This place was suggested to me by a friend as one of their favorite Asian restaurants in the area. I would have to agree. The service was above and beyond accommodating. They never let our glasses be empty and were always ready to address us and the other customers in need of anything. We started with an order of the fried pork dumplings, which were so fresh and packed with meat. I ordered the Chicken Tang Su Yuk as my main meal. It comes out with the chicken plain and then the side of sauce which I appreciate because it helps keep the chicken crunchy until you want to consume it. The flavor was great. We also had a side of vegetable fried rice. The veggies and rice had a rich flavor and were not overly oily has many other places make fried rice. The venue was clean and tidy.

Jang Won Ban Jum is a great casual Korean-Chine restaurant. Their menu is very distinct from Chinese Chinese and American Chinese offerings. With multiple good Korean Chinese restaurants in the area, I used to rotate among them. Lately, however, I find myself back at this place every time. The differences are subtle but noticeable. As an example, the Jang Won Ban Jum at the Centreville location tends to make their plates like Jjajangmuyn sweeter. It is matter of preference, but I prefer how they make it at the Annadale location. Other Korean Chinese restaurants in the area have different strengths, and I have not found any bad Korean Chinese restaurant in the area. The reason I keep gravitating back to Jang Won is because of their JjamPong and Jjajangmyun. The basic staples of Korean Chinese casual food. I enjoy their other dishes as well, but it is important for me to like the basics first. With the trend of many Korean restaurants converting into a K-BBQ places with elevated prices, I am very happy that Jang Won is remaining a casual restaurant with reasonable prices. This place is perfect for my need for comfort food in a casual environment.

We've ordered jjajangmyeon via Uber Eats twice now and are huge fans! The large dish is quite massive, and my husband and I could easily share one dish and barely finish it. The noodles have a great chewy texture to them and the sauce is so flavorful!I also LOVE that they have jjampong soup! This addresses the old-time dilemma of whether to order jjajangmyeon or jjampong because now you can have both! We also share the dumplings, which are always so crispy and delicious.

Jangwon Banjum is hands down phenomenal! The food is incredibly authentic Korean-Chinese with a menu full of so many delicious options -- you truly can't go wrong no matter what you order. We started with the fried chicken drenched in sweet sauce that you can pour over yourself, and it was a fantastic appetizer. For my main, I had the chicken, shrimp, bokchoy, and noodle soup, and it was absolutely amazing -- so flavorful and comforting. Even as leftovers, it was still fantastic after being reheated! The service was efficient and straightforward, and attentive. We were seated in a side room, which was a nice touch for our larger group.

Came here with my parents for late lunch and there were a good amount of people. We ordered the rajogi(?), tangsuyuk, jjampong, and the jjampong/fried rice combo. Everything came out hot and was good. I have had better, but the rajogi dish will bring me back as not all Korean-Chinese restaurants have that dish. Overall satisfied with the dining experience.

This restaurant was very unsuspecting, but is serving up some great Korean comfort food! There are very few places that blew me away, but this place did exactly that. Almost every dish I tried was amazing. The noodles were the perfect chewy texture, the fried pork and squid had a great crunch/outer layer, and the spicy noodle broths were deep with seafood flavors. The Korean aunty was also very nice and helpful making sure my large group was taken care of.If you're unable to come in a large group to try everything, I would definitely try the Jjam Bbong, Ja Jang Myun and the Khan Pung Squid!

Loved it here. I know there are so many options for Korean food in this area, so coming from S Jersey, it was a little overwhelming to pick just one place (we are so lacking with excellent Korean food options where we live). But I really wanted kkanpunggi so our friend chose this place. It was really delicious as well as the janangmyeon as well as this one mushroom dish we never had before (blanking on the name). We were SO happy. The service was great and the restaurant looked like a typical Korean restaurant and it was clean. I'd def go back the next time we visit!

Annandale Jang Won is a hit or a miss. Sometimes the food is on point but it's not consistent lot of the times. Centerville is usually the spot to go to they never miss a beat. Koreans that know, know what I am exactly talking about. What I got today was kong-guksu(콩국수) it's a seasonal soybean noodle. It's perfect during extreme hot days. To people that haven't tried it it's little bland so they give you sea salt to season it. Best thing to do is if you eat kimchi pour some kimchi into the noodle and mix the soup and eat it. It's definitely perfect for hot days.

The service is super quick and the food here is so affordable at a huge portion. the spicy dumplings ($12) 4/5: great flavor, wish it was actually spicy. Nothing kimchi couldn't fix!Jajangmyeon ($10): 5/5 this is my fav spot to get it in town, everything from the noodles and sauce!Sweet and sour pork: (part of the $14 combo): 4/5 wish it was a little more cooked but flavor was there. They were so nice and let us stay longer to unbox our little toys. We loved it here and would def rec!

Absolute comfort food and I'm not even Korean, the food is just THAT delicious. The food from Jang Won Ban is just so good and somehow seems like food your Asian mom/grandma/auntie made. There are a bunch of dishes and the portions are huuuge. The place definitely gets busy but we have never had to wait for a table or too long for service. The service is direct and fast and then kind of leaves you alone for the rest of your meal, which we totally don't mind! The restaurant is super casual and seems typical of more traditional Asian food places. There are no frills to the service or the restaurant, it is just good food, and that is what we are there for!
