First time I got food from here was through grubhub order and it was quite good when I was finally in the area I decided to eat in. I've now been here numerous times to eat in as well as order out. I don't feel enough people know about it. Every time I go, it's pretty empty I went sunday afternoon and there was only one other table filled beside our. I absolutely love the spicy gan ja jang & creamy lemon shrimp here, and I would say hands down, this has now become my favorite korean-chinese restaurant here in the DMV

Haoru is a family friendly restaurant that won't break your bank. There aren't too many Korean-Chinese food options in Centreville. I have tried Haoru for about 2 years now. I think the food, cleanliness and service was better in the beginning. I think it is the natural order of things for restaurants to get dirty over time, but there are improvements to be made in terms of cleanliness. The portion size is generous for a good price. I like their brisket Jjampong and gan jjajang. The tang su yuk here doesn't have a whole lot of batter around it so I appreciate that. You can either pour the sauce or dip the individual pieces based on your preference. Also, this is a tip: put some ice cubes in the pickled radish along with some vinegar. It'll make the radish crunchier. There are plenty of parking in the mall.

My mom and I had a great experience at this restaurant! I have been when it first opened and the changes seem to be very positive. The restaurant seems much more established now. Very clean and well-maintained as well! The service was similar to any other Korean restaurant, nothing too special. The food really hit the spot. My mom has been wanting fried jjamppong noodles for the longest time and she said she has not seen this option in restaurants in her 30 years of living in the states. She was so surprised to find the meal she enjoyed so much growing up in Korea, so we had to order it! It was the perfect spicy kick but not too spicy where I would be reaching for water constantly. The flavors were very nice and the choice of veggies, meat, and seafood was perfect too. I ordered the ja jang myeon and I thought it was pretty good because you didn't taste so much MSG like other restaurants nearby. I personally think MSG overpowers dishes too much and can't taste the genuine flavors of the ingredients so I really enjoyed their take on this dish. Lastly, I honestly came for yoo ring gi because I just had it in Korea and it was so good. This one was really good too! I loved the sauce and the crispiness of the chicken. They give you so much portion so it was well worth the price. We took some to go because we could not finish and it was still good!I would definitely return to this restaurant! Highly recommend!

The food was very good and came out quickly, i went alone and the service was subpar. They were more attentive to bigger groups or couples, but they were still kind when I waved them down. Would go again, portions are great for the price.

Casual vibe indoors with plenty of seating. I noticed that multiple reviews mentioned large portions, but I personally thought portions were simply adequate or maybe even a bit small. Ja jang meon tasted okay alongside the jjam pong, but I do wish the jjam pong had more vegetables/seafood with a richer broth. Shrimp khan poong maybe have had a bit too much batter since the outer coating had a thick "slimy" texture that sloughed off fairly easily. I personally found it equivalent to chicken skin, which was neither good nor bad in my opinion. Service was very good. I would visit again to try other menu items.

Visited during lunchtime with a friend. Loved everything we ordered. The portions are huge and the service very prompt. Just wish it's easier to order online and it wasn't so quiet inside. Parking is free and plentiful. The noodles and fried mandus are a must to order. The pork fries with gravy were delicious too. I wouldn't mind visiting again if I am back in the area.

Saw this place all over social media and it's been a hot second since I've had Korean/Chinese food so my husband and I decided to stop here. We ordered the fried mandu, the jampoong since that's usually my go to and the japchae/jajangmyeon dish. The fried mandu are HUGE and the sauce that comes with it is pretty mid. The jampoong honestly wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping. The best thing was the japchae/jajangmyeon which was interesting since I've never had a combo of the two noodles.Overall, everything was super mid. The best thing about this place is the value since we spent I think less than $45 for a TON of food, but overall, I don't see myself returning here.

Another great chinese-korean restaurant in the area! I ordered the black bean noodle as well as the seafood noodle. What I like about the black bean noodle is that there isn't an overload amount of onions and it had a slight sweetness to it. The seafood noodle was slightly spicy and savory! Also, the squid in the soup was too chewy. Would probably come back!

Hao Ru is the best Korean-Chinese restaurants in Centreville and close to the top in the greater DMV area. Their menu offers all the typical Korean-Chinese staples with large portions and reasonable prices. We were craving some Tang Su Yuk and Jjajangmyeon. The Tang Su Yuk was perfectly battered and came out with plenty of tangy sauce. The jjajangmyeon noodles were fresh with flavorful sauce. Banchan was standard for more places. Service is as expected from typical Korean restaurants and plenty of seating.

Located at a quite plaza, but the food is quite comfortable to eat. The sweet flavor is more dominating in most of dishes. The fried dumplings, which are really big, tastes quite surprising.
