J Gilbert's

We dined at J Gilbert's this week and were amazed with the fabulous full rack of ribs(the best anywhere), delicious home made mashed potatoes, a wonderful corn niblets w/bacon, and fabulous service.Seated by the ever accommodating ast mngr Justin, we ordered perfectly concocted drinks by the venerable bartender FARMUS.GM Matt made sure that everything was perfect.Served by a lovely Ecuadorian young lady(charming husband also serves).In all, the food surpasses our other favorite GAR(Patsy's and Sweetwater).

1st of all - I came during the restaurant week so I can't really complain about the parking situation but I had to park over at McDonald and walk my ass over... other than that...Food + service + ambient + staff + server (Austin) were on point! Why would I ever switch from the main dining room to the bar. That was the biggest mistake ever. I felt like I was at a totally different restaurant. The waiter that I would have had in the dining room was perfect, he was happy, bubbly, said hello, was all smiles. The waiter in the bar area... what in the world. He didn't say hello, he never came back to the table so I guess he felt my vybe and told his coworker to take over and she was just as bad as him. It was very odd in that bar area. The food... Oysters Rockefeller - delicious Lobster Cobb salad - delicious, although I felt as though some of the items could have been cut smaller but it was really good, and I know I said no bacon but it still came out with bacon. Bone In Ribeye, baked potato, lobster Mac and cheese - this was all the food we ordered but I did not eat this. We sent the Lobster Mac back because what was that and where was the cheese. Will I go back, more than likely not. Sad part is not because of the food but because of the service.

Gilbert's!!!I have been coming here for years.Their food, ambiance and service has always been consistent.The restaurant is very welcoming and love the décor.Anything you order is delish!My favorite dishes are: Wagyu Burger & Shrimp DurangoThey have a great Brunch too! One of my favorite places for Brunch. They have so many options! Too many to list!You can make reservations, sit at the bar or walk-in. I recommend making reservations since they do get busy.They have free surface parking around the restaurant.Tip: Sign up for their emails because they have promotions, coupons and free entrée with a purchase of an entrée for your birthday every year

Beautiful, classy, clean, bar I'll go too. I'm not a huge bar person but Gilbert's is to my liking.Their cucumber mocktail is Devine~ And my go to is always their calamari, I wish they would put more calamari and less peppers,,. They look sad and wilted. But overall the taste is great. I do love their wedge salad as well. Guys seem to love their potato thing that they have. Service is great, they're all very helpful. Sorry it took so long for me to leave a review.Hope this place never goes away because it has that vibe of old school class gentlemen's bar/ food place. Love it.

We went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The blue cheese chips appetizer was decadently delicious. And I have not had a loaded baked potato in quite a while. It really hit the spot. A good place to celebrate a special occasion!

Really great experience here! Everyone absolutely loved their food and it came out pretty fast and all warm. The portion sizes are plenty big, you may even have some to take away. The inside of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and our waiter was very kind and helpful. It's a very intimate aesthetic so it would be a great restaurant for a date or catching up with old friends.

My husband and I went to have a nice Valentines dinner. Our server Travis was attentive and engaging great guy. Our apps, entrees and dessert were delicious!!

I'm from Los Angeles, California & for me to say that this restaurant has really good drinks & food really says a lotMy favorite drink was the lavender drop, a little remix of the well known lemon drop. I forgot what food I ordered but I have posted photos, they were all really really good! Props to my bestfriend for bringing me here & also recommending the carrot cake, it was super delish :)

Travis was awesome! Great server. Great food. Thoughtful service from all the staff. Great recommendations.
