THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I was visiting DC for work when I was reccomended this place by a customer. This place was so hard to find that I almost gave up to go to any other vietnamese spot since there was so many of them in the area. I'm so glad I didn't.This is by far one of the best vietnamese foods I had in the states. They didn't have much on their menu, but that's also good because that means what they do have is what they specialize. My bf ordered bun ho hue and I ordered bun rieu. We ate each half way and swapped. Loved the broth for both of them, so rich, the crab in bun rieu was really tasty as well

An absolute hidden gem I have been here countless of times throughout the years since my sister introduce me to this hole in the wall, Vietnamese Restaurant in Eden Center. I have had numerous of their Vietnamese noodle soup here, and I cannot describe how well this restaurant had nailed every single one. They are so authentic and every one of their broth is so rich and flavorful. One of the absolutely best authentic Phở in Virginia. Also a very easy place to be in and out if you're in a hurry. They always bring out my soup pretty quickly after ordering.

I'm a 41 year old Vietnamese guy who was born and raised in the DMV. It's safe to say I've eaten at just about every pho restaurant in Northern VA. As of June 2023, there's none that comes close to Kien Giang Quan. This gem, located in the popular Eden Center in Falls Church is the undisputed king.Like many of the businesses in Eden, KGQ is cash only. I know... who carries cash anymore? I do...when I'm going to KGQ! This place is amazing. Usually, when people ask what is the best place to get XXX. People say you have to go to a certain restaurant because that's their claim to fame. At KGQ, it's more than that. Hands down, the best beef pho in the DC area. Their broth is so flavorful and their meats and noodles are cooked to perfection every time. I go here often with my roommate and every single time we go, he considers ordering two bowls...that's how good it is.As if being the best beef pho in the DMV wasn't good enough, I'm going to go ahead and say that KGQ also has the best bun bo hue in the DC area. This spicier cousin of pho has a more robust flavor in my opinion and is actually my favorite Vietnamese dish. It's my go to order every time I go to KGQ.Having the best beef pho and bun bo hue would probably be enough for just about any pho restaurant, but KGQ takes it even a step further. I think they're chicken pho (which btw, I normally don't order as a beef pho purist) is actually fantastic as well. Reminds me of what my mom used to make when I was a kid.All in all, if you want pho (beef or chicken) or bun bo hue, you need to go to KGQ. It might just ruin all other pho restaurants for you once you do.The only negative about this restaurant aside from only accepting cash is they specialize in noodle soup. There's no spring rolls, summer rolls, or any other appetizers here. But trust me, you don't need it. And if you're really hungry, just be like my roommate and order 2 bowls.

Yum!! This place is so good! It's unassuming from the outside, so I normally would walk right by. Was brought here by some coworkers during lunch break and the bun bo hue here is so good. A bowl will set you back about $14, but the broth is flavorful, a little sweet, a little savory, and a nice balance of spicy. It won't leave you sweating and sniffling like some others will. The portions are generous and I was definitely stuffed and ready for an afternoon nap! They also provide an iced tea instead of water which was nice, light, and refreshing. I'll definitely be back for more bun Bo hue and maybe to try some other dishes!

Food was good. I've eaten here twice now and both time my stomach hurt. The customer service is not ever good but it's kind of expected because rumor has it, the boss takes the tips. Store is old and needs to be remodeled.

The viet spot Here has been godsend. The bun bo hue was amazing, really reminded me of home. The flavors are very well blended. The menu was small but I think they focused on what they do best. Would visit again.

the owners of the place are so rude. the only nice person was the hispanic server making sure I was okay. as for the owner, they threw my card when checking out and ask why I didn't tip. I told them no as tipping is OPTIONAL. they kept looking at me like I was going to change my mind and asked why and simply responded no. fortunately, the food is actually nice but they are terrible people. don't waste your time giving them your money if they don't even respect their paying customers. they have to do better so they can earn a tip.

**Warning: Do Not Come Here!**I have been to this place to eat three times. The food is decent and suits my taste. However, the owner and staff are terrible and disrespectful to customers. I know they are a family, but that does not excuse their lack of respect. The first time I went, I left with a 15% tip for two meals. The second time, when paying, the owner asked me, "Do you want to tip?" I know tipping is optional, not mandatory, so I replied that I had left cash tips on the table. I found it very rude to ask such a question.Today was the last time I will come here. When I sat down, the table smelled bad, and the sauce bowl still had remnants of dish soap. The portion was also smaller compared to before (I usually have Bun Bo Hue). I know they prefer cash because it helps them avoid taxes, so I paid in cash.I was already unhappy with the owner's attitude from the previous visit, so I did not leave a tip this time. As Im waiting for the owner to take the money, the waiter came up and whispered to him that I did not leave a tip. After paying the exact amount and turning to leave, the owner called me back and asked, "Why didn't you tip?" I replied that tipping is a optional. The waiter yelled at me, "don't come back, just get takeout." As I walked away, the owner yelled, "Don't come back!"I am very disappointed!

The owner treated me very poorly. I ordered two chicken rice dishes and specifically requested that both include legs. However, this request was not honored. When the order arrived, only one plate had a leg. When I inquired about this, he informed me that I couldn't have both legs, because 1 CHICKEN HAS ONLY 2 LEGS.I explained that if accommodating this request was not possible, he should have informed me upfront. I am more than willing to pay extra for such modifications. By not communicating this beforehand, it appeared as though my request was unreasonable and without merit.Due to this unprofessional behavior, I will not be returning to this restaurant. Additionally, my friends have also had negative experiences with this owner.
