Mmm..mm..mmm..mmmmm! What can I say????? I ordered the the veggie egg rolls and a custom roll with TOFU. see pic below. If you get it, you get it. We do apologize for the excessive use of napkins but I had so much juices all over me it was intense.... The freshness from the vegetables and it's beautiful color from all the items just absolutely tickled my pickle XD. The vibes were calm, cute and relaxing. Good vibes and good food? Oh I'll be back to this spot! Maybe I'll meow you around xoxo

The space that Happy Eatery occupies is pretty cute - downstairs, you have a bar area, and if you make your way up the stairs, there are more seating options. The menu features pho, Vietnamese plates, appetizers, teas, and Vietnamese coffee. The hubs and I came here for an early dinner, and we ordered the following:+Magnum Roll - rice paper-wrapped rolls with a choice of protein (we opted for pork), with pickled veggies, cucumber, mint, lettuce, and sauteed scallions (without cilantro) - when I came here initially, I thought these rolls were SO tasty - they definitely had some girth, jam-packed with a great ratio of the meat and the veggies, and they were delicious on its own without the sauce; however, the visits afterward showed that these were just inconsistent - ratio of the fillings were off, customizations of certain ingredients were not adhered to, and/or the fillings were just not fresh+Bo Kho - Vietnamese braised beef stew that's served with pho noodles and a toasted French baguette - wasn't really feeling the broth, as it was a little too strong and had an off odor to it+Spicy Oxtail Pho - hand-pulled oxtail meat with a beef broth - this soup was also inconsistent - the first bowl had plenty of oxtail meat, which I was very surprised with; not sure if it was just a mistake on that initial visit and someone was just heavy-handed, but the next orders were more broth and a pinch of oxtail+Eggs Rated Banh Mi - choice of protein (we went for the pork) with all the usual banh mi toppings and Vietnamese and Sriracha mayo; the baguette was a little chewy, which I'm not a fan of+Strawberry Fields - strawberry milk topped with Matcha Cloud - appreciated that it was made with fresh milk, but this drink did not have any flavor to it+The Classic - slow-dripped Vietnamese coffee - more bitter than strong & creamyStaff are friendly, and there are also kiosks where you can order; with the customizations, it's just better to order in-person, but the orders do still come out inaccurately (at least, on all of my visits).Parking is extremely limited, with limited street parking, but there's also a parking garage option.+inconsistent orders+inaccurate orders+friendly staff+limited metered street parking available

Was super excited about having an array of Vietnamese options easily accessible in my work hood, but my banh mi ($10.50) was kind of a miss. They used chicken breast meat that was kind of dry and bland (needs more seasoning and perhaps a splash of fish sauce). I also don't like how they include eggs in all the banh mi options. If you're going to serve eggs, at least make them sunny side up so they ooze like sauce to complement the crunchy baguette. The radish to carrot ratio in the pickled veg portion of the banh mi was also too low. They should also slather on more pate by default. Baguette was delicious.Looking forward to trying the pho and boba, after which I will update my review.

Amazing atmosphere, superb customer centered service and the tasty food. They had it all. It didn't disappoint me. I loved some of the new menu items like the dumpling soup and seafood soup and I finished them all in no time. It had a very crispy clean taste to them. My kids really enjoyed the food. The decor and the atmosphere is so amazing. You have to check it out. It won't disappoint you.

The food was great and it came out very quick. It was a little confusing to find as the directions take you to Lynn street and it's on N Moore street.

Delicious!! A much needed restaurant and boba bar in Rosslyn. The owners and team are so nice and you can tell they really care about the customer experience and quality of food served. I definitely see more team lunches in my future here.

The tofu bahn mi was amazing! Seriously. The ingredients were fresh and the sauces on the sandwich were irresistible. I honestly can't wait to get that sandwich again it was so so so good. It's hard to find a good vegetarian bahn mi usually, so look no further because the one here is perfect and extremely filling.I came here with my whole team for lunch and it was easy to order at the kiosks downstairs and just pick up our food to go. The wait wasn't too bad either. Everyone loved their bahn mis with different protein options. My teammate also loves the magnum rolls. The only thing that wasn't a winner for everyone was the fried rice - they said it was only ok. So just get a bahn mi instead you know you want one :)

I was very thrilled that a Vietnamese cuisine restaurant opened up in Rosslyn! There aren't many options on this side of town and its very accessible to my job.I have been to to place quite a few times to try the different items on the menu. The spring rolls were great! Crunchy and the sweet chili sauce to accompany them made it a hit. I have also tried the vegetable and beef pho. The vegetable pho was okay, but the broth really lacked seasoning. While the beef pho's broth, with the sate (spicy) was very flavorful, the beef was overcooked and dry. I would honestly just take the beef pho, without the beef. The staff is very helpful and pleasant, but the ordering system at the kiosk's make it hard for you to really customize your order. So it's basically take it how it is. The lines can get super long during the lunch. All and all, a quality place and i'll be back!

Simple utilitarian restaurant. Not much table service. Meal was tasty. I didn't pay, but guess it was probably reasonable value.
