As a regular KBBQ fan I really enjoyed Jongro. Service was great from the host to bartender to server. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Decor was fun, bright, but cool and inviting. Could definitely see this as a weekend eats or hangout spot. Even more so being located at the mall near the movie theater. Meat options and sides were great! First KBBQ I've been to with fried chicken, spicy rice cake, and fish cake as bon chon included with AYCE. Probably the widest variety of meat I've seen as well all for $30 per person. Will be back to try out some of the other sides and higher quality meat options.

**Service:**I visited Jongro BBQ with a friend for a Friday night dinner, and we opted for the all-you-can-eat option, which offered plenty of choices. As soon as we were seated, the sides were already on the table, making for a quick start to our meal. The waiter was attentive and ensured our orders were taken promptly, adding to the smooth experience.**Taste:**We tried a mix of everything on the menu, and while some dishes were more flavorful than others, we had a few favorites. The herb shrimp, soy garlic bulgogi, and corn cheese stood out as particularly delicious. The peach soju was also a hit, complementing the meal perfectly.**Ambiance:**Jongro BBQ has a chill and casual setting, making it a great spot for a relaxed dinner with friends. The atmosphere is inviting and perfect for unwinding after a long week.**Recommendation:**Overall, Jongro BBQ offers a decent price for a solid all-you-can-eat experience. With tasty dishes like herb shrimp and soy garlic bulgogi, along with a laid-back vibe, it's a spot I'd definitely return to. Perfect for a casual night out with friends!

I'll say that I was pleasantly surprised with the food and (especially) the service during our recent Jongro BBQ visit. Although the restaurant is pretty large, I highly recommend making a reservation because we had a 20-minute wait even though at least half of the tables were unoccupied. I'm not saying a 20-minute wait is bad, but we went on a lazy Sunday so I imagine the wait time would have been longer had we visited on a Friday or Saturday night. For about $35 bucks, you will have 90 minutes to eat as much as your heart (or stomach) desires with a nice selection of pork, beef, chicken, and seafood items. Overall, I though all of our servings were quite delicious, and the portions were quite generous. I'll say that the three layer pork belly, soy garlic pork bulgogi, ribeye steak, mango beef bulgogi and the honey butter calamari were my favorites. *Yes, I know that's a lot of favorites, but it was hard to chose 1-3 favorites. ;) * When ordering the honey butter calamari, I highly recommend that you eat it pretty fast bc it's not so great once it cools off. I thought the service was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was quite friendly and make wonderful recommendations. Also, she constantly changed our grill, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting with the various display of Korean momentos. Honestly, it felt like being in someone's home rather than a restaurant. Since we visited in November, the restaurant also had a lot of Christmas decorations. Also, I thought the restaurant had a decent air filtering system because we did not smell like a grill and/or smoked meat upon leaving the restaurant. For our party of two, we were informed that the AYCE deal is for 90 minutes; however, I'm not sure if the restaurant will extend the time depending on the party size. I don't know, but I think 90 minutes might be kind of tight if you have a party larger than 4 folks. All in all, I definitely will return to Jongro BBQ to have some other meat varieties that we did not have a chance to try.

It was okay. The food was decent, but the service was a bit slow. I'd give it another try in the future.

I had been wanting to try this place that opened at Wheaton Plaza Mall about a year ago- this past Friday we made it so. They don't take reservations if your party is under 8 people, but we didn't have a problem getting a table. They set everything up before you're seated- all the sides, the sauces and the grill. We did the AYCE and it did not disappoint! We had the spicy calamari, the shrimp, the ribeye and a few of the bulgogi's. The meat was very tender and flavorful. The server was attentive and kept coming back to make sure our meat was cooked properly and we had everything we needed. I wish there had been something green anywhere on our table- any kind of veggie- but who am I trying to eat salad at a Korean BBQ place! We will definitely go back- it was a great evening and I'm really rooting for this place to do well- I know traditionally restaurants in that area behind the Mall haven't done great. Also the decor was fun. The bar actually looked like a good place to hang. Will have to look into their happy hour.

i came to Jongro last month with my wife late after the Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie opening night at AMC Wheaton and we were very impressed. The wait was long They let us sit at the bar and we got seated in less time than expected. The drinks are great and the BBQ is the best we've had of any place. What is amazing is all the meat options, especially steak and bulgogi, some of which you cannot find other places and they let us try four meats at once while other places limit it to only two. We look forward to returning!

Jongro KBBQ is THE spot for Korean BBQ & will certainly not leave you disappointed at all. And their awesome price point of their all you can eat 'Ayce' - $31 per person will get you endless options of pork, beef, chicken, and seafood! Within each protein option, you'll have the choice of a soy garlic sauce, spicy, butter, mango habanero... and all with zero comprise on the cut of the meat! My favourites yesterday were the rib eye, honey butter calamari and the spicy pork belly. They also have all you can eat with their sides, which include fried rice, corn cheese, plain rice, Korean fried chicken... amongst a bunch of other options.I just so happened to go on a Tuesday, when they have ALL DAY half priced drinks. Which was a much needed surprise after a long day at work. Our server was amazing, despite him having a bunch of tables on his watch, we still got our drinks and various meats served at the perfect time. He swapped out the covers for the grill when they needed changing & most importantly - without us asking. The venue is decorated with antique pieces, which add a really unique spin to the otherwise modern decor.

Had such an amazing experience at Jongro Korean BBQ! We got the beef combo, and the special short ribs were the highlight--perfectly marbled, tender, and packed with flavor. Everything was beautifully presented, making it feel like a feast from start to finish. The side dishes were a pleasant surprise. For a BBQ spot, I didn't expect them to be this good! The banquet noodle soup, tteokbokki, and steamed egg were all so flavorful, and the prices for the sides were surprisingly reasonable. On top of that, the service was excellent--super attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The staff made sure our grill was always at the right temperature and that we had everything we needed. The overall vibe of the place was just right--cozy and lively, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Already looking forward to my next visit!

I used to literally LOVE this place. However, if a MOUSE can just RUN AROUND WITH NO WORRY, it means it's mad dirty. Genuinely the worst. At least the meal was free but at what cost . Also, it motivated me to cook at home.
