Am surprised how good it is here. Love Korean food. Even better when you can go into a grocery store, and then get a meal. The convenience factor alone is huge. In the northern Virginia area, time isn't always a luxury. That's why this appeals to me.Wonderful employees. You'll always feel welcome here. The barbecue chicken with kimchi works for me. It is delicious. Also you get generous portions here. That alone is a reason to stop in. Be sure to as I will be here tonight.

3.9/5 Had the jjajangmyun a couple of times. It's pretty good for it being a food court. The price currently is at $8.99 per bowl. It's definitely not gourmet like jangwon in centreville but it definitely will be the spot to go for a quick fix since it's so close to home. Their tangsuyuk was alright- it had a bit of a porky smell the recent time we went but hoping that was just a rare situation.

Who would've thought that one of the best Korean restaurants would be found right inside an H-mart?! If you're having one of those evenings where you just want some solid Korean food but not in the mood for anything in particular, come to Hmart. The selection is diverse and the food is fresh, plentiful, and you'll even kill two birds with one stone by getting groceries too.As for specifics, the hwedupbap is excellent and the jjolmyun is great too. They're both fresh and different even with the gochujang sauce, and I can't wait until I'm back to try some of their other menu items.

As always tasty Korean food with great prices!This time I end up trying the beef mandu soup.It was delicious. Great place for lunch or dinner.Also to take a break and finish writing my reviews.

Portion was large and really filling. Rice was cold and dry. Meat was highly seasoned but not very tasty on its own. Most likely won't go again.

So I haven't been to Seoul since 2006 but I have very fond memories of eating at the small hole in the walls there. So imagine my excitement at finding this place . I ordered my favorite Ojinga Bokeum and it was perfect... Not only that, they have a kimchi area for while I'm waiting for the food! . There's the required 4 varieties... Always considered this a must.. For a place to be called a real Korean place.I was hoping for the free rice and soup but I guess I was pushing my luck. I miss Korea already. This place is inside Hmart... So you'll have to go all the way in to find it... It's next to the bakery. Not sure how the other items on the menu was but... My bokeum was on point. I didn't see a sign that says BYOB. Check the photos.

Came here because I was told the food was good and left disappointed. Spicy cod fish soup was so salty that I added water to it, it was full of MSG, and had the worst parts of the fish like the head (where's the fish meat?). Spicy bibim naengmyun tasted straight up like sesame oil and no other flavor. Jajangmyun was horrible as well. Prices aren't even that cheap. Save your money and don't go here. Worst Korean food I have had in a very long time.

This used to be the place to go. They had amazing food for a very reasonable price. After the COVID, I think the owners changed? Not sure. The portion amount dramatically reduced and the price went up too much for what it is.I stopped going there. There are better Korean food joints that are cheaper with better portions. I knew it was going bad when they started asking for tip.

My go to Korean place when I don't feel like going to Annandale. Their fried dumplings, cold spicy buckwheat noodle, and shrimp kapangi are my go to orders. The staff are always kind and patient. They are fast and of course taste delicious.

BEWARE. COCKROACHES!!! were in my beef bone soup. It's most horrible experience i have ever had in my life. it's disgusting and unsanitary. Thinking of it makes me sick. This place should be inspected for health sanitation . I have been here before for lunch but NEVER again. YUCK!!!
