This is a cheap Chinese place. As long as you're OK with it, this is a good option. The good: the portions are huge, the food is pretty good, the service is cheap, and the lady working the front is friendly. It's hard to complain on the product as-is - it's your basic Americanized Chinese fare that you can get out of most cheap holes in the wall in most cities.The bad: this place operates on razor-thin margins, isn't the prettiest, tends to be pretty "basic," and is nowhere near "real" Chinese food. This is not the kind of place to come in with esoteric requests, high culinary expectations, or the like. Moreover, the particular location of this restaurant isn't the best, and probably isn't in the safest part of town.Big picture: this is a 5-star place if you adjust your expectations given the price point and overall intent.

So I come here to get something to eat. It's just an average Chinese to go place. The inside isn't that clean so if you can call before I suggest you do. So I get to the counter and the guy working the counter is eating the biggest bowl of soup I've ever seen in my life. He's also slurping louder than the anime he is watching on his bootleg MacBook No Pro. The menu is confusing. I make my order, then I change it when I see what I actually want. My new order is half of what I ordered initially. Now it's a lady at the counter who gets visibly upset because she just lost out on $8 due to my order change. I hand her my money, she takes it. She slides my money back on the counter like she can't place it in my hands. I'm Thinking to myself that's quite rude. I observe two people after me and she hands then their change. WTF? Won't EVER come here again.Another African American comes in she slides his change too. Clearly not a coincidence. Clearly not cool.I don't even care how the food is and it took 25 minutes for wings and rice.

This is a place you usually need to go to NE/SE DC for. It covers all the bases. Chinese food, hot/cold subs, fried seafood and chicken. First, the appearance may scare some folks away. Keep in mind, it could be worse. Usually at these places your ordering through bullet resistant Plexiglas. Also, it is more of a carry out then an eat in place but there are tables.Back to the food. I would love to meet the chickens that give up their wings for this place. The wings are huge. My default are the wings and steak and onion sub. Too much food at great prices. Have also picked up a range of the chinese food and it's all been good. Nothing earth shattering but definitely good solid food.Oh, you can even buy phone cards here. True one stop shopping.

It is a small carry out and mostly clean. The food is inexpensive and tasty. I usually order the Bean Curd and Mixed Vegies and it is good, but does not have enough sauce in it. I have also had the Vegie Lo Mein and it was nice. I have had better Chinese, but Jerry'sis good if you are low on funds and they also give you large portions and it is not so bad. The food is cooked fresh and you can see the cooks making it. They have some American food on the Menu, and I have also ordered fried chicken and french fries, and it is the best! The location is not in the best part of town, so it is best to go in the afternoon or early evening.

This is really the type of Chinese "carry out" you'll find in NE SE oxon hill. The food is so tasty with a southern twang on everything. The lady who works at the desk almost every time I go is really friendly and that is the real reason why I started coming here exclusively. Most other Chinese "carryout" have rude unapologetic people running the place. But i never miss a please, thank you, come again from these people!

Just moved around here, ordered 3 piece and fried rice and a combination sweet and sour with fried rice. Both plates of rice was fully uncooked in both plates, I called and they told me they couldn't do anything for me which was a huge disappointed. It's like they don't even care so I will be taking my business somewhere else.

I ordered online. I am vegan and they did not follow the specific orders I gave them in the description so that I could actually eat the food I ordered. They disregarded what I said and I couldn't eat what they put in my bag. When I called regarding the order, the lady was rude and I was hung up on three times.

I order from this place frequently and get thesane thing; general tso's chicken with rice....with no problem. Today, however, was different. I placed my order that I had to repeat to the person on the phone twice. When my order arrived, I asked why was I charged $18.75 when my order should have been at the most $13 and some change. I was told i had an old menu ....then I saw that the order was not what I ordered. Instead of the general tso's I got fried wings with rice in a separate box and hot sauce When I explained to the driver that he delivered the wrong order he kept saying the wings were cut in half. Then I requested some of my money back because $18.75 was too ridiculous. I was given back the difference and I called the manager and explained what happened. I told get I wanted him to take the order back and send me what i ordered.....she says "oh I don't know" what do you mean you don't know?! The delivery driver even said I'm a regular customer and he knows me. If you know me, why is my order wrong? Why was I told they didn't know if he could bring my correct order? It'll be a long time before I order from them again
