Very clean and very good prices and very good service. I forgot to get a picture of my food but I just got eggs and bacon and it was fantastic.

Grungy deli with a shoddy hot bar. The Veggie Panini was okay and overloaded with grilled veggies - red peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The avocado didn't quite fit into the sandwich and the mozzarella cheese didn't pair well. It was a bit of hodgepodge of ingredients slapped together on a sandwich. I specifically asked for no balsamic vinegar and to swap it out for pesto. While the busy staffer assured my request would be fulfilled, it wasn't. There was no pesto in sight and the veggies had a coat of balsamic vinegar. I'm also not sure about the sanitation of the grill and the sad looking food overheated at the hot bar. While the tourists flock to Potbelly's and the Tavern next door, there is hardly any line at the deli during the lunch rush and I can see why. Most folks that come here seem to be construction workers or cops working in the area. It has a certain vibe. $11.45 for a subpar veggie sandwich with no fries or chips is a bit steep. I think I'll take a earlier lunch and head over to Potbelly's or Chop't across the street.

Jack's Famous Deli on Indiana Avenue in DC is a great place to go for all things quality sandwiches and much more. I really like the location and being able to eat inside or outside here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you get everything you need.

I love me some jacks it's a little different now because of rona of course. But its an inexpensive one stop shop for most of the business people needs who are always on the go. And Cecelia is the absolute best. And get the lunch specials while you're at it.

A-OK!Penn Quarter staple with another location near by the Mayors Office. They offer a small hot bar and salad bar; food sold by weight with a deli counter to order hot and cold sandwiches and other items like quesadillas. Coffee and tea station available. The food is generally fresh and the bars are tidy and well kept. They are reliable and quick and a good option when needed in a pinch. Late lunch (after 2pm)? Sorry, they will be closed.Usual food breakfast items on the bar: pancakes, french toast, biscuit, gravy, oatmeal, plain scrambled egg, veggie scrambled egg, sausage links, home style potato, crispy potato wedges with onion, sliced fruit on the cold bar.Usual food for lunch: fried chicken, corn, string beans, mixed veggies, cabbage with corned beef...two other possible meats? Cold bar: fruit and salad options.

Great food and people. This place survived and it thrives! High quality breakfast hot bar. Also known for great sandwiches for the lunchtime crowd. Glad they're still in business.

They got my order wrong but the food was still pretty good. It's close to the National Archives.

Don't even think this place has any resemblance to the original in Baltimore from days gone by. The corned beef and pastrami sandwich was edible enough just to carry you over. Counter staff were curt. The only reason this did not get a lower rating was because the lady at the register was very sweet and polite.

The place is not clean and on numerous occasions the cashier intentionally charged the incorrect price resulting in a higher payment. On 10/23, I ordered a side of bacon ($2.00) but then she charged me $2.20 and $1.59 for a piece of scrapple from hot-bar. My order bill came to $10.51. When I asked her why was it so much, she replied calm down, I hit the wrong button. Every time I go into this place I'm charged the incorrect price. People please beware of this scam and pay close attention to what you are being charged. I will not be going back to this business. Also the cashier always have a poor/nasty attitude and she does not know how to operate a register.

I must've order the wrong food. Chicken Caesar with chicken and romaine came with iceberg and no chicken. Croutons made the "dinner salad" greasy tasting. I ordered the Turkey pastrami which was described horribly on Ubereats and it was also greasy tasting. I should've took the hint when the Turkey pastrami is described as corned beef. Wish I could give zero stars.
