The food here is excellent, and a great variety of dishes from different Asian countries. Our server, Jayden R, was very attentive and everything came out quickly. Will definitely come back.

Exceptional food and service!Although fairly new to downtown Bethesda, Hawkers has quickly earned a place in our hearts (and our stomachs). We went in for Valentines Day dinner. The service was quick (we came in early), and the food was delicious. The Yaki Udon and Beef Haw Fun were fantastic! Definitely recommended.

Honestly, the inside grabbed our attention. It's a super cool looking spot! The lights and ambiance is perfect and there's games. We ordered the roti which comes with bread and a curry dipping sauce 8/10 Seoul Hot Chicken Bao Bun 7/10 Hawkers Wings 8/10 C.K.T Noodles - wouldn't get it again. Very bland and needed some spice or something. It was the wide drunken noodle style. 5/10 Overall, great vibes and good service but I wouldn't crave this place by any means.

Ever wanted to eat a wide range of Asian street food from East Asia to Southeast Asia all in one place. Usually to have this wide range of Asian dishes from Thailand, to Singapore, to Hong Kong all under one restaurant, one would usually have to brave through a gentrified monstrosity of pseudo Asian-imitated dishes like a Voltron made from the Asian items off of a Cheesecake Factory menu... but the food here actually tastes authentic and I had to look up the owners which 3 out of the four founders were Asian... so it's like the ninja turtles but they kicked out Donatello and replaced him with a street shark... I'm pretty sure I made no sense... not that I ever do...But the food is actually off the hook and taste really really good... my one complaint is that there doesn't seem to be any dipping sauce but to be honest... food was that good that I didn't realize that till after I was done. The ambience also makes me feel like I'm in a Wong Kar-wai film... or maybe Blade Runner... but we have an emotionless robot running Facebook so... the future... yeah...

Hawkers Asian Street Food is a gem! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and welcoming staff set the tone for an amazing dining experience. The menu is a journey through Asian street food, and every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors. The roti canai was perfectly flaky, paired with a rich curry sauce that had just the right amount of spice. The crispy wings were cooked to perfection--juicy, flavorful, and with a hint of heat that kept us going back for more. The coconut curry ramen was a showstopper, with a creamy, aromatic broth and noodles that soaked up every ounce of deliciousness. What truly sets Hawkers apart is the balance between great food, fast service, and reasonable prices. It's perfect for a casual night out or celebrating with friends. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!Highly recommend Hawkers if you're a fan of bold flavors and a fun dining vibe.

This review is for takeout. First and foremost, this place has fantastic roti canai. The flatbread is perfectly thin and the right balance of crispy and chewy. The sauce is a curry sauce and a great savory pairing. We had ordered a few dishes and my favorites were not only the roti canai, but also the chili crisp wontons (which were flavorful and a great app) and the curry laksa (savory, uniquely flavored and tasted welcoming in an almost homemade kind of way). The chili garlic edamame was good but the sauce wasn't distributed well in its takeout container, which led to a lot of lackluster tasting edamame. I also wasn't a fan of the beef haw fun - it was too oily and way too dry. The wide noodles weren't moist and chewy, which I found disappointing, as it didn't taste fresh. Service was good in that all the food was packaged very well. The inside of the space was also clean and featured lots of neon signs, which was a cool retro vibe.

I've been before in Florida but wanted to come by. I remembered it as an Asian Applebees but forgot why LOL. So came with a friend. It's literally a shotgun of Asian cuisines. Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai - pretty much the greatest hits of all their street foods and then some. It's all tapas style that comes as it's made.Honestly... you're paying for vibes and the decor. The food while pretty decent, hard to feel authentic in any of the cuisines when you hit so many at once. I unironically thought the poutine was the best dish we had, which makes me sad from not being a main staple as well as being frozen fries. One example was soup dumplings I liked the meat, but my friend preferred Trader Joe's. I'll come back for the poutine and the cocktails, but I don't think Hawkers is a place I'll want to come hungry. Kinda feels like a place my coworkers would take me if they want Asian food but not really lol

To my yelpers-my dearest apologies, but I have been doing y'all a serious disservice by not reviewing one of my favorite Asian restaurants.Hawkers Asian Street Food is an absolute must try. My food is consistently good and well packaged, and they offer a variety of meat and vegetarian options.Im also ashamed to admit that Ive ordered several different items from here..and Ive failed to take yelpie food pics of them...because as soon as my Hawkers arrives, it's going straight into my belly :)My highest recommendations are the kimchi fried rice, which comes with chicken, and I also add the steak..but you can request it vegetarian too. Either way, it's so delicious!! Also, I recommend their bbq short ribs and their pork belly and fried hot honey chicken bao buns...insert **drool** here.Their fried banana and ice cream dessert is a tasty treat that comes with raspberry sauce, whipped cream, and nuts. Ive ordered their pad thai for colleagues, and they all loved it. And my vegan/vegetarian colleagues enjoyed their papaya salad and tofu veggie stir fry. Btw-for my dietary restrictions yelpers- most items can be modified. Hawkers Asian Street Food is absolutely terrific..and one time, I happened to be in the area and placed an in person order, and everyone was so friendly, and the ambiance is a total vibe. Looks very nice for happy hour and their outside door seating is colorful and romantic. I think I saw heaters outside as well. Highly recommend!

This place rocks! Food comes out hot and fresh when you dine in, and travels well when taken to go! They don't accept reservations, but you can walk up and get seated pretty easily! Hard to find anything on the menu that's not delish, but I must say my favorite are the soup dumplings which I believe are done in only. The twice fried wings are incredible as well - a must try, and all of the noodle dishes are a little heartier if you're not looking to share starters.
