Scrumptious!!!The best Salmon I've ever had!The best ribs I've ever had!The sauce is so delicious! Words cannot express. You need to taste it and savor it.The sides complement really well the main course. For someone who likes healthy food with home cooking flavor, this is the perfect pick.The food is served in a simple elegant manner!When you enter the restaurant, you are welcomed by great music and excellent customer service!The simplicity of the restaurant is its charm! I highly recommend Jerks of the Caribbean! I will be back many times!

All the employees were really friendly! Food was soo good and flavorful! Would be here all the day if I lived nearby. I got the 1/4 jerk chicken with coleslaw and corn. The chicken was super juicy with tons of good flavor, the coleslaw was probably the best I've ever had, and the corn was also delicious!

The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helping us order. The portion sizes were enormous for what you pay for and especially Jamaican food in the DC area. This place is top-notch. It's not a super fancy restaurant, but the food more than makes up for that. I highly recommend this spot, especially if you're over by the national mall!

Clean. Simple. Straightforward. Delicious. Was in town from work. Haven't had any home cooked meals in a long time. This satisfied my itch. Menu consist of jerk chicken, jerk shrimp, oxtail, salad, tacos, salmon and more. Me and my friend went with the one meat two sides options. She had the shrimp with rice and Mac n cheese and I had the oxtail with rice and potato salad. You can't just be trusting anyone's potato salad or Mac n cheese but this one deserves to hit your taste bud. Both were 8 out of 10s. The Mac n cheese coulda used a bit of a broil at the end to get it crispy but I was super happy with it. Oxtail had me suckin the bone like I ain't ever had oxtail before. Service from some of them could have been better. Just friendlier. The Asian / Latino guy maybe was just having a bad day? Either way, the others were hyping up the food, giving their recommendations, and engaging. 4 star place. Could use a bit more spice in their seasoning but I know not everyone likes it and you have to sometimes play to the clientele so it's alright. But definitely a place you need to come to if you're craving some Caribbean food

Still good. Great lunch. Still fast polite service, delicious food that is well seasoned without losing the flavor with heat. I am glad I came back!

A quick service restaurant with delicious food & friendly service. We got the jerk pulled pork sliders & curry goat. Well seasoned and tender meat. Got a nice spicy kick too.Counter seating, but looks like easier to order and go. Convenient above a metro station and near alot of office building so after a tour nearby, stop for a nice warm meal!

Here TODAY!DC Tour Season is a mutha suka! Tourists everywhere, motorcoachs taking up every open parking spot, p.o'd government workers AND Tour Guides getting on OUR LAST NERVE! I dropped my passengers off and had the next 8hrs off and found the next open parking spot so I could find me some lunch. I pulled out my trusty Yelp app and found Jerks of the Caribbean about 2 blocks up. A security guard watching me called me over to inform me that in 2 hrs I would have to move, I told him ok I'm just going up the street to grab lunch. He offered his 2 cents to tell me there's a Chic-fil-a up the street, I told him thanks I'll use my YELP app ty. Boom walked into Jerks and guuuud lawd the music and aroma made me Caribbean dance to the steam table. I decided on the Mango Salmon over rice, cabbage, black beans and cool aid. Oh yeahhh, I Caribbean danced to my high top table and proceeded to eat my delicious lightly spiced Caribbean lunch!! Yezzzz, yezzz yes! ANTHONY ANTHONY!! Ya mamma taught you well and you learned from the best! Peace, love and light!

I stopped by Jerks of the Caribbean after a visit to the Museum of the Bible. I had the oxtail, Mac and cheese and greens. The owner Anthony and his brother were there serving. Anthony was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the Caribbean in general. He was very generous with the portions and even gave us a complimentary side of rice under the oxtail. The oxtail was tender and tasty. The Mac and cheese and greens were well seasoned. The island lemonade was the perfect balance to the meal. The space itself is clean and they have a great selection of music playing in the background. I will definitely be back when I return to the museum.

Seemed relatively healthy for quick food. Reasonable prices and not greasy. I'd come back for sure, especially given alternatives in area.

Went again to just make sure. Same 1/4 chicken dark rice and peas and cabbage. Exactly as delicious as the first time. Tried the beef patty. Pastry was perfectly flaky and filling just right. Never not getting one when I go in. These gentlemen know how to cook. Chronic!!!
