I've had Hilana Falafel 2 or 3 times at the Mt Pleasant farmers market, Hilana is so sweet and friendly! Her falafel is one of if not the best I've had in the DC area so far, it's always nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and well seasoned. The the pitas are filled with delicious flavorful veggies making one some of my favorites since I came back from Jerusalem!

Traveled all the way from Indy to try their falafel sandwiches (and protest the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people) and was not disappointed. Absolutely delicious! We will return for some more scrumptious falafel deliciousness!

Totally mediocre falafel, long line, rude hipster taking order. Definitely would not come again.

Great falafel with fresh ingredients cant miss with that combo. I have been when they are open during the mount pleasant farmer's market. Its simple here falafel on peta is the only option. Has a bunch fresh toppings with cucumber and tomato with tzatziki and hot sauce. All taste fresh and good. The falafel is nice and crunchy. Soft and flavorful on the inside. Nicely seasoned.Service is nice and quick comes out in a few minutes. No sit down area since its pop up. But its in a park so you can sit at a few benches.Overall would definitely go back very good.

Best Falafel this side of Jerusalem. The Falafel is has a thin crispy crust and moist tender center. It tastes fresh and not over-fried so you can enjoy the delicate flavor. The Pita is thin and does not overpower the meal.Fantastic and great owner.

Great, fresh, and the owner is always wonderful and appreciative. They're almost always at the Mt. Pleasant farmers market on Saturdays. Highly recommend!

Hilana Falafel's is a true gem, bringing authentic Jerusalem flavors to DC. I've recently been spoiled the past couple of months being able to grab a falafel from the farmers market! The owners passion is Infectious, and it makes the whole experience even more memorable. That falafel wrap isn't just a meal; it's a highlight of my week. If you haven't tried it, you're seriously missing out.

The BEST falafel in DC. By far. Not one else even comes close.I've lived in DC for 3+ years and have been searching for a good falafel, but have not liked any. They are all one note; flat with no tanginess or crunchHilana's falafel is PERFECTION. The falafel is of course delicious, hot and fresh. But the fresh and pickled veggies are what make their falafal SO good. The perfect balance of crispy falafel, crunchy cabbage, tangy pickles, creamy hummus, and spicy sauce. You can taste the quality of their ingredients and the care they put into their foodMy wife and I look forward to falafels from Hilana every Saturday from the Petworth Farmers Market. Now my toddler loves it too (minus spicy sauce)!Manal is also very friendly and a pleasure to chat with at the farmers market every Saturday
