Review for delivery only. I hadn't had Kabob Palace in several years but it was as good as ever. There was a large portion of lean perfectly cooked boneless chicken accompanied by a large fresh salad, chick peas and a large fresh piece of naan. I was hungry and it was still plenty of food for leftovers. This place has been around forever for a reason and I'll be back here again sometime.

Open 24 hours, the best halal food near the DCA airport. It's definitely a must go! Been around for decades and never fails to deliver on taste.Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the service. Twice now I've ordered ahead but it was a complete waste of time. It wouldn't be so frustrating if the guy taking the order was half decent (rotates so don't know the name). Basically, he just wanted to get me off the phone: hung up before even taking my name, never put a time on the ticket, order wasn't accurate, etc...I almost walked away when I got to the restaurant but one of the night shift folks understood my grievance and expedited the food order.Regardless, food wise, it's terrific but just be aware it's probably best to order at the counter. 3 stars because of the two terrible ordering experiences but quality of food is unmatched in the area so you won't be disappointed. Ambiance is decent, seating can be limited in rush hour.

A lot of reviews for this place and I can see why its a popular spot. my friends love this place because it does feel like you are in another country. I've lived in the area for a few years now and finally got to try it out. It opens late. You can tell its legit by the customers who eat here. The food is good and fresh and kabobs were good. They give a lot and they serve the food in the pan it was cooked in. I'm just not a fan of lamb so I'm not the best reviewer of this place. I did enjoy the curry with the potatoes, forget what it was called. Overall its a great place if you like kabobs and Afghan/Pakistan? food.

Our family loves Kabob Palace so much. We discovered this 24 hour place during the isolation period and we've gone at least every other week since then. The place is usually pretty busy during dinner hours. The chicken and beef kabob always taste very tender and juicy. The chick peas have a little spice to them. The spinach is flavored very well. Inside dining is an option but the parking lot is a little tight. Recommend visiting!

Kabob Palace is a reliable spot, especially for late-night cravings since it's open 24/7. The portions are generous, giving you plenty for the price. The staff is friendly, and while it's not a fancy dine-in spot, it's perfect for takeout. If you want hearty Afghan food any time of day, this place hits the spot.

Kabob Palace is a national treasure! I lived in DC for 6 years from 2015-2021, and I would come here often. The chickpeas are simply divine (and well-seasoned). The chicken kabobs are smokey and succulent. Even the salad was always crisp and packed with flavor. Nom nom. In addition to the food, the service was always top notch and the restaurant is oozing with character, from the stickers covering the walls to the rich diversity of patrons you'd find in line at the restaurant.

This place is 24/7 and it's known by locals as a staple for food that you can get late night. Walking in, there is a lot going on but don't let it intimidate you. There is a menu that you can glance over to order food. If you like dishes ranging from kabobs to biriyani or curry based dishes, this is a place for you. I got the palace combo 2 which came with kubideh and boneless chicken served with basmati rice and naan. You also get two sides and they scoop a lot for you too! I got chick peas and mixed vegetables. For the price you pay, this is definitely enough to feed two people for it's worth. The food may not look appetizing but it's quick, late night food doesn't discriminate here. If it tastes good, thats all that matters to me. Fortunately it delivers and I can see why it's still a place to go to after so many decades later.

HEALTH HAZARD!! Went in around 11pm on a weekday night and the place was slammed. I got the Boneless Chicken and Lamb Combo. The food took 30 minutes which allowed for plenty of time to notice the health hazards. Most of the food is touched with bare hands. You will notice them touching the register and money and then food with their bare hands. My personal favorite was when one of the guys wiped off his sweat, proceeded to pick his ear wax, then handle someone's bread. The food itself had bold flavors. The bread and side of sauce were really good. I would recommend asking for an extra one or two sauces per order. Overall, I wish they handled food properly as they would receive a higher rating.

Kabob Palace is hidden behind the slightly shady plaza in Crystal City. There is a lot of seating inside and you wait in line before ordering and paying. With 9 of us a couple Sundays ago, the food came out surprisingly fast and the portions were huge.CHICKEN KABOB (BONELESS) - 19 (post-tax)Again, the portions were massive. I chose chickpeas as my side/vegetable and there was a heaping amount of chickpeas on top of a very flavorful bed of rice. A small side of salad and a several pieces of juicy chicken breasts that have been charred and seared to perfection. I ate maybe half of it and was able to make two smaller lunches out of it the couple days after. This was such a good deal and the food was so delicious. Again, that chicken really be hitting and you can eat that rice on its own because its well-seasoned.I would highly recommend Kabob Palace. It is the best kabob restaurant I've had in Arlington so far.
