We ordered catering from here for a "one love" themed first birthday party and it was excellent! Food was hot and well packaged. Pricing was great. And most importantly it tasted the delicious and all my guests enjoyed it. I will definitely order from them again. The jerk chicken was moist, the beef patties and veggie patties were great and the coco bread was perfection! The fried plantains were a crowd favorite as well. Only area of improvement is to maybe have someone help bring food to the car for pickup catering orders. I was alone and my food was heavy and it was a long walk all the way from the food court to where i was parked in the very full parking lot.

You have to try the ribs! It's some of the best Jamaican style ribs around the area. The meat falls off the bones and the sauce is perfectly spiced. Unfortunately they serve the ribs only on the weekends The guys behind the counter are pretty friendly and fast. It's in the mall food court and on the weekends it can be challenging to find a table.

You will find this Jamaican food spot in the Springfield Town Center food court, on the upper level near Macy's. Being that it is in a mall's food court, you have two things, tons of parking and more than ample dining room seating. The guy working the front counter was vey nice friendly and courteous and helpful.You can place your order order at a small kiosk at the end of the counter or you can place it directly at the register. They serve Caribbean favs such as jerk chicken, cabbage, Jerk ribs, jerk salmon, plantains, and a jerk burger.I got the Jerk chicken with a side of cabbage and plantains. The food is already made, so they just had to make my plate. It took them less than 5 minutes to have my meal ready.I don't know if I can say it was the best Caribbean food, but it was pretty good. The chicken was a bit cool, but had lots of flavor. The plantains were juicy, with some crispy parts, just like I like them. They were very tasty. The cabbage was pretty good too.This is a decent spot to get your Jamaican food fix and do some shopping as well. I really enjoyed my meal and am sure that you will too.

Stopped in for a quick bite, and wanted to try something else in the area. So glad we stumbled across this place. We got the jerk chicken, rice&peas, and fried plantain with some fries to share. Everything was super hot and fresh, the jerk chicken was soo juicy! They are fast with the service so we were able to order, grab our food within 5-7 minutes.

First off, Dave the owner and his beautiful wife are AMAZING people‼ They always treat my husband and myself like family. Now, for the food. My favorite on the menu is the Jamaican Jerk Ribs (served on weekends only), Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The flavor is sooooo delicious and reminds me of true, authentic Jamaican food (because it is). The meat falls off the bone...it's just that good and flavorful.The other dish I like is the Oxtail. OMGosh‼ The flavor makes my mouth explode with deliciousness‼ The food is not only good, but it's consistent each and every time we eat there. That's the big difference between Jammin Island BBQ and other restaurants...consistency!If you want some good, authentic Jamaican food, I highly recommend Jammin Island BBQ‼‼Thanks for the AWESOME food Dave‼

We had lunch on a Saturday in the Springfield Mall food court and decided to try JIB. I love Jamaican food but there aren't a lot of restaurants in our area. I ordered the curry chicken with macaroni and cheese and cabbage. My husband ordered the jerk chicken with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. We both ordered the strawberry lemonade for our drinks. I enjoyed my food. The curry chicken was good and so was the Mac. The cabbage was outstanding. I tasted my hubby's collard greens and I wouldn't order them as I like my greens more tender. The service was good. The only thing I would like is a couple of plantains being included with your entree like they do at other Jamaican spots. I would definitely go back.

I got the jerk chicken meal with two sides (Mac and cheese and cabbage and vegetables). It also came with sweet plantain. Everything was excellent. One of the best meals I have ever had at a mall food court.
