which i love about it! there's a very fun spot to dance, loads of room outside if the weather is nice, and some sections with more chairs if you want to sit at all. there's also always something going on! they usually have some kind of daily special (like sundays there's usually $5 deep eddy's drinks) and always some kind of event happening! the drinks are also very cheap (usually like $6 for a rail mixed drink) and the bartenders are so fun and so kind!! it's a great vibe and always a good time there!

Came here for a night out and it was ok. It was really stuffy and hot/humid from so many people in there. The music was eh and not much space to dance

I love this bar. The bartenders are fantastic. The drag shows are SO fun. However. Please replace the speaker in the back patio. The static is unbearable. I'd love to listen to the music and hear the emcee during the drag show but I cant hear a word :(

Kiki Club on U St. - Racial Profiling and Unacceptable BehaviorI am absolutely appalled by the treatment my friend and I experienced at Kiki Club on U St. As two Black gay men, we were not only racially profiled but also physically mistreated by the bouncers at the door. Despite being regular patrons of this club, we were denied entry while three Latino and white individuals were let in right in front of us. When we politely questioned this unfair treatment, the bouncers justified their actions by saying those individuals were "different." This excuse was not only insulting but blatantly discriminatory. What made this experience even worse was the fact that the bouncers--who were also Black--put their hands on me and physically pushed me out of the way, even though I was calmly and respectfully showing my ID. The disrespect, both racial and physical, was beyond anything I've ever experienced, especially in what is supposed to be a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community.I left feeling humiliated, disrespected, and betrayed by an establishment that I once supported and enjoyed. It's disheartening to see such divisive and discriminatory behavior within our own community.I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting this venue until they address their discriminatory practices and take accountability for their staff's unacceptable behavior. We deserve safe, inclusive spaces where everyone is treated with dignity and respect--not places like Kiki Club, where racial profiling and physical aggression are tolerated.

So I've been here on a number of occasions and it was great. But something really weird happened last weekend when I went there with a group of friends. So we were literally inside for a total of like 3 minutes and next thing I know the bouncers were kicking us out. Because they said one of my friends was drunk. The one getting us kicked out literally had two shots in the last two hours. I know because I bought them for her. They're either heterophobic or sexist here.
