Wonderful little restaurant in at The Melrose near the Kennedy Center in DC! This restaurant is super quiet, small but intimate they have a nice menu that has some delicious options for you and the family! We all went with chicken and potatoes! The meal came out quickly and was just beautiful with the nice sauce around the chicken that was just delicious! You will love to come try this restaurant when you're in the DC area!

Tried this place on my birthday. Started with an excellent salad. It was pretty much downhill after that. I ordered the lamb medium well. It came back overcooked on outside and raw on the inside. They took it back and brought it fully overcooked and I couldn't eat it. The guy offered me a free fruit drink which was cool, however it would have been more appropriate to remove the lamb from my bill. That part of my birthday was not good. Oh well, making another year is a blessing.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Jardenea. But more than the food was the service. We felt cared for as we were facing some of the most difficult times in our lives. Our granddaughter was here being treated for a very serious illness, PANDAS, and the employees of the hotel as well as this restaurant went out of their way to comfort us. I will never forget it! I look forward to the day when we can return to enjoy Georgetown and all it has to offer. For now, this hotel was our welcome mat to the city. Thank you!

We arrived at the Melrose Georgetown Hotel later than we anticipated, and we had tickets for something that started in less than 90 minutes. We spoke to Concierge to see if they had any recommendations for a bite to eat and they suggested Jardena because it was located right in the hotel. They were so accommodating... they even had a ride waiting for us as soon as we were done eating. After we explained to our waiter that we were in a bit of a hurry, he was quick in getting everything out to us and his service was impeccable. The bread they served was very good, with three different options for spreading/dipping and the meals were top notch as well. Very flavorful & yummy!! We were so glad that we ate here. On our next visit to DC, we will definitely be back!!

Staying at this hotel and didn't want to go find a restaurant in the hurricane. We got all of the happy hour items. Brussel sprouts were amazing! Chicken wings were good too. I also really loves the orzo lobster Mac and cheese, but it's just orzo.... no noodles. Definitely not the same as Mac and cheese but surprisingly good. Less filling. I was still hungry after sharing all of this so I ordered the bay crab soup. My server also brought me these amazing cheesy rolls without me even asking. It was soooooooooo good! I'm from CA and have a high expectation for seafood. This was amazing. I practically licked the bowl. The rolls were to die for. The pomegranate martini was equally amazing. Not too sweet, which I love. I told friends in the area to pop in for happy hour ($7) drinks and food and that soup!!!!!! Great service too.

Two meals - two diverse experiences in terms of food quality and taste. The risotto I tried at dinner was near to perfect as was the wine.Their breakfast the following morning was a case of more quantity than quality - the egg dish was too dry and salty and did not seem to have been freshly prepared.

Service was great. Our waiter was exceptional. Salad was delicious, but that's where it ended. Menu was quite a bit different than posted on website. Steaks were over cooked and lamb was so so. All was overpriced.

Giving this a very tepid 4 because service was excellent and coffee just right (plus a whole pot left on the table for me :). The ambiance was also very nice, perfect spot for a meeting or to take your time over a meal. The breakfast was very meh - my business colleague and I both ordered the avocado toast. Cold toast with thick slices of avocado (not mashed), some tomato and a room temp poached/ over easy egg atop, with a drizzle of balsamic something - I like balsamic, but it kind of ruined the whole dish. Especially on cold toast. It was a very generous portion, two big slices with above mentioned ingredients. I ate the eggs and some of the avocado and tomatoes and called it a morning. This dish got rave reviews from others and maybe it was an off day for chef, or I'm used to a different style of avocado toast being from CA. Again, kudos for service and I had a lovely stay at the Melrose.

I don't want to give this place a bad review because the service was excellent. The servers were attentive and kind and they deserve a lot of good credit. We went here for breakfast because we were staying at the hotel and wanted to give it a chance. The food was very basic but incredibly overpriced. I'm still in shock at how expensive it was for a very simple meal of toast, yogurt, bacon, and oatmeal.
