Johnny Rockets & Hurricane Wings

This Johnny Rockets is inside a hotel and to be honest, I would get anything else in the area, if possible. The food is what you expect. It's not the best, but it's decent. The main dishes, which are usually sandwiches, are ok. The milkshakes and desserts are much better than the entrees themselves. The service was pretty terrible and it took so long to get our food even if there were not a lot of customers. The place is definitely understaffed and the workers clearly do not care so much. The ambiance is also non existent as this is inside a hotel lobby.

If I could put one star I would. I'm from Los Angeles and was craving a burger, the customer service was terrible, I kept on asking the waiter for help and he would ignore me, the female waitress kept on looking at her phone instead of giving me a menu. I really wanted to leave but was so hungry and in the middle of a big snow storm, food came late and cold. She never came back to offer me a refill on my drink. It was terrible being ignored!

Eaten here three times. Food is as good as you expect. When dining here, another table saw a rat run across the floor of the dining area. They told the waitress when didn't seem to care and walked away. Won't be back.

Clean, friendly, food came out pretty quick. It's centrally located and walkable to hotels in the area. A great lunch spot when you don't want to worry about reservations. I just walked in and made my order to go. Super easy and convenient.

This is your typical Johnny R location! It's very clean and well kept. The food quality was similar to all the other locations I've been to. The prices were fair / reasonable. The service was adequate!

The breakfast buffet was superior! Sausage, bacon pancakes French toast potatoes scrambled and boiled eggs, donuts... I can't even name everything lol it was a lot. Everything was clean and organized & around $16.50. the prices are the only thing I don't like about this place but it's downtown DC so pretty average. None of the burgers come with sides. Service was good during breakfast and lunch BUT DEPENDS ON THE SERVER! We ate here several times cause it's in the hotel. Alicia was the best!! It took 35 minutes one day to make our lunch.. when it came out, one burger was the complete wrong burger and the kids sliders didn't have anything on them (pickles or sauce) The Rocket burger was smaller than expected but taste very good, even the Special Sauce. The Turkey club was ok, more of a BLT. I had to change my review to 3 stars and after this last visit I'm thinking it might even need to be lower than that...

Hubby and I popped in here after a failed attempt to retrieve food from a spot next door to this place. As we entered, we walked around to sit at the bar. I'm not sure how long we waited before we were greeted or given menus. I ordered the rocket double burger and fries (which were omitted after asking if they serve them) and a mocha coffee shake and hubby had the bacon burger and strawberry/ banana shake(but had to settle for the strawberry since they didn't have any banana).Our drinks were served first, and I had to return my shake since I was served a vanilla coffee shake instead. Our burgers were served, and I wish I had my phone to photograph the burger that was given. It was messy, and the lettuce alone was huge that I had to remove it and cut it up. Had to get silverware from a table to cut my burger, since the older gentleman at the bar was only there to make alcoholic beverages and not a server. Overall service was mediocre, but if you smoke other than cigarettes, please air yourself out. I am not a fan of cannabis, and I don't want to smell it on you during your shift. The shake was on point and would give 5 stars.

TOTAL 180. We went for the breakfast Buffett. The food was delicious, the service was EXCELLENT from William, and we love the oldies playing on the radio. If you want an authentic diner feel in DC (it's more rare to find than you'd reckon), come here. Best service and value in Logan Circle

The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. I found the buffet tasty but not the best but my order from the menu was quite delicious. I ordered a cheese bacon burger one night and it was very good but I wasn't fond of the onion rings. All in all I would eat here again.

The service was absolutely horrendous. Was with my family and they didn't even take our order or ask us what we wanted to drink. I was there for 30 minutes before I decided to just out since we still didn't have a water or anything. Terrible, don't go.
