I came here looking for a quick bite as I was working next door. You walk in this place and it resembles a old western bar or if you are Hispanic una chupadera. I still went ahead and looked at the menu and I asked the waitress what she recommended. She said they are really known for their wings. I asked for them but $16.50 for 12 wings is expensive and when I tell you these wings were just regular wings with hot sauce on top. I wouldn't recommend the wings. Maybe something else. The fries were great tho! And my order came with chips and salsa.

I love this place. It's walking distance from my house and a great after work spot. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. Very authentic Mexican cuisine. I usually get the appetizer platter. It's about $15. And comes with a little bit of every thing. I'm not big on margaritas, but they do make a mean old fashion. If you're ever in the area, drop by. It's worth it.

Food was soooo good. More than I could finish and the Margaritas snuck up on us. $5 per maragrita is unbeleivable and 'well made'. :-)

My go to for a late night meal. Always fresh! Average wait time. Anything with steak is love!

Review for 3/9/2014My sister and I decided to have aSunday lunch. Since we had a living social deal, we came to Haydee's. The outside looks like a "hole-in- the- wall", but when we walked into the restaurant, we noticed that there was a lot going on. TV's, a jukebox in the back, a bar lit with Christmas lights, painting all over, and wooden benches. Immediately, our server escorted us to our seats. She quickly brought us water and menus. We ordered the fiesta margarita, and it was strong. We are talking about "knock-you-on-your-butt" strong. For appetizers, I had a cheese pupusa and my sister ordered a pork and cheese pupusa. I loved the sauce that they came with. I HATED the salsa. Although I love onions, the salsa had way too much. I preferred to use the pupusa sauce with my chips. For lunch, I order the veggie enchiladas. The broccoli, carrots,and onions were cooked and seasoned perfectly in the enchiladas. I have never had enchiladas with broccoli, and Haydee's has set a new standard for me and veggie enchiladas. The pinto beans and rice were okay nothing special. My sister order the combo quesadilla, and she LOVED them. She vowed to return for the quesadillas. The restroom is clean, but it deserves a star deducted. Patrons must put the used toilet paper in the trash instead of flushing it. That is disgusting to me. The trash can didn't have a lid...The restaurant and food was a solid four star, but a star was deducted for the restroom. So why is this five stars? Glad you asked :-) The peach fiesta margarita was perfect. It was the perfect compliment to the food. In addition to the good margaritas, the server and bartender were sweethearts. The real star was the server's son, who wasn't older than 6. He sang every song that the bartender put on the jukebox. He was so lively. His energy was infectious. Truly, he made my day with his singing and dancing. I look forward to coming back and trying the fajitas and other menu items. Overall, Haydee's is a restaurant that I would recommend trying. Don't come in expecting anything... This place is the perfect place to start off an evening of fun.

Disgusting! I ordered wings and fries for pick up. The wings were disgusting. The wings tasted like they were re-fried, meaning reused. The wings were so dry and fried up. The wings wasn't fresh. I've never had disgusting wings except for now. Taste your food before picking up.

Love this neighborhood Tex mex restaurant. Carmen is the bartender for this place and makes great drinks. If you like homemade food then to will like this place. Nothing special on the inside but it is clean and service is great

The food here is always good. I get the half chicken half steak fajitas burrito. The place is family owned I think and it's a lot of space inside. There's an upstairs and downstairs. They always have a drink special menu. The service is ok, I walked in and no one greeted me but I chalk that to the language barrier. I come here usually on weekdays or nights so I'm not sure how the night life is but I assume jumpin considering its on Georgia ave.

This place is the epitome of trash. I question why it's still open. People come here to drink not eat. I came in for a quick bite because I was in the area. We were the only customers and got served spoiled salsa. I asked my daughters if they wanted to leave but they were so hungry and decided to stay. The tables were sticky as if the same rag is used every night on all tables. Then we get our food. Guac looked like it was made 2-3 days ago, pico de gallo looked very sad and this looked like can beans. Stay away from this place. The only thing fresh was a beer I ordered.

I called to order nachos with extra queso for pickup and pictured above is what I received. This is not queso, which is melted cheese dip/sauce and chili peppers. This is shredded Mexican cheese that's been microwaved on tortilla chips, which made the chips flimsy. If a Mexican restaurant can't get an order as simple as nachos correct, then the rest of the menu is not worth trying, in my opinion.
