Kaldi's is definitely one of my favorite coffeeshops. It's pretty spacious, but there have been many times I wasn't able to find a seat, especially on weekends. I've never been disappointed by the food and drinks. They give you a pretty decent amount of food, so I'll say it's worth the price. I used to come here for happy hour and their upstairs lounge back in the day, but I'm not sure that still goes on. I remember the drinks being a pretty reasonable price as well.

Consumer BEWARE, If you have allergies DO NOT eat here. My partner & I had the disappointing experience of trying this restaurant for the first time today (02/08/25).Before we made our order, I went to the bar to ask a question about the Chicken & Waffles. At the bar there was a man at the main register (the manager), a woman making coffee, & a woman on the secondary register. I walked up to the woman in the middle & told her that I had a question about the chicken & waffles ... it says it comes w/ spiced maple syrup, do they know what the syrup is spiced w/. The woman looked confused & was like it's spiced? I didnt know it was spiced & instead of turning to her left to ask the manager, she turned to her right & asked the other woman. The other woman was like spiced? Oh it's the apple spices & I clarified that my girlfriend has a red chili pepper allergy, are they sure it doesn't have chili powder & they were like ya just apple spices.Being assured that dish is allergen free, we ordered the chicken & waffles. My partner tried the food & immediately noticed a strange tingling feeling on her tongue. The syrup was just plain maple syrup & the chicken had a spice flavor to it that wasn't "apple spices", concerned my partner walked up to the same lady I walked up to & asked if she could speak w/ the manager to get some clarification & the woman pointed to the man. My partner asked if there were any red chili pepper spices on the chicken & he said yes. My partner was surprised & responded that her partner asked about the spices in this dish & he said, no she just asked about the syrup. My partner came back to the table upset, saying we needed to leave & that the food actually had her allergen in it. I was confused bc I asked if there was Chili powder in it.I tried to seek clarification, I called over the manager & told him I asked if this had chili powder in it & he said I asked if there are spices in the maple syrup. I responded that only the maple syrup had the "spicy" descriptor on it & the manager replied, well it says the item is glazed & I was like okay, but my girlfriend is allergic to chili powder ... which is why I asked. He said bc of this misunderstanding, he can either refund or replace this item. I asked my partner what she wanted. She didn't want a replacement bc she did not trust that they'll take allergies seriously & that she wanted to be completely refunded bc they were being too cavalier about inadvertently poisoning her.I went back to the register & told the manager that I was sorry but we would like a full refund bc my girlfriend is allergic to the chicken you served us even though we asked if there were allergens. I told him he should talk to his employees about whenever a customer asks about an ingredient on a menu item, they should seek clarification from a manager. He argued that I didn't ask about the right thing, bc I only asked about the maple syrup & the spice is in the glaze. I was clearly asking about an allergen - it doesn't matter if you thought I was just asking about the syrup or the glaze or the breading on the chicken.I responded that this is a preventable situation but now my girlfriend is going to get sick & we would like a full refund. When I told my partner what happened, she was annoyed that the manager was victim blaming us by telling me we didn't ask the right questions & that we were misunderstood the menu. My partner took a second glance at the online menu, & wanted to show the manager that it would be easy for a customer to misinterpret that the spices are in maple syrup & that nobody would know to ask if it was in the glaze & the manager was like you're being too much, I already refunded you, you're being too much.My partner tried to reiterate that she has an allergy & it's dangerous to not take allergies seriously. He cut her off saying if she actually had an allergy she would have an EpiPen. To which my partner cursed & stormed out.

I liked the coffee and loved the ambience of this place. The latte was solid. Not scalding hot, a touch of foam, and strong solid flavor with balanced milk. I thought they would add stevia but it was at the table. No biggie. Everyone seemed to be ear hustling everyone else's conversations. This was definitely the place where you overheard some interesting things. People watching was good too. I definitely got a sense of people's struggles or lack thereof by the types of bags they were carrying. It was a little early for lunch and I was pressed for time. Also, my food allergies seemed to take baked goods off the table. Unfortunately, the baked goods did not leave me longing. I saw a heavy crumbly pale, yellow brick that appeared to be and was stated to be pound cake. it looked Mojave-desert dry. It looks like the food might be decent so I will try that next time. I could dig this place for the coffee and coffee tawk alone. Need to come back and reassess!

We came here with our friend and our baby. It is such a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy coffee/ tea and some good food. The atmosphere is amazing. We came here for brunch and I ordered chicken and waffle, a croissant, a zucchini bread. Everything is quite delicious. My husband got an açaí bowl and he loves it very much. I would definitely come back again to try more bakery goods. There is a phone ordering service which is so convenient. I cannot wait til our next meet up with friends here :)

I love Kaldi's! Such a great atmosphere for small meetings, studying/work, or even a date. I have been periodically going for years, but finally decided I should review because I forgot how delicious the breakfast sandwich is! I'm a pescatarian so I got it without any meat, but it was so good even without. I think it's the crisp of the cheese.I also got the strawberry fields smoothie- love the fresh strawberry topping and the slight thickness from the almond butter. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was due to the wait being a little long (but reasonable) and for the upcharge if I had gotten plant-based meat...but again, the sandwich was delicious as is!

I decided to have a breakfast affair while visiting, and instead of going to Parkway Deli I elected to have a meal at Kaldi's. The space is very hipster but in the best ways possible. Ordering is through a QR on the table. Service was pleasant. The staff was efficient. My over easy egg was more of an over hard than easy, but the food was delicious overall. The dirty chai was divine. Glad I stopped in. Parkway will always be bae, but if I need variety this place is where I'll go.

My family and I chose this place to meet up with a friend who lives in town. It was a Sunday so there was free parking on the street of the restaurant. My friend was able to easily find us a seating area and the tables had QR codes for accessing the menu and ordering. We were able to order and pay online which was very convenient. The food came out within a decent amount of time and everyone seems to like the dish that they ordered.

Pretentious coffee shop vibes but good food and fast service. If you need to work, it's probably too noisy for zoom but the tables have a good amount of space around them and there are power outlets. I had chicken tacos, which were excellent and the other food all looked pretty great.

You can order at your table and the food comes out hot and fresh. There's plenty of space for everybody and the people who work there are really nice. Enjoyed our little visit here.

Went to Kaldi's today to get the Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie French Toast listed on the web site. Not only were they NOT available when we arrived, the menu was COMPLETELY different than listed online, and the waiter said they don't make gluten free French Toast because it's not good. I ordered gluten free waffles and was handed waffles by the waiter. I asked if they were gluten free because I'm allergic to gluten and he said they were. They were NOT. They were the standard waffles that someone else in our party ordered. When he brought the second plate of waffles, I asked again. He assured me the new plate was gluten free. I can't be certain, because they looked exactly the same as the others. Won't be returning.
