Had lunch at this food truck and wouldn't be quick to go back. The service was friendly but I ordered the gyro salad and was pretty underwhelmed.First of all, the salad was mostly lettuce and VERY little of everything else. There was barely any feta cheese on it and maybe two tomato slices. The gyro meat was pretty standard but was greasier than the gyro meat I'm used to eating. The sauce wasn't bad but how can you really ruin tzatziki/yogurt sauce.Probably wouldn't go here again.

We spent a day on the Mall in DC visiting some of the museums. It was a sunny, crisp November day so we decided to catch lunch from one of the food trucks parked there. Now understand. There are about two dozen trucks to pick from so how do you pick? Well Kabobish was handing out some free samples! Tasted good so we were in!Two great gyro type sandwiches with lots of meat and a very tender pita.

(2.5 stars) The food here is alright and similar to that which you would get at a mediocre gyro restaurant. I don't think it compares favorably to other Greek food trucks and given the high number of such trucks, I doubt that I will revisit this one. I ordered the gyro with rice, which was ~$9 and came with a decent amount of food. The gyro itself was the best part of the meal. It was actually pretty good, not the best food truck gyro, but it had some flavor and a nice crisp texture. The yogurt sauce was good but unmemorable, and the hot sauce was unnoticeable (although that may just be because it didn't come with much). The most egregious issue with the dish though was the rice. It was literally just white sticky rice and could not have been any more bland. It actually detracted from the quality of the gyro meat. Once the gyro meat was gone, I had no desire to finish the rest of it. Even when mixed with the yogurt sauce, the rice was still a disappointment.

ordered the chicken kabob salad. the cucumber was soggy and had that weird water-ish looking ring on the outside edges that only happens when its gotten old. The chicken was *loaded* with black pepper and barely warmer than room temperature. Canned corn was put on the salad, which was odd and not in the picture presented on the outside the truck. There was only one onion and the iceberg lettuce was wilted. I am not a picky eater but I am a fan of fresh food. This place was terrible.

had the chicken platter w/rice, salad. As some others have stated, the salad was just lettuce, with cucumber slices, bits of feta cheese, bits of red onion, two slices of tomato. No salad dressing. The rice was fair, rather bland but hot. As far as the chicken, it was tasty, but rather dry.

I got the gyro sandwich from this food truck yesterday. The food itself was probably a 3--not bad, but nothing special. Portion size was pretty large. The service was quick and the guy working there was very friendly, so I'm bumping it up to a 4.

Do not buy anything from this truck. The chicken is overcooked, flavorless and has a disgusting aftertaste. Cold canned corn on the platter. Why? horrible ice burg lettuce. Flavorless sauce. Simply horrible.

Ordered the chicken kabob with salad, and for $10 it was a pretty sad attempt at a salad. Chopped iceburg lettuce, with a spoonful of canned corn and 4 tiny slivers of onion on the side. 4 pieces of chicken completed the meal. For $10, save your money and go elsewhere.
