Not the most amazing pizza of your life but exactly what you want when stumbling around in hunger after drinking in the middle of the night. In our stupor we were not prepared for the jumbo-ness of the slices and ordered too much. No frills, cheap big greasy sloppy pizza eaten by 6 drunk people while standing and hovering over one little table, good times lol

As a pizza-lover, I just knew I had to get a jumbo slice during a recent visit to DC. I get back from dinner and saw that Jumbo Pizza was only a mile away, muahaha! So I put my shoes back on and we are off... I head north on 14th street, pass all the bars and clubs and spy the Jumbo Pizza storefront. Totally empty at 10:30pm on a Thursday but I bet it will be busy in 2 or 3 hours! I order up a cheese slice ($6.78) from the grumpy guy up front and lickety split, he hands me over a cardboard box. Inside lies the BIGgest slice of pizza I've seen. It's definitely thin-crust, nicely covered with cheese and a light tomato sauce. Admittedly I've had some beers so it tastes pretty good! And yeah, one slice is more like two slices for real. So rock on Jumbo Pizza! I'm pretty sure I'd have a slice or two here sober which is saying a lot...

We had a craving for a jumbo slice on Sunday night after a big day and ordered a whole bunch of stuff via Slice. It did not turn out great. The breadsticks were fantastic but that's about where it ends. The two jumbo slices (cheese) were both inexplicably wet AND crispy and the sauce was very bland. The onion rings were barely coated or fried and were basically just inedible, cold mush. The garden salad's description didn't say that it came with cheese and it had about jumbo slice's worth of shredded cheese on it. This was not great as the person who was ordering the salad can't really have that much cheese (they didn't get the pizza!) and so the salad was pretty inedible for them.I complained to Slice and I was able to get a refund on the onion rings. Jumbo Pizza refused to give me a refund on the pizza despite it being terrible quality and told me that the salad was supposed to come with cheese so that one was on me (you have to update your website so people know this!). Really bummed I got stuck paying for terrible food and poorly described menu items. Won't be throwing my business here again.

Things shut down early in Washington. So there wasn't a lot of spots to eat. I really wish We had went to the hotel and eat, but my brother saw "Jumbo Pizza." It was a small hole in the wall, that needs no description. It's not clean and I saw live roaches in the bathroom. It was enough to make my skin crawl. But this late at night we pressed on and tried out luck with the jumbo pizza. I asked for sausage and the lone guy working said they didn't have any. I asked for chicken, onions, mushrooms, he had nothing but pepperoni. I guess we were eating pepperoni slices. It really didn't take long to make, but he put it into a small sized pizza box, so it got folded. The pizza was actually not that bad, but it made me want New York pizza more. I definitely will not return, but I admire his effort for the large slices.

Incredibly, they were able to cook the outside while leaving the entire inside raw, including the vegetables. And that's not mozzarella; it's raw dough. If you love half-frozen tiramisu that smells like raw onions, this is your late night dream stop! Mmmmmm, yummy!

I give them one of their few good reviews for a late night place and the last two orders have been bad, pass on the undercooked soggy onion rings, the worst was tonight, carmelized onion pizza, was literally a cheese pizza with an uncooked cold white onion thrown on after the pizza was out of the oven...friends & I have liked for what is, a midnight pizza order, but nah, this pizza was like a big f u to the customers...never again.
