Hogs On the Hill

Pure Fatty Ribs!!!! I am from Georgia and use to lean, favor filled ribs. Seriously instead of trying to save on products. Consider providing your patrons a quality product.

I visited hogs on the hill today and it was a terrible experience. I ordered 4 wings with were burned up. I ordered a slab of ribs which were burned up also. The meat was non chewable. Probably both were cooked yesterday. Dont waste your money. You will be highly disappointed.Tried to get my order replaced or a refund. That wouldn't do anything for. I explained that I didn't call yesterday because where I work we are not to have phones. They ask why I didn't bring back food yesterday. I explained that I live in Baltimore and didn't know when I would get back to DC. Told them I threw the Burn up food in the trash. They said if I don't bring no food back I get nothing. Then they hung up the phone on me. No type of customer was shown. Wasted $25 in that joint. Please don't go there. You will be sorry you did.

Large rib and wing combo with potato salad (no eggs ) and fries. Mild bbq sauce. You can also mix spicy and mild. They have Mac n cheese and collard greens but wasn't sure how they tasted so I didn't order. Sliced chocolate cake. That was delicious.

The meat was tender, delectable, and seasoned to perfection. I ordered the ultimate combo (or something of a similar name). It included pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, and pork ribs. OMG. After I added the spicy bbq and hot sauce, I bulldozed into a food coma. Impressed and satisfied with the meat, for sureNow, let's discuss the sides. I sampled the mac and cheese and collard greens. This is where the restaurant decided to cut corners. The collard greens tasted like they were dumped out of a can and microwaved. Really? And the mac and cheese reminded me of a tv dinner food item that was recently thawed and heated. I threw both of the unappetizing sides in the trash. This restaurant could've easily gotten a 5 star review from me. I recommend the meat only. Order your sides from somewhere else or make your own. That's a shame but that's all I've got for Hogs on the Hill. Presentation looked good though.

We were stuck in traffic in D.C & took a wrong turn. The sweet smell of Barbecue filled up in the car & we found this place by accident but was happy to have found it. We had a little wait for the food but it was worth it. We got Barbecue Ribs & chicken with mild & spicy Barbecue sauce, greens & fries. Workers were courteous & attentive. Great place.

Great barbecue. Good customer service. Reminds me of the barbecue shack In Ohio were I grew up. I will definitely be back. I didn't get side's but ended up eating my friends potato salad. It was ok. Can't vouch for the sides but the ribs are hitting! I recommend the ribs all day everyday!

Tiny little spot, but absolutely worth a trip! Take-out only, but a delightful melting-pot of folks waiting & ordering. The food was out of this world!Don't forget to grab a slice of sweet potato pie!

The barbqued meat was dry and hard. Like it had not been basted while cooking. This take out has not been the same since moving. Will not return. Said no return before, but forgot how bad it was.

They are NOT CONSISTENT with their ribs, it's like hit or miss with them. 4 times I've ordered takeout from them and 2 times they gave us old and tired rib platters. I will NEVER order from them again.

Outstanding ribs. After 30 years in DC, I finally found ribs to match those from Carolina. Highly recommend the ribs.
