Love the Herndon Guapos location! Has been serving the community for over 10+ years! Great service always friendly and attentive when providing great service. The portions of food are great especially the nachos they sell you can easily split among 3 people. The space itself it very lively with tvs showing sports, kid shows, and lovely music that keeps the restaurant upbeat and peppy! I love getting their chicken plate with the yucca fries and plantains. But also enjoy their tres leches as a quick snack!

Latin-style rotisserie chicken with the full gamut of sides and salsas represents one of me and my wife's favorite takeout meals. We had a go to restaurant for a chicken meal in each of the respective locations we previously lived. As such, we decided to check out Guapo's when the craving for this type of meal struck.We ordered on a weeknight online and our food was ready for pickup within the quoted 15 minutes. A whole chicken platter here with 3 sides costs about $30. We deemed this a good value, since it provided 3 hearty meals worth of food for us. The chicken itself ranked among the more tasty birds we have tried. The charcoal cook on the chicken manifests as a distinct smoky flavor and addictive, crisp bits of charred skin. The marinade used is zesty and bright with a good background of pepper. While some pieces of white meat ran a touch dry, the superb taste of the chicken mitigated any textural issues. Of the two provided sauces, we preferred the fresher, slightly hot green sauce over the richer mayo based white one.The sides were no slouch, either. We opted for the charro beans, plantains, and flour tortillas. The beans, advertised as "flavored with pork," comprised large chunks of tender meat and creamy beans in a rich broth. The plantains' soft interior texture contrasted nicely with the more caramelized edges and provided a welcome sweet-savory component to the meal. The tortillas tasted fresh and had a flaky, buttery feel. Guapo's generously portions their sides, an additional plus. Overall, I find it hard to beat $30 for the quantity and quality of food we sampled. I envision Guapo's becoming a welcome addition to our go to takeout restaurants in the area, and am already eager to return for more chicken.

Came here for the first time today. It is a very casual vibe and the workers were nice. The ambiance isn't bad but it is more of a fast food ish pace and you order at the counter. This place has the best Peruvian chicken by far. I don't know how but the chicken is so flavorful! It's never dry and even the chicken underneath the skin has the flavor of the spice rub they use. They also have the best yucca I've had. The plantains are also really good. Not too oily. The pineapple juice and horchata are also really really good. The service here is fairly good. It can sometimes get a little busy and take upwards of 10-15 mins for your order. But the staff here are great and they are always super helpful. The ambiance here is nice. I've never eaten in the restaurant but walking in is always nice. It feels like they want you to be in a Peruvian/Spanish style place. They also have outdoor seating if you prefer to sit outside. There's a parking lot so plenty of parking available too. Definitely try this place out if you like Peruvian chicken and haven't had it yet.

As we walked into Guapo's, this restaurant is welcoming. We were greeted by the staff with smiles. Such a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant displayed amazing graffiti and you can see the chicken roasting.The chicken was seasoned exactly to perfection, it was moist. The chicken nachos omg. A perfect mixture of cheese and chicken!!! The soup took me back to Colombia...

This is my personal opinion but rotisserie flame broiled chicken is so delicious and one of my go-to's when it comes to eating out. I want to go back to try some of the other menu items. It was lunchtime when I was there and they have a great dining area for setting up your laptop to work in between meetings. They also have free wifi and everyone was friendly.
