Really enjoyed my first experience ordering from June DC. The process was seamless and they're very communicative about the availability of their pies.Many of their pies sounded great and I eventually decided on the pepperoni , which came with fresh basil. While I'm normally a fan of thin crust pizza, I really LOVED how perfect the crust was for their pies. It was like a perfectly baked grain bread you'd buy for your toast and sandwiches. While the pie was overall great for $23, it was a bit too rich and salty for my palate. Their house made ranch was great at balancing this though. Amazing pizza. Insane, unique, fluffy crust with perfectly crisp edges, we usually give the crusts to the dogs but not a chance I was leaving any of this pizza. The pizzas have quality ingredients, flavors that work perfectly together, we ordered 1 pizza each (one red, one white) but were sad when we finished them. The ranch is incredible, and marinara is good too. Had the rice pudding dessert with mascarpone, lemon curd and blueberry jam which was also delicious. Another I wish I had ordered more of. Will definitely be ordering regularly from June going forward. Mad it took us so long to try them out,

Out of a rowhouse in Trinidad is the best pizza in Washington, D.C. Born out of the pandemic, two veterans of the D.C. food scene launched June DC, named after their daughter. While they wait to open a brick and mortar shop, they sell pizza out of their home every Friday. Here's why you must order from them:1) Pizza: Hands down the best pizza with the best crust I've ever had. The crust is thick and on point. They sell six different 8 by 10 pizzas. To feed three adults and one toddler, we ordered the Ramp, All Cheese and Pepperoni Deluxe. We ate and ate and had two pieces leftover! They are deceptively filling. They also sell sides, a dessert (rice pudding) and drinks. If you order a red pizza, get a side of the house made ranch. 2) System: It's easy to order online. You email them, pay via Venmo and they send you their address the day of pick up. Pick up times are every 30 minutes from 5-7pm on Fridays. If you love pizza, this is a MUST GO!

Bottom Line: we order pizza every week, and have tried many places across the DMV. This place is top tier - delicious pizza with a unique crust. Would definitely order again.Ordered two pizzas for two of us, and we had two slices left over. The crust is thick but soft with great flavor, and the bottom of the pizza has a nice caramelized taste too. We ordered two sides of ranch, which was great for crust dipping.The All Cheese white pizza was especially delicious - really yummy combination of cheeses with a nice sweetness from the honey drizzle. The Pepperoni was also solid. We especially liked the taste of the pepperonis.They run their operation out of a house in Trinidad. Check their website for instructions on how to order. Pizzas were ready when we arrived, and they were super nice too!

Untouchable, this is by far the best pizza in the DMV. Order in advance because they only have so many slots open to accommodate. Have gotten the pepperoni & the four cheese pizza and both were amazing. Also have tried the cocktails as well as the desert feature each week and both were awesome. Best take out experience since COVID started by far!
