Jônt delivers an unforgettable dining experience with meticulous attention to detail and outstanding customer service. Their Valentine's Day menu was spectacular, filled with lively surprises during the desserts that made the evening truly special. Every bite was absolutely delicious, and I loved receiving a commemorative menu as a thoughtful keepsake. That said, a couple of things stood out: The music choices were... puzzling. Some songs felt completely out of place for such an upscale experience. Not sure what vibe they were aiming for, but it didn't quite fit the ambiance. The menu size was a struggle. I knew it would be a lot of food, but I was completely full halfway through. I can't imagine how some guests opt for extra bites--I couldn't even enjoy dessert properly. A shorter menu option would be a fantastic addition.Honestly, if the menu remains this extensive, I wouldn't return despite how amazing the food was. It's just too much, even for a tasting experience. But if you're ready for an epic culinary journey and can handle the volume, Jônt is truly top-tier.

We had heard from multiple friends that this was their favorite michelin star in DC. We came in October during one of their specials. The food was delicious and every course was meticulously planned. I'm not sure if it was because of this specific tasting menu, but we were not completely full when we had left. There weren't as many courses as our friends had told us there would be, so it was a little disappointing considering it was almost $1000 meal. Going from the counter to our own table was really nice though. We got more of an intimate setting with the pastries and dessert. I would consider coming back another time of the year to try the menu!

This was such a nice experience! The tasting room dining bar was modern, clean, and well designed. Staff were nice and very educated on menu offerings. All of the dishes were very tasty--the one that stood out the most was the rice dish. I'll definitely remember that one forever! While the dishes were all very delicious, most of them didn't have any wow factor to them in terms of taste. After finishing up the dinner portion, we were transferred over to their special dessert bar to finish out the meal. Desserts were relatively good -- a lot of them were just average and didn't really stand out. I have one complaint about the service -- for the first course, which was a five dish course, the servers would come by and reach over my food and hands while I was eating to pick up the first two out of five dishes that I finished in the course. Definitely felt disruptive and unnecessary... they could've just waited another 30 seconds for me to finish the rest of the course before taking away the dishes. Overall, this was an excellent meal. The wagyu course replacement for $300 additional felt unnecessarily bougie. That is, you can pay an extra $300 on top of the already close to $400 base price to substitute one of the existing courses with an upgraded wagyu course. Definitely unnecessary to pay that much for a course change, even with it being A5 wagyu and truffles. It feels like they were charging NYC prices for non-NYC 2 Michelin Star caliber food.

Jont has been on our list for a while, and we were so excited to check it out for a fancy occasion. You'll feel like royalty when you dine here. They pay attention to every little detail. You can tell how much thought and labor goes into every step of the experience. It's nice to sit at the counter and be able to see each course being plated. Some of the courses that stand out in my memory are the radish & pink pineapple salad and the mushroom course that had 3 different presentations of mushrooms. Each morsel of food is packed with flavor. The dishes are unique but not overly experimental. Everything was well-balanced. We paid extra for the super special imported melon. It was truly delicious and worth trying! We also did two different drink pairings. Jake had the wine pairing, and I had the non-alcoholic pairing. We were so impressed with the NA pairing! They even had NA Champaign and a cocktail. After so many courses of food, we were stuffed, but we made it to dessert. Dessert was incredible. I loved the case of sweet bites and the homemade Madeleine cookies. Jont is all about the culinary experience. From the service, to the glassware, to the drinks, to each bite of scrumptious food, everything comes together seamlessly. I would definitely recommend planning a celebratory dinner here.

Jônt was truly a rich, warm, and welcoming Michelin Star experience. And every single bite was so wonderfully crafted and curated. My partner and I both agreed that if you're just starting to explore and experience fine dining and gastronomy. Nothing here was "crazy" it was just... exceptional. Incredible food done incredibly well. Starting from the beginning, you're taken to the second floor into a room holding the chefs counter. Here you'll spend the bulk of your night. You'll be greeted with commentary bubbles (alcoholic or not depending on preference), and amazing amuse-bouche. From here on out you'll be presented small bites and plates of beautiful, seasonal, delicious food. We got to experience a quail centric dinner because it was in season. If you opt in for a pairing (cannot recommend enough) you'll be told about your bevvy and where it comes from, its maker, and be amazed at how a simple sip can open up flavors you didn't notice before. After the main meal (and what a ride it is) you'll enter the pastry lounge. Where you'll lounge and nibble on fantastic desserts, coffee, teas, and if you opted in for it king melon. Which is absolutely a must, this slice of melon will probably change your life. Everything about Jônt was amazing. It was approachable and not intimidating. The staff was a delight. Treat yourself. You deserve it.

