Decided to try this Carryout because I wanted so wings and wedges and was told they had some of the best food. This place is truly a carryout style place no seating area just order and go. Also it's a cash only operation so no cash no food. The lady that took my order was nice and handle my order very quickly. The food was okay not the best not the worst I ever had the wings were fried decently and the wedges were delicious. i just couldn't tolerate the taste of the mumbo sauce they use on the chicken. it had a taste I can't explain and will never put on my chicken if I ever come to this place again.

Okay, I'm not going to lie. This is a hole in the wall spot that I've been coming up for years. It's not a looker, nor can you sit in and eat. It's legit a carry out. I always get the chicken wings and mambo sauce! The chicken is crispy, and so are the wedges. That's if you get the chicken box. I get salt, pepper, and ketchup on the wedges and still dip in the mambo sauce. It's amazing. If you are not scary when it comes to certain neighborhoods, you should go try it. As far as the service they are polite and work fast. It is always a line when I go. Just a heads up... They are a cash only business, but if you have cash app they take that too.

Nothing like a mom and pop breakfast & lunch spot! Joy's Kitchen offers a variety of options from breakfast sandwiches, platters, chicken meals and more. The staff are very friendly but if you don't call ahead expect to wait and the food is cooked to order. There is no seating inside the venue, and the space operates as a Carryout only facility. Note: they take cash only or cash app.

Delicious fish the fish taste like my own I was very pleased, and the breakfast sandwich was also very tasty , the mumbo sauce is the best in The DMV. Papa and Mama song and there family now what's good and they serve.

This place is a hidden Gem. Be open minded to the area in which the restaurant sits. The location is not the best but the Food is AMAZING!!The customer service is great, the staff is always friendly. You can call orders in over the phone. I wish they stayed open later. And I think it might be cash only?(Full disclosure I only had there famous fried chicken wings and wedges and fried whiting fish meal. There Mumbo Sauce is to dye for )

They are nasty and disgusting, I had a fly in my home fries and I think they knew because it was right under the ketchup if I would have ate the ketchup I would have eaten a fly.

Amazing foods and family Services I love cheeseburger and potato wedge and club sandwiches. But breakfast is the best of all.

Found a fly in my French toast I mean inbeded cooked right to perfection SMH I was halfway through when I started puking everywhere I have ate from here several times I'm disgusted and disappointed that is one of my favorite breakfast meals now I'm disturbed can't eat French toast panicked that I will find a bug in my food they refunded my money with the nerve to ask if I wanted more food definitely not but now I have a real bad feeling about ordering my favorite food from any restaurant again everytime I say French toast I gag
