House of Lee Restaurant & Carry Out

I've been going to this place for 15 years and they have the best Chinese food in the Maryland area. The lady at the front is so polite and nice & always gets the food right. I always get extra sauce with any food I purchase. The general tso chicken has the true sweet and spicy taste. The chicken pieces are also crispy. The prices are affordable. I would definitely recommend this spot for some good Chinese.

Pretty tasty food, huge proportion for price, well worth it. Just be careful of sauce. The customer ahead of me wanted oil chili sauce and had to trade back the sweet & sour sauce. That sauce will most likely go to the next customer...? Your guess is good mine, winner how many sauces are traded back and forth?

I have ordered House of Lee about 7 times when a group of us end up working late in the office and my orders are always at least $65+ each time. The food is always delivered fast, hot, fresh and not greasy.The French fries come well done with the perfect amount of salt. The chicken wings are whole and very tasty.The steak and cheese egg rolls are really good, as well as the crispy spring rolls, shrimp fried rice and shrimp lo mein. They always send more than enough soy sauce, hot mustard, Ketchup, hot sauce, etc.

I was looking forward to trying this place after reading so many good reviews about its comparison to NYC Chinese food (I am from NYC). I ordered the usual fried rice with wings. It wasn't bad; it was definitely amongst the best I have had in the DMV so far, but it wasn't as good as NYC style Chinese food.Nonetheless, it still became my newest takeout spot - I'd order from here again.

I heard so much about House of Lee so I had to go try it myself. If we Minus the fact that I ordered 2 things of shrimp fried rice and did not get any soy sauce, only 1 duck sauce for the egg rolls and no mumbo sauce on the side for my chicken wings. (I had to drive all the way back up there for these items) The food was very good! Wings were tasty. Shrimp fried rice was good and egg roll tasted better than it looked. Oh the steak egg rolls does not have cheese inside it's just a steak roll. But it taste good. The best part is the fact they have what I call "original mumbo sauce" It's the best type of mumbo sauce if your a mumbo sauce lover like myself.

I'm not a huge Chinese food fan but placed an order for the husband & step son through Doordash. Ordered the chicken fried rice w/ no onions and bean sprouts, bean curd soup & veggies and a General Tso Combo platter. Food is plentiful, fresh and not greasy. Only set back to my order, request extra sauce & asked for extra spicy for the combo platter and didn't receive it. The bean curd soup... tofu was very minimal but okay. I didn't take pictures of everything but did snap a cheap pic of hubby's dinner

The food was outstanding, a little pricey but so very worth it. I would def eat there again.

I ordered Shrimp Singapore noodles over the phone. The employee repeated the order and I confirmed. After picking up the food and returning to work to enjoy I notice another meat that was not shrimp. I call and ask and they tell me it's PORK! I DO NOT EAT PORK. I never asked for pork. I specifically said SHRIMP. I call the restaurant and the same employee proceeds to tell me that because I have already opened the dish I can not get my money back. I can get a new dish but at this point my stomach has turned since I haven't eaten pork in over 10 years!!! Why would I want more food from you all?! The employee admitted that she heard me say shrimp Singapore but back tracked and said she didn't hear it by the end of the call.

Usually quite good and on point with my order. However, when I order 6 steak and cheese eggrolls and get 6 spring rolls, at closing so they can't even fix my order, and what I got was alot cheaper than what I ordered, Im pissed! I don't want this nasty shat!

A basic carry out. The customer service is ok and the food is blah. I usually order the chicken wings and French fries with mambo sauce. It's ok but not something you would regularly order.