Stopped at Jont while visiting my family member out here along with a few tastings. While at Jont, I got their Chef's Tasting and I got a glass of red wine to sip throughout dinner. The Sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and suggested a very good red so pair with majority of the dishes I will be having. The atmosphere was welcoming and wait staff was friendly. The service incredible throughout the experience. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because the food lacked luster and creativity of a 2 Michelin star from presentation and flavors. The most noteworthy part of my experience here was the transition between dinner portion to desserts to another room. For the price and Michelin Tier similar to Ever and Oriole in Chicago, Jont does not seem worth this steep of a price nor Michelin Status.

I almost forgot to write up my review for Jont which is a big no no. This was truly an EXPERIENCE! Everything from the beginning to the end of the meal was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! Dining experiences like this don't come around often so when you're lucky enough to enjoy it make sure you enjoy it to the fullest. When I say hospitality I mean everything you can think of. I was just having a conversation about how much I loved paper planes (The cocktail) and by the end of the night they had a paper plane in a to go cup waiting for me. I don't even think they make paper planes so where did they get it from lolol. Being able to see everything while sitting up at the chefs counter was a nice touch as well. I could go on and on about the food but Jont really is something you just need to experience. I can't explain the movie to you, I can only say "It's that good, go see it". Every dish better than the last and melted in your mouth leaving you wanting more. Thank you Jont for this 5 star experience, easily my favorite dining experience in the DMV. I'll be back for more

We recently celebrated our anniversary here and had such a fun evening! Great food, great cocktail programming, great service, and the music provided some good energy for the whole experience. I did the wine pairing which went nicely with the meal. My husband had a couple different cocktails and they make them right in front of you explaining the different ingredients and steps. We did a couple enhancements- melon and A5 with white truffle- they were definitely worth it! We both agreed that the A5 was the highlight of the meal but really every bite was creative, flavorful, and almost too beautiful to eat. I'm so glad we finally checked out this place and will definitely come back!

Dining at Jont was truly unforgettable! This was my first Michelin-star restaurant, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we sat down, I was amazed by the level of detail in every aspect--the food, the service, and the entire atmosphere.Sitting at the chef's counter was incredible! We had a front-row view of the culinary artistry happening in the open kitchen, which added a whole new level of appreciation for each dish. Every course was like a surprise work of art, carefully plated and packed with flavors I couldn't even begin to describe. I honestly didn't even know exactly what I was eating at times, but each bite was phenomenal and introduced me to new and unexpected flavors. It was by far some of the best food I've ever tasted. The service at Jont was flawless, with every server attentive and thoughtful, making the entire experience feel seamless and intimate. The staff really put care into every interaction, walking us through each course and describing each dish with such passion and knowledge. The atmosphere was wonderful--calm and sophisticated, with an energy that was both lively and refined. The dessert chef brought so much fun and energy to the final courses, making the experience even more enjoyable and personal. It was such a memorable way to end the meal.Jont is the kind of place you go to for a true, once-in-a-lifetime culinary journey, and it's a must for anyone looking to experience the height of fine dining in DC. Dining here was an amazing, memorable evening. Highly recommended!

This was quite possibly the most expensive meal of my life, but it was definitely worth it. Starting in the first room, you enjoy a bunch of savory courses all with the most beautiful presentations... Every item is like a work of art. I also really like that. There's a story behind each dish and you can tell. There's a lot of thought that goes into everything. Then once you're done with the savory courses, you move out to the pastry parlor where you enjoy a number of dessert courses. When I left, I could hardly breathe I was so full. The service is obviously top notch and the ambience is definitely unique. A wonderful special occasion meal that I wont forget anytime soon
