I have been to Junction many times but this time was for a work happy hour. The manager on shift, Tracey, was delightful! So attentive and also working behind the bar. We had a large group and everyone loved the set up being semi-private and closed off. We had the tables with food on the backside of the area and was nicely tucked away for people to move around and still go sit or stand in the space. We got the cheese/meat platter, loaded tots, mojo quesadillas, mambo chicken sliders, crab cake sliders, Ruben egg rolls, and mini cubano sandwiches. Everything was hot and freshly made when we got there! My favorite was the Mojo quesadilla. I will absolutely be coming back to get that for a lunch or dinner option. I had the Natalie's Margarita and the Orange liquor they had in it was really tasty! Overall, this is a delicious place and has so many yummy choices for every meal. Highly recommend!

Overall no!I do not recommend going to this Bistro!Slow stuff, confused, two different price menus! They have raised their prices but some menus are still reflecting the old ones!Way too pricey for what they serve! Not going back.

On Labor Day, my family and I had a late brunch at Junction Bistro, Bar, and Bakery. Being a holiday, they didn't offer happy hour all day. We ordered at the counter and were given a number to place on our table. We had the option to sit indoors or outdoors. Since it was a nice day, we sat outdoors. I liked how most of the tables outdoors were shaded with an umbrella. For drinks, each of us enjoyed a glass of White Sangria. It was sweet, peachy, and refreshing. We shared two Tomato Rose Soup's, two Sesame Kale Salad, and one Vitality Citrus Salad. The Tomato Rose Soup consisted of slow cooked tomato with rosé and cream and garnished with shaved breadcrumbs. It's the best tasting Tomato Soup we had in the DMV. Both of the salads were healthy and hearty. Between the two salads, I liked the taste of Sesame Kale Salad a bit better. I think if Vitality Citrus Salad was dressed with a balsamic vinaigrette without the berbere, it would taste better.

Bistro, bar and bakery, what more do you need? This location is very nice and spacious on the inside. Great place to sit down with a coffee. It was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint, the customer service was great and very friendly. The menu here is very expansive with a breakfast, daily and brunch menu all on different times. They also have "all day" Happy Hour from 11am-8pm, Mon-Fri. The food all had great portions and was very tasty. I highly recommend the General Tso's Cauliflower.

Really beautiful space that had high ceilings plenty of seating options and vibe that felt very industrial but warm. I ordered their take on a Philly cheesesteak, but without the onions and sauce, and although the short rib was extremely tender, it definitely needed the sauce so would not recommend ordering without. I also think it maybe you would need the onions onions The fries were delicious, as was the ginger turmeric latte. My friend had the oatmeal and scrambled eggs and enjoyed those as well. Nice quick lunch outing, would recommend!

Although I only briefly stopped in - huge fan of this place so far! They have gluten free options (although no bread, which does make me sad), and the server was super friendly with customizing my drink (I wanted less syrup than normal). The ambiance is sooo cute - I feel like you could go here for multiple purposes: to eat/drink, to socialize, to work, to read, etc. I also feel like there was a lot of space! Although I'm not in the area super frequently, whenever I am, I now plan to stop in :)

I have been to junction many times for lunch. The food was always decent and tasty. However, I returned for happy hour today, and it was an absolute travesty. Neither me nor my friend could finish our food. We had the burrata, the tots and the burger. Save your money and go elsewhere, there are far better options in DC or downtown Bethesda.

This was my second time visiting Junction Bistro, the first time was a couple of years ago, just when they had opened. I liked the casual vibe of the place, with a marble bar and tables, and wood accents. It vaguely reminds me of some NYC casual restsurants, or maybe the Bistro in Paris. I am not a fan of the way the service works, wgmhich is order at the cash register, sit down and wait for the food (they give you a number). As a customer, I feel that the incentive of the few and very busy servers they have to give excellent service is somewhat reduced (when paying for the food, you are asked to give a tip, which in this type of restaurant set up is sort of counter intuitive (?). What am I tipping, exactly? The food (at least what I ordered) is serviceable, but not excellent. I ordered a "chorizo" burrito (the chorizo was spicy ground chicken, lacking the characteristic garlicky-paprika taste of either Mexican or Spanish chorizo) that also was overstuffed with guacamole, black beans, pico de gallo, american cheese(I think) and wrapped in a flour tortilla. The burrito was enoumous, but it distinctly lacked seasoning (salt, spices) and the ingredients' flavors were muted. It was served with a big portion of breakfast fries (freshly fried cubed potatoes, red peppers and onions) which were served hot, crispy and well seasoned; these were delicious. While I was eating, I asked the server for a glass of water and she pointed to me to the two glass containers with water (with or without lemons) for self-service, which is fine to me, but why am I tipping again, exactly? Finally, my opinion is that Junction Bar's food and very, very light service vis à vis their prices Has Room for improvement. Maybe having more servers on the floor, and better quality control and consistency of their food are areas of improvement for their offer.

I came here with my family on a brisk Saturday morning for brunch. You have to go to the counter to order but then they give you a number and bring the food to the table. There is a water and condiments station and you can sit wherever you choose. I enjoyed the open layout because I was able to take my kids outside while the rest of my party waited for our delicious grub. There were lots of patrons enjoying their lattes and all their orders looked amazing. We had the biscuits & gravy, chorizo burrito, and the cubano sandwich - all these dishes were flavorful and the portions were great. They also have a solid kids brunch menu - the buttered noodles and grilled cheese were totally what the kids wanted. Overall, the atmosphere was inviting and the food was well worth the visit
