Ordered food online and it never arrived. When we called to check they said a manager would call us back. 3 hours later and no food. This was a go to spot for us for decades and we are sad to see it have gone so far downhill.

Really bad, even basic Chinese food like fried rice and lo mein noodles are terrible. Picked up my food up and basically threw it in the trash after a couple of bites. The food was inexplicably bad; I don't know how or why you would prepare that and think it was servable or edible. Avoid!

I don't get what's wrong with all the people writing reviews. I live right next to here so I get food at this place all the time, it's super cheap, the people are really really nice, and the food is fine. The food isn't the most amazing thing ever but it's good and definitely worth the price.Edit: they even are so nice that sometimes they give me extra food and one time my boyfriend dropped the hot and sour soup (something I get every time because it's so yummy) and THEY GAVE US A WHOLE NEW ONE. This place deserves more then a two star rating :(

Definitely wish I checked the reviews before ordering. The crab rangoons were good but the food was quite bad. The "fried rice" is just yellow salty rice and the Happy Family had very little sauce and flavor. Good portion sizes but not good quality food, especially for the price, I would not recommend.

I tried to pick up from this restaurant and called my order in. I was told I could pick up in 15-20 min. I went to pick up my food and no one was at the front to help. It took about 10 min for them to come out, after I rang their bell. Then I was told there was no order (even though I showed my phone conversation) and was told I'd have to wait another 15-20 min for the food I previously ordered. I ended up just leaving cause I didn't have an additional 15-20 min to give them and just went to the Thai place across the street (their food was pretty good in case you're wondering).

I ordered fried chicken, soup and a few other dishes.. Chicken is raw. The taste is horrible..Waste of money .. I love Chinese food but unfortunately i wont think of eating it for a long time now.Worst Chinese food ever ..

Well, my family had a good experience with ribs and fried rice a month ago.We ordered for a special occasion tonight. It was a complete disappointment. The Buddhist Delight (which is traditionally supposed to have several kinds of mushrooms, bamboo shoots and other vegetables) was tasteless: broccoli, mini corn, carrots and some over sized onions was wholly without flavor. An order of pork chow mein came in equally tasteless, with oversized pieces of onion and what may, or may not have been pork. One of us had fried rice, which they reported was good again. The accompanying rice was fine, and the hot and sour soup ok. Still, would I order out from Grand Hunan again. NOPE. There was not even a hint of really trying for Chinese seasoning.

Having read some of the reviews, I am flummoxed. The area is rife with Asian options but let's get into it. I know everyone's tastes differ so this is just MY take on this place. I was pleased with what we ordered. I saw a negative comment on the Egg Drop Soup. My wife found it superior to others, not overly salty and flavorful. We got spring rolls and an egg roll. Both were cooked to perfection, crips and savory, we have had experience with soggy egg rolls in the past, probably do to improper oil temperature control, such was not the case here. I had the chicken lo mien and it was excellent. The chicken was well prepared and tender, very fresh, Why only three stars? It is a take out and a virtual hole in the wall so no grade for ambiance. Service was fine, I ordered by phone ad my order was ready as promised and hot when I arrived. There are a number of Chinese restaurants closer to our home but most have proven themselves lacking in one regard or another, so I am happy to drive the extra distance to get good food at a good value. I'm totally surprised by the low reviews, but to each his own I guess.

the worst service with the most inefficient people , no concept of customer service or apologies for their screw-ups. I ordered food for pick up, brought home and realized it wasn't what I ordered. called them immediately was told it would asked to send photographs, eventually forced to return the incorect order for a refund to the restaurant 20 mins away. Disgraceful attitude for their mistake, zero customer service, bad attitude all round.. and if your business accepts phone orders for pick up, make sure the person on the phone understands English. if not, the customer is not to blame. be careful dealing with this company, this is not the first time they have screwed upand I am not the only person disgusted by their attitude.

Don't deal with place. They cheat. We ordered a number of dishes for pick up. They gave the wrong dishes. Grand Hunan wanted me to send them a photo of the food and wanted me to come all the way back and return the food before giving me a refund for the wrong food. The worst customer service. NEVER AGAIN.
