This was an okay stop in Georgetown! It wasn't super crowded on a Sunday afternoon so we were able to order and find a table easily. We got a Greek salad which was just cucumbers, onions, tomato, feta, and dressing. It was pretty refreshing and the onions were not too overpowering. We shared a lamb pita with tzatziki. The lamb was a little tough and not in the typical gyro slices you get, it was more like little chunks. I think it was more halal style with the fries inside. I also wanted the halloumi which was definitely overpriced at $6 for two slices of halloumi but it was good! Overall it was a fine lunch but probably not somewhere I would go out of my way to go again.

Greco is like Cava except potentially more interesting. My biggest issue, however was that nothing actually tasted better than Kaveh, which you would really hope would be the case if a place seemed more local slightly more upscale and fresher. I did think that the options were nice to have and the lamb certainly tasted like lamb, which is not always the case when you go with fast casual. I also think that they've had a nice range of new and different sauces, though most of them tasted as if you were in a Collegetown eating Collegetown food. I don't think I'll be going back to Greco but if you need something fast casual in Georgetown, your options are somewhat limited, however, I would much rather go to yellow up the street at that far for much butter food. I will say, the Greek sparkling water was a nice touch.

Greco is one of my go-to spots in Georgetown. It's the perfect place for a quick bite, offering consistently delicious food, great prices, and fast service.Everything on the menu is good, but I typically prefer the platters over the gyros, as the gyro portions are a bit small. The fries, which are my favorite, are also incredibly crispy and tasty, so be sure to order them.If you're looking for a quick bit to eat, Greco is the place for sure.

Putting Greco on my list for a good, quick bite. For a pork pita, interacting with the staff was swift and easy. There's not too much to building a pita - choice of meat, sauce, fresh vegetables, and fries - but it all wraps up into something simple yet delicious. I didn't know what to expect when I ordered pork, but I learned it was shredded, which works inside the pita. Since the restaurant is fairly new, the seating area was clean and bright. There's some tables in the front and plenty more on the side, away from the busy ordering counter, where lines can form.Looking forward to trying the different combination of meats and sauces I can get in a meal! They also look like they have some good options for vegetarians.

Honestly not the biggest fan of this place, it was confusing to order, the servers weren't friendly, every single thing for your bowl is like $2 extra & as a Greek food lover- this wasn't impressive or tasty enough to come back. You can find better nearby.

Impressed. Marketing themselves as true Greek food v. American Greek, Boston-born Greco is more Greece than America. The loukoumades (Greek doughnuts) on the menu prove it.Walk inside Greco'a first location in D.C. and find a large dining room with a glass side room. The menu is clear and you order like at Chipotle. There are pitas and platters. Pick one of five meats, a vegan option, and two vegetarian options and add toppings. The pitas come with seasoned fries inside and the platters come with sides like Greek slaw or bean salad. The pork pita with tzatziki and onions was a delight. It was flavorful and perfectly filling. Their pitas are warm and soft. The classic loukoumades were hot and just a tad sweet. They sell a variety of bottled drinks but go for the orange blossom lemonade or Greek mountain tea. Those come with free refills and taste refreshing. There are restrooms, the space is clean, and service is friendly and efficient.

Review is for zucchini chips with tzatziki and the chicken pita sandwich with fries.Great tzatziki sauce that is thick and serves as a perfect dip and spread for chips, fries, and sandwiches! Everything we got had unique seasonings which made trying different things a lot more fun.I would get the chicken pita again without question. It was grilled, fries were awesome, and the meat had perfect grill marks. I'm coming back here ASAP!
