I've been going here for years and it's been my go to ramen place in Northern Virginia. While parking is a bit of a hassle to find, luckily you can get your parking ticket validated here, but the garage is free on weekends up to two hours. Not too bad right? The food here is good. I often get the Ramen Combo which consists of your choice of broth, what size bowl, what appetizer to add, and then an egg or a salad for an upcharge. This is worth getting as even the appetizer they give you is filling. My go to is generally a Large Shoyu Ramen bowl with Gyoza. The Chashu bowl is also pretty good but it's probably too fatty for those conscious about what they are eating. The food comes out pretty quick; I got my appetizers out quick and then my ramen bowl. For this review I got Kaarage which is Japanese Fried Chicken served with Kewpie Mayo and Takoyaki which is a fried octopus ball in batter. They were both delicious but they didn't taste any different compared to the other ramen places I've been to. The Gyoza is also the same thing; it's made in house but it's not really anything special. The ramen came out and it was delicious to eat. They do have chili oil on the tables if you like some spice but it does help to make the broth much more flavorful. The ramen also came with two pieces of Chashu, arguably the best part but it was all wonderful to eat and even drink the broth at the end. If there is also one thing to note, they do have an rewards system through their app where if you frequent their restaurant, they will give you points which can add up for something to redeem at another visit. It's great because not many ramen places even do that and it's another plus for me to come back to.If you're looking for some of the best ramen spots in NoVA, look no further!

Was catching up with some friends and was told this is one of the better spots for ramen in the area. I got their ramen set that came with gyoza and ramen of your choice. The gyoza was solid, nice and juicy meat with a little crisp bottom. The ramen I got was goma miso which was is an earthy miso flavor which was very unique. Not sure it's my favorite flavor, but very good. The soy marinated eggs were perfectly jammy, but the chasu pork was just alright. Good ramen spot that I'll have to come back to try more flavors!Apps: GyozaEntrees: Goma Miso Ramen

Checked out this place for the first time this week and it was pretty good! I went with some girlfriends on a weeknight and we were seated quickly. Our server was attentive and got our orders quickly. I tried the combo with Miso ramen and it was delicious. I appreciated the choices of sides with the ramen and having the choice of sizing the combo (rather than defaulting to it needing to be a large). This would also make it a good lunch option. The restaurant itself is casual, cozy, and comfortable. We enjoyed the meal and I would come back.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka was pretty good overall! We ordered the tan tan ramen, toro niku ramen, gyoza, karaage, and yakitori skewers. While the gyoza and karaage were tasty, they weren't particularly memorable and tasted similar to what you'd find at other ramen spots. The ramen, on the other hand, was excellent! Both bowls had perfectly cooked noodles and flavorful broth.Service started off a bit slow, but the waitress checked in a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed.Overall, it's a solid spot for ramen, and I'd definitely come back for another bowl!

I had the lunch combo which is a lot to eat. Gyoza, aji, large shio ramen. The gyoza was excellent, crisp on one side, they set is made in house, not the big bands of frozen ones you can get at H-Mart. Aji (egg) was perfectly cooked. Ramen had great, rich, pork bone broth with lots of goodies in it. Chashu was good but not great. Service was fast and attentive. I had to wait 5 minutes for a table. You have to pay for parking in this area, either at Whole Foods or a lot 1 block away. I was there at 1:30 for lunch and the place was still full so people know it is good.

The quality for it's price is so great. I went on a rainy day and was craving a nice broth. This place knows to make it well.We tired the Kara Miso ramen and Shoyu Ramen. Kara Ramen had a right level of spice. Nice and flavorful. Got the regular this time hut might do the large next time! Service was great as well. Servers came by to check up on us consistently. There seating was also fairly spacious.

This is always a positive experience. The food is great. The service is great. There's parking within a block of this place and depending on day and time, it may be free. Everything we've tried has been delicious. It's definitely one of my favorite ramen places. The setting is very casual, comfortable, and clean. The last time I went with the tan tan men (so good), while my wife and son had the hot pot. All of us left satisfied and with smiles.

Had a bit of a wait on Sunday lunch but ramen is fast turnover. After seating the waiters weee attentive and was able to take our orders promptly. The food was good and well portioned. The place isn't large but looked like they could accommodate groups in long tables.

A smashhhh alwayyysss!!! This is my NUMBER ONE go to spot in the entire area of Nova. I'm not even being dramatic. There's only one other spot that can compete and it's cause they have curry ramen. This place broth is sooooo good I really don't know how they get the broth spot on every time. The ramen quality is delicious. There's a farm they outsource all the veggies from so the veggies are always fresh. They have three bowl options to choose from (small, medium, large). I normally always order the miso based broth and a normal size bowl with pork cheek on the side. The service is normally quick and fairly kind. It's a very casual ambiance! They have happy hour, student discount, and meal bundles.
