Grazie Nonna

I love this place so much. Everything is so delicious, and the staff is also amazing. The first time I visited, I got the eggplant parm. I'm not typically a red sauce girlie but this dish was to die for. Incredible and huge portions. The second time I got the vodka sauce with shrimp which was also soooo yummy. I think I liked the eggplant parm better, but you can't go wrong. Nonna's martini was excellent. This last time I went, the server was so accommodating to my friends who expressed to him that they love alfredo sauce (lol) they did a chicken parm with alfredo sauce instead of white sauce, and my friend looooved it. They also did chicken parm with red sauce and pasta with alfredo for my partner. I loved how they were so open to customizing our dishes based on our preferences. It went a long way. The pistachio brownie and tiramisu were also delicious, and they gave us the tiramisu on the house for my friend's birthday :) Will be returning!!!

Grazie Nonna is a small, busy, and loud DC restaurant which is pretty much what I expected. We came here for a friend's birthday and tried a few different dishes.The Drunken Love pizza was pretty good though a bit salty and slightly overcooked and hard in my opinion. The Sunday Sauce with added meatballs was a solid pasta dish but the pasta itself was on the harder side. The Chicken Parmigiana was basic, nothing special. On the other hand, the garlic bread was easily my favorite of the night, so good!For dessert, we had the butterscotch pudding, which was just okay. The texture was one-dimensional and there wasn't much to it.Overall, it was a decent meal but for the price, I expected a bit more.

I really had high hopes for this place but it was just okay! Came on a Saturday at 6pm and it was busy up until the minute we left so I wouldn't recommend coming without a reservation. We ordered the most popular dishes - Sunday Sauce and Drunken Love pizza. I've had better pizza and the pasta was good (love a short rib pasta) but I don't think I'd rush back again to order it. We finished with the tiramisu which was great! Overall service was pleasant and the restaurant gives a perfect date night or girls night vibe to dress up. 3.5/5

If you have not been here, what the heck are you doing? I originally came here when it had just opened and while the food was great then, the second time, 2 years later, was even better. Somehow was able to make a reservation 3 hours prior for a 10:30pm, but unfortunately we were seated at the bar. We ordered: Caesar salad 5/5: it was actually good! I recall being SO full, but still decided to finish the bowlDrunken Love 1000/5: don't need to be drunk to be in love with this pizza. This pizza totally just HITS the spot. It might slowly be turning into one of the best places to get pizza in DC. The ambiance is very dim mood lighting perfect for a romantic date night or just a couple of girlfriends hanging out.

I went there with a friend tonight for dinner, and it was the best choice! The vibe is lively, with upbeat music and a fantastic ambiance.We started our meal with calamari, which was absolutely delicious. The sauce had just the right kick, making it a standout dish. For our main course, we shared eggplant Parmesan and branzino. The portions were generous, allowing us to enjoy both dishes, and they were simply mouthwatering.The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive.Additionally, there's a parking garage conveniently located across from the restaurant.

Had reservations for Grazie Nonna and was sat right when I arrived. Service was kind, fast, and accommodating! The vibes inside the restaurant are great for catching up with friends or a cute date night. I ordered the Vodka Sauce Pasta with shrimp and it was great. I absolutely loved it. I wish it was a tad bit more spicy as a red sauce, but aside from that, the flavor was amazing. It came out super fast and I was impressed! I am excited to go back and try their pizza!

Ok... Grazie Nonna!You are small but packed full of EVERYTHING! 1. Anthony, our waiter, Ah-mazing!2. Cucumber Mint Speziato 10/103. Our friend heard the pasta was hard and asked for it to be cooked a few minutes longer. Definitely would recommend. 4. Calamari, Caesar Salad, Garlic Bread, Drunken Love, Crema Di Mais, Branzino! Get it all!I know the summers are great with the patio being open. Right now, it's pretty intimate! We sat at a high top that was similar to a communal style seating arrangement. Our party of 6 was on 1 end and another part of 3 was at the other end.Absolutely, going back!

If you want and amazing meal and world-class service, EAR HERE! I've been a regular diner since they opened, making sure to stop in every time I am in DC! My most recent visit was a stellar as every other Theo was a fantastic server who was very attentive, kind, accommodating, and joyful!And the other floor staff that were filling our waters, clearing plates, bringing food to the table were so sweet and attentive. I don't think we ever had to actually ask for anything. If your water glass was running low, BOOM...no it isn't!I am NOT a world-class restaurant reviewer or VIP guest but Casey, Amjad, JD, and the whole team ALWAYS make me, and everyone I am with, feel like we are. As I sat at the table enjoying my dinner i looked around the dining room and could see people all across the restaurant laughing, smiling, gushing over the food, sharing bites with their table mates because they "have to try this!", and just enjoying the gift of being able to spend time together over such delicious food and drinks! I cannot say enough about this establishment! It has become the place I eat at more than any other restaurant in the country. In all my travels, there is not another place that I HAVE TO eat at when I'm in town. I'm a Grazie Nonna super fan and I cannot wait to come back again!

Some of the best pizza and pasta in DC. I now understand why this place is always packed. The vibe is bustling, in the best way possible. It's downtown, super close to the White House, so a great spot to take friends who are visiting the area. After some sightseeing, you can stop by here and enjoy some good food and drinks. The two times I've gone it's been a great time. Also a good spot for happy hour after work.Do you make a reservation. There hasn't been a time that I've walked past here and it hasn't been packed.

Everything about Grazie Nonna is top-tier. I visited based on a TikTok video, the food looked amazing and of course I added it to my must try restaurant list. There is outdoor and indoor seating options available. I highly suggest making a reservation as this place tends to fill up. The restaurant decor is beautiful. I love the photos and chandeliers throughout the restaurant. The food was so fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the drunken love pizza without pepperoni, the spicy vodka pasta, calamari and the tiramisu. The portion sizes were large enough to share although I could've eaten it all by myself. Our server, Sarah was delightful and attentive. I will definitely come back again. Parking is limited.
