Every time I come here, I leave so happy! Haven't tried their pho but the dim sum selection is great. Rice rolls, shrimp balls (which are manageable to eat!), and xiu mai are all solid options. The chili oil here means business which I love. Service has always been exceptional. Will absolutely return when I don't want to make the trek to Hong Kong Pearl.

I came back bc I was craving their pho!! This time, the broth was too salty, and I felt that they didn't put enough meat. In both my build your own pho, I had 3 choices of meat, but only got a little of each. My husband got the pho dac biet with all the meats but again, his bowl was lacking a lot of meats. I had to share mine so he could be full. It's just the love we show each other lol. Also, our waiter never brought out the fresh veggies, until we asked, and he was confused about why we wanted it.Later, when we asked for to go containers, the same waiter was confused when we asked for 2 containers, one for the broth and one for the noodles (pro tip, always ask for two to keep the noodles from becoming too soggy) I think it was just an off afternoon, but I'll definitely be back for a quick viet coffee fix! This is the most affordable viet coffee for $6 in the area!!

Dim sum with family for the New Year - sadly no carts after 2pm. The all-day dim sum menu had most offerings except some of my favs: shrimp rice noodle, pineapple bun & egg custard (sad x2).The food was cooked well, friendly service - biggest con, food temp was luke warm (only eggplant dish was piking hot) - thus carts are nice, thus the 3stars.

An absolute gem! Service is attentive and super kind - we had a large party so they were extremely accommodating. Inside just feels like a local family restaurant.Food here is delicious and fresh - I got to try their Tai Pho and their broth tastes so clean and plentiful portions.Their Shrimp Rice Paper roll (?) not sure of the name but picture attached.... MY FAVORITE. LOVE the chewy and noodle like texture and has shrimp inside! The sauce is delectable as well! I get pretty full off these but I love them so much. Also tried their crystal shrimp dumplings which were pretty good and their pineapple buns! (more on the dessert side) and has a good amount of sweet filling. Also tried their regular dumplings and those were solid as well! Overall, definitely would try their other menu items but I am so coming back for those shrimp paper rolls and pho! 8/10!

Nice service, nice interior decor and cleanliness. Their sate chili oil is SO BOMB. One of the best restaurant safe I had in a while. It packs a punch and is full of flavor. Not a fan of their summer rolls though. Too much noodles and it's just halved shrimp, no pork. But I def want to come back to try more dishes.

We've only had great experiences dining here (and I was skeptical at first!). When a pho place is combined with another cuisine, it raises a tiny red flag for me (like will either be good?) Happy to report that Green Basil actually DOES do both dimsum and pho well. It's not the traditional pho menu that you would see at a pho restaurant, but the flavors are comparable to our favorite pho places in the area. Sometimes we skip the noodles/meat all together and just get a helping of broth (so good). The dimsum is reasonably priced. I think it's charming that they try to do the carts too when you're walking in. It's not a traditional dim sum cart service - really it's a la carte, but the food is delish! I liked the taro shrimp cake, bean crud rolls, eggplant with shrimp paste. Most everything was fresh and made-to-order (which is more than can be said for other dim sum places in the area where the food has a 50/50 chance of sitting there for a bit and being cold). The interior is also clean and modern - really a nice place to sit and eat. The service here is always friendly. We chatted with the waiter about how much we loved the pho broth and he said he'd pass it on to the chef. We're definitely going to be back!

Parking: it is located in a shopping center, so there is a good number of parking spaces. Seating: there is a decent amount of seating. They have tables and chairs indoors (nothing outdoors). I would say it's on the smaller side of restaurants. Food: they have the basic pho + dimsum (small dishes). It was pretty good. It's the closest dimsum place in the area. The pho and dimsum were average (nothing super special about it) but location is great!Bathroom: there are bathrooms located in the back of the restaurant Price: the pho is on the pricier side, compared to some other pho restaurants. The dimsum is probably more worth it.Service: it was great! Our server was very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our experience overall!

The braised salmon was succulent and soft, with a lovely flavor. The pan fried dumplings were just right. Stir fried vegetables were nothing special, and the steamed spare ribs were a bit greasy. Not perfect, but really good; we will be back soon, and I need to try the Pho. I just got distracted by the dim sum, which I can't resist.

Finally a spot where my whole family can go and everyone can get exactly what they want.My husband, toddler, and I feasted on plates and plates of har gow, shu mai, and shrimp and crab balls while my dumpling hating daughter happily slurped on a bowl of pho. The restaurant is very clean and modern and I love how they still do dim sum with the old school carts. The owner was really involved and walking around, but all of the staff was just lovely, asking questions, and anticipating needs in advance. The place was hopping on a Sunday afternoon and it kind of reminded me of the old days when you used to run into friends grabbing a bowl of pho after a night of clubbing. We'll definitely be back.

Food: - pho: the broth was on the sweeter side than my liking - lotus salad: absolutely amazing! The fish sauce is on the sweet sider but I thought this was perfect. - green basil broken rice special: awesome! I like how they cut the meat for you. The pickled carrots were such an interesting flavor and kinda spicy(?) than what I'm used to for this dish.- pan fried noodle: not the best. I've had a lot better. The noodles were not fried and more soggy. The sauce just was not good. - stream spare ribs from the dim sum menu: this was okay. Mediocre and nothing too special. Service was friendly and food came out pretty fast.
