Meatloaf was not good. Parmesan potatoes dry and hard. Cajun slaw not remarkable. I'm glade I wasn't too hungry because I just couldn't make myself eat it. I wanted to like it but couldn't .Poorly prepared mass food prep

Jennifer at the bar was great! She was perceptive to the customers and knew when they were ready for food or drink. We ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and asked to split it. Good move - half a sandwich with fries and all the sauces on the side was a perfect selection. I like the bar area - if I could, I would recommend drapes / curtains on the outer windows to minimize the glare on the TVs. Parking on the street is free on Sundays - but if you park in the garage ($15), the restaurant will take care of the first 3 hrs for you.

I recently visited Joe Theismann, an upscale sports bar, during Restaurant Week, and while the food was absolutely fantastic, the service left a lot to be desired.Let's start with the positives--the Restaurant Week menu was an incredible deal, offering a well-curated selection of dishes that showcased both quality and creativity. Every course was delicious, from the perfectly cooked appetizers to the flavorful entrées. The portions were generous, and it was clear that the kitchen put real effort into execution. The mussels stole the show, and the sea bass was perfectly crispy. The desserts were another highlight--decadent, well-balanced, and the perfect way to end the meal.Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by poor service. Our server was inattentive, borderline rude, and seemed completely uninterested in making our visit enjoyable. The mussels were brought out and we had no silverware. When I told her I needed it she seemed annoyed. It was disappointing, especially considering the upscale vibe and the level of food quality.Would I return? Maybe--but I'd hope for a different server because the food is absolutely worth it. If management could step up the service to match the kitchen's excellence, this place would be an easy five-star experience.

Shout out to Carson! He was the definition of an awesome and great server! He was polite, courteous, articulate, personable, polite, respectful and very professional. He should be training other servers on how to be successful at waiting on others. Marcus was the perfect manager!!

I loved my clam chowder and pita with hummus. The chowder tasted real and rich. Atmosphere of the restaurant was great and our service was awesome.

This place was so good that I did a review as soon as I got in the car. A very nice upscale bar. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere.Bernard provided excellent service.Every thing we ordered was absolutely delicious and we are definitely returning in the near future.

Yep, we did it again. Like for Thanksgiving, we did buffet on Christmas Day, this time at Theismann's ($59/adult).This is our second visit to Theismann's. The first time was Thanksgiving 2020, when we came in the afternoon and they had already run out of turkey.This time there was plenty of food. Our server was exceptionally good, the highlight of our visit.The food was decent, except for the ham which had tough inedible edges.The dessert bar was very small: just apple cobbler, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin pie, unsweetened mousse and a fruit board. In the words of the elderly diner seated at the next table, the dessert selection was "pitiful".Still, Theismann's is popular, and when we left at 1:00pm, every table was taken.

On a quest to try knocking off as many bookmarks off my list this 2024, I ended up at Joe Theismann's.It was girls night out and we wanted to watch the Kentucky Derby, we heard this was the place todo just that and our friends were right! First, yes, make a reservation. This place was packed to the window, to the wall.Service: Excellent the entire visit! Ambiance: We dressed up, never know who you'll see, but we likely could have dressed down. The place is an upscale sports bar. Never hurts to be the best dressed. Shrugs.Let's get into it!Appetizer:Broiled Chesapeake Crab Dip - Super Delicious Main Entree:45 Day Age Filet - Perfection!Chicken Louisiana - Excellent!Dessert:Warm Apple Crisp - Excellent! Drinks:La Marca ProseccoLemon Basil Martini Would definitely come back! Very inexpensive girls night. Couldn't even spend $200 if you tried with multiple rounds of drinks. Food is fantastic and with these price points I know why this place stays packed! Banging at a Bargain.

Everything was a 10/10 ! Manager even came and talked to us. I will be coming back . Food was really good!

John was absolutely AMAZING!! So helpful and made our experience the best. The steak was cooked perfectly and a great atmosphere.
