Delicious homemade empanadas. Are they pricey? Yes, but so is fast food, and at least these empanadas we know and can tell are homemade. They have something for everyone: vegan, vegetarian, and with everything. We had sweet empanadas and several with meat. I love how each of the meat ones is named after a country, so it's easy to understand what you are getting, but the flavor won't be 100% the same as with the Jamaican; it doesn't taste like a beef patty, but it was good. My least favorite was the spinach with cheese. I expected it to be more cheesy, but it was still delicious.

We stumbled upon this little gem.If you are EVER in the D.C. area, this a MUST GO TO. 3 locations. Best. Empanadas. Ever. These are not fried, they have many to chose from. Locals recommended this spot.Side note..... Chilean & Jamaican were outstanding.THEN..... The dessert, strawberry & cream cheese...to die for.

We used to live near the DuPont circle location a couple years back and loved these Empanadas as a late night snack!Sadly we moved far away and have not found a comparable empanada.I recently found out that they have another location closer to us so I couldn't wait to try!The Jamaican empanada is my favorite, but they had lots of other savory and sweet ones that looked good. I will happily come back for more! One thing to note is they close very early (2:30pm) so plan accordingly!

Get one of each empanada if you can!! Savory and sweet. I wish I lived closer to this hole in the wall because the empanadas are AMAZING! Everyone who works there is very kind and helpful in recommendations.

Delicious and fresh baked empanadas with lots of varieties and vegan and vegetarian options. Now open on weekends 11-4! If only they had evening hours.

I would say this is the best empanadas for the money I paid. Savory and sweet ones both taste great! The store is tiny and easy to miss. The portion is giant. It worth a visit if you are around.

I'm a huge empanada fan and these were some of the best I've ever tasted. I have never heard about this place before today but while I was working in DC today I saw this place while driving down Georgia ave and looked it up on yelp. Yelp didn't disappoint, and neither did these delicious empanadas. I got three different types of empanadas...apple and cinnamon, pineapple, and Chilean. The fruit ones were very good and the dough and so soft, sweet and delectable. I gave the Chilean one to a family member and they loved it. I will be back soon.

Freshly made with good ingredients and great service! The empanadas are always delicious. I've tried the chorizo, steak, and Chilean beef and I've enjoyed them all. The only issue with this place is the difficulty of having to pick which ones to get!

I like empanadas, and I like the fact that DC has Julia's Empanadas where you can get your fix. I've tried their Chilean Style Beef (contains ground beef, raisins, hard-boiled eggs, onions, and ripened olives), the Chorizo (has chorizo, rice, and black beans), the Spinach (contains spinach, mozzerella and ricotta cheeses), and their Jamaican Style (which has ground and chopped beef, onion, potato, curry, and spices). My favorite is the Jamaican Style as it is flavorful, a little salty, and had good flavors with the spices. While parking is a little tight, it's a good little treat if you're in the area.+Jamaican Style

Five star empanadas, the perfect handheld snack. We picked these up to go for a walk on the beach and they held up well for the car ride. We really enjoyed the sturdy pastries. We tried the jamaican beef, salteña and chilean and they were all delicious. I think the salteña was our favorite. Would return and try the other fillings.
