This is a hidden gem on post. I had a banh mi and it was delicious! Highly recommend checking them out and supporting. The lady behind the register Noc (not sure on spelling) is friendly and happy to help.

The Banh Mi grilled chicken sandwich was to die for. Nice fresh crispy veggies and delectable chicken all on a nice light bun. Service was excellent and the ambience had a nice modern look and great vibes. I'll be stopping in here next time I'm on base.

Harpazo is a Vietnamese fusion eatery that's located inside the Fort Belvoir Community Center on the Fort Belvoir base. You will need to have a visitor's pass to gain access.Their menu offers sandwiches, tacos, bowls, and sides, with the meat options being chicken (marinated/seasoned with Mediterranean spices), caramelized pork belly, kofte, or falafel. We came here for lunch, and we ordered:+Banh Mi sandwiches - we opted for the chicken for one, and the caramelized pork belly for the other one; both were topped with chili mayo, pickled carrots, scallions, cucumbers, and sliced jalapenos in a homemade banh mi roll; I did request no cilantro, extra pickled carrots, and extra chili mayo; the bread was unbelievable, as it was super fresh, had a nice crisp, and was super yummy! Not sure if I cared for the Mediterranean-style chicken, and wished they had more of a Vietnamese BBQ/grilled type of meat instead! +a Mediterranean Sandwich - opted for falafel; this was tucked in their homemade pita, topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, and tzatziki sauce; I did request no lettuce, but should have also opted out of the tomatoes, as they were kind of mushy; the falafels were a bit dry and unflavorful; served with a side of french fries, which were really delicious, as they were like battered fries - the best thing, besides the fresh pita bread, of this dish!+Taco Trio - comes in a set of 3, offering one of each (Chicken Peanut, Pork Belly, and Kofte Turkish Beef); all in a soft corn tortilla, topped with house slaw and sliced jalapenos; served with a side of fresh tortilla chips and a cup of salsa; these tacos were stuffed to the max, but slightly messy with the slaw and the chili mayo-like drizzle on top; the tortilla itself could have been warmed or toastedPortions are generous, and easily shared by at least 2 people. Their housemade breads are so great - I'm curious if they sell those separately by the bulk! They have a great unique selection of flavored sodas and bottled drinks; their soda machine, however, doesn't have a 'water' option, and the ice was totally out (which was refilled later). Those who want 'water' would need to use the fountains by the entrance area. You go up to the cashier to order, and find a seat - it's like a banquet hall, so there's plenty of seating!. They'll bring your order(s) to you. Service is very friendly and kind!I do wish they had a better selection of to-go boxes, as they were all just 'small' containers, where you'll just have to cram your leftovers in. Plenty of parking in their large lot!+great housemade breads!+tasty fries!+great flavored soda selection+friendly service+located inside the Fort Belvoir Community Center+require a visitor's pass to gain access to the base

I've have all chain restaurants on the base, so a new place was a breath of fresh air. I ordered the taco trio, and those things are absolutely amazing? Super fresh, great flavor, and beautiful presentation. I work on-site 2 times a week, and i have a feeling I'll be eating there each time I'm in the office.

A must try if you are on post! The interior is beautiful and the facility is extremely clean. I ordered the chicken peanut tacos and my husband had the taco trio. The tacos were outstanding! The peanut tacos were phenomenal, the slaw was crunchy and flavorful. The service was A+, we were welcomed with a smile and staff recognized and spoke with regulars who were coming in. We also tried the lychee and hibiscus teas, which were refreshing and not too sweet. I will be coming back to try more items on the menu.

Wonderful new addition to the restaurant options on Ft. Belvoir! So happy to finally have a place almost a year after the previous restaurant left. I have had the salad with chicken and the grilled chicken sandwich in their fresh made pita. The chicken has so much flavor and the seasoned fries were perfect! They have spent a lot of time decorating the space as well and it looks awesome! The owner is so friendly and attentive, the serve breakfast and lunch. Will be coming here often!

The food and service was excellent. We had the salad with Kofte which is like beef meatball and it was fresh and delicious. The bread was out of this world crusty on the outside and delicious through and through. Also we had the chips and salsa. The salsa is one of the best I've had. The owner very nice and friendly and informed us the bread is made fresh daily, and so is that awesome salsa. Please go if you can, since its on Fort Belvoir. We went through the Pence gate and it's on the left, if not that gate, it's well worth the trip from any gate. I look forward to returning soon. Harpazo means rapture. I'm looking forward to that too.
