Rarely will you see me get Chinese carry out but today was busy at work and crave something fast.Lunch general tso chicken lunch special 4/5 ($9.75)- The general tso chicken was good but the it come with fried rice that was basic dry fried with soy sauce. I wish she would had ask me if i want white rice or fried rice because nothing turn me off but fried rice with ghetto soy sauce just not for me.Hot sour soup small 2/5 ($3.75)- So disappointing it was hot in temperature but no savory or sour or spicy it in at all. It taste like basic broth, the only i like about it the amount of mushroom in it.

Still love their food - favorites: Green beans w/pork - cooked szechuan style with no spices (she sometimes giggles when I order it), chicken with corn soup (an egg drop style chicken soup - perfect when I've got a cold or my stomach is upset - I freeze the left-over then add it to my own chicken-vegetable soups). Mr. loves Shrimp with lobster sauce, Moo Goo Gai Pan & their egg drop soup. Over the years, our favorites have changed but the friendly, quick, competent service remains consistent, the food hot, the prices competitive. The food comes in sturdy containers, perfect for reheating left-overs & getting everything home without spillage.

Food is pretty good, service is quick, and the variety on the menu is good. Kung Pao chicken is our favorite. Mongolian beef usually a little short on beef (mostly onions), but still good. Triple delight is good also.

This used to be my go to restaurant for quality, fresh and excellent Chinese food. Yesterday I ordered and picked up an order. Hunan Cafe has cheap seating and it's not for suitable to eat there.The food tasted and smelled absolutely horrible. Too bad I noticed the smell when I was on the way home.The spring rolls were inedible and tasted like mold. We ordered two other dinner sized main dishes. I don't think the beef was actually beef. The chicken tasted like disinfectant. I'm not exaggerating. I believe they changed management.I recommend not even considering this place when ordering Chinese food. It was a total waste of money and it will be for you, too.

I was disappointed with my whole order. The crab Rangoon was completely stuffed with cream cheese barely any of the other ingredients esp. the crab. The shrimp fried rice was not fresh. The rice seemed like it was recooked after sitting from earlier that day. The spare pork ribs was the worst I've ever had and didn't seem fresh either. I ate some of the shrimp fried rice but ended up throwing everything away and ate cereal for dinner.

This is a hidden gem in the area. We tried all the standard dishes (General Tso, Beef with Broccoli, Hunan Chicken, Lo Mein, Soups), and they were all top notch. All dishes were very tastefully savory without being overly salty, and all vegetables were fresh. Definitely my new go to place in the time where there aren't too many good take out places (or Chinese restaurants) to go to. Strongly recommended to for anyone looking for a decent chinese take out.
